Brown sugar latte made with banana beans

They have a good variety of drinks and some food items too. Tucked away right off Newport blvd and 17th. Parking is limited here in the lot but lots on the street. Been here quite a few times and this by far is my favorite. They have a banana foster drink which is good if you enjoy banana flavor. Take their brown sugar latter and have them make it with the banana beans. Very good flavor profile, very good after taste. Interior has a nice little coffee shop vibe with some exterior seating right around the corner. If you're in the area definitely give them a try over Starbucks! You won't regret it at all.

Great coffee! I've stopped here a few times leaving my dermatologist near by. The staff were always nice, it was never busy when I was there since it was the afternoon. Ive had the mocha & cold brew. Both very good. I have a pretty high caffeine tolerance and the nitro had me shaking on my drive home- great if you need a boost! It's a pretty small shop, there are only a few tables. The parking lot is small and awkward, I recommend parking on the street. The stalls are marked for each of the business so pay attention. Ample parking is available on the street when I've been.

602 Coffee shop is really, really hidden and easily missed if you're not familiar to the area or don't have a navigator with you. The cafe is tucked in a plaza and located corner on a public way along the major intersection. The interior is small but welcoming. I like that the barista was dressed up to match the Halloween decorations. The barista was friendly and nice. The drinks were great and my favorite was the caramel macchiato coffee!

Usually good, but our order today was laughable. A large power bowl with maybe a quarter of it containing acai, and PB toast with very little toppings. Hope this isn't what 602 considers acceptable. Pictured: This is what a large power bowl and PB toast is now apparently.

This is literally my favorite coffee spot right now and I have been here multiple times. I always order 2 drinks so it can last me a few days. I love the coconut caramel latte and the caramel macchiato. I always thought Starbucks had the best caramel macch but this place tops it and is actually better!!! These 2 drink are my favorite and I am obsessed with this place. I am so happy it is close to work and I didn't know they give discounts if you work in the medical field!!!! I am so happy they do that and I can't wait to go back!

Ordered a PCh bagel is was hot and satisfying. I want to try the Thicc Bagel next time. My barista was knowledgeable and very kind. She knew I was a first timer and had no problem tending to my questions and need to see what kind of coconut milk they use. The milk does matter my friends. Very cutesy shop it was around 10am when I walked in not very noisy. I felt relaxed ordering and enjoyed the simple and modern decor. I can't wait to come back with my sister and best friend I will revise my review after my second visit to try a few different items. Everything is always better with friends

Cute small spot! Swung by to try their charcoal latte and it wasn't too bad! First sip was smoky and earthy and it's a really pretty dark gray (bonus cute latte art)! I wish there was a bit more charcoal but totally fine as is too. Got a 16oz large w/almond milk to about ~$8 They do decaf thankfully for anyone else who's also caffeine sensitive like me. They have some other interesting breakfast themed drinks with different cereals so if you got a sweet tooth those might be fun to try!

10/10! Very convenient, parking is easy if you're in a rush. Staff is kind, helpful, fast and delivered a quality latte. My coffee was. Literally the perfect color I was so excited. The coffee blend also has a nice flavor. The shop is so clean and cute, I can't wait to try their whole menu. I ordered the coconut Carmel and it was amazing. I highly recommend this place!

From the moment you walk in, there's an easy coastal energy, matched by a menu that balances indulgence with thoughtful execution. I ordered the Signature Caramel Macchiato, and it's easy to see why this drink is a house favorite. Smooth and rich, it strikes that elusive balance of sweetness with the caramel and vanilla. Made with two shots of their premium coastal blend espresso, the drink carries a clear, pleasant coffee backbone you can actually taste the beans, which is a detail too often lost in flavored espresso drinks. Definitely recommend the large. The ice is blended to a silky consistency that melts evenly, keeping the drink smooth from the first sip to the last. Finished with oat milk and a caramel drizzle, it's refreshing, cohesive, and expertly constructed. I also ordered the Power Acai Bowl. The base is a pure acai blended sorbet, and the texture is spot on thick, spoonable, and never icy or watered down. Consistency is everything with acai, and here it's executed flawlessly. The bowl is generously topped with hemp hearts granola, a scoop of peanut butter, half a banana, strawberries, blueberries, and finished with a drizzle of honey. Each ingredient feels intentional, adding layers of flavor and texture without overwhelming the acai itself. It's nourishing, indulgent, and well balanced a bowl that satisfies without feeling heavy. Service ties the experience together beautifully. Hannah was warm, attentive, and clearly takes pride in what they serve. Seems like a hidden gem although it is right off Newport Blvd. I am a well versed coffee drinker and have to say I found my fav latte of all of Newport when I came here. Stopped here with my boyfriend on our way to the beach, we were wanting two different things - I wanted something lighter like açaí and my boyfriend wanted a breakfast sandwich. To my surprise this place had bagel breakfast sandwiches as well as acai! Score! We also got a couple iced coffees which were delicious! They have lots of non dairy alternatives as well for no charge which was exiting. My boyfriend loved his PCH Bagel on jalapeño (they have multiple options to choose from) and my acai bowl was actually filled with acai not just granola! Everyone working was very welcoming and nice. I drove by 602 New Year's Eve and instantly thought of the amazing tasting açaí bowl I had had there a few days prior. Had to go back and write this. Terrific cups of coffee my daughter and I had and the açaí bowl I had with fresh bananas strawberries and granola was ridiculous! I'm literally going to go back today now that I'm thinking about it. Small shop, cozy few seats indoor and a few outdoor too. We noticed patrons came and went with smiles. Lots with their dogs, other with friends and lots of strollers too. We noticed because we had the window table for a good 90 minutes as we caught up on life and plans just before Xmas and the new year. Anyway, I'm going back! What more is there to say. read more

Me and my crew had lunch today at 602 Coffeehouse. I love the Avocado Toast and California Bagels. I had them both for lunch and saved one for later lol. They have huge potions of food and drinks. I also had a nice cold coffee type of Boba which was fire. Acai bowls are good too. My second time over here since i move to Fountain Valley which is closer to coffee house now. Place is always lit during the day. WOnderful staff and crew that work here. Will be my go to spot from now on. read more

I ordered a "Thick Bagel" sandwich, I had it as an uber eats order and the person on the phone at 602 was nice but the sandwich had old Avocado on it. It was it was completely brown with a little green as a "cover up." I also asked for extra bacon and cream cheese and got neither put on it. I rent a storage behind this place. I have gotten coffee nearly every time I come to get something. Went here this morning. Will never go back. Paid 6 dollars to have a woman drop her food being an absolute idiot and proceed to blame me. Maybe this place could get a new door with all the 6-7 dollar subpar coffee they sell. do yourself a favor, go to Starbucks. don't waste your time, don't risk the bs. read more

I came in today around 9 while I was waiting for my windows to get tinted down the street I got a banana Foster's cold brew and a bagel the total was 13 I had 11 dollars and a hundred and I knew they wouldn't been able to break it so I was going to go get change and without hesitation Taylon went in her own purse and got 2 more dollars so I didn't have to leave ... Amazing Lavender Latte! Best one I have ever had, very soothing and warm. Love the espresso used also soothing on tummy with almond milk. I've been here a couple of times. The workers are nice and pleasant to interact with. They have great customer service. Today when my açaí bowl took longer to get it out, the manager Maddie went out of her way to give me a small coffee for free. I also got a big açaí bowl for free because they took longer to get it out. I appreciate that they, especially Maddie, went out of their way to give me great customer service. Thanks 602 coffee house for great customer service and you'll expect to see me come in more often. I will shout out to Maddie for great customer service. Immediately after walking into the store I was greeted by all the workers. I decided to order the power bowl and my gosh is this bowl filled with goodness. I was shocked by the generous amount of granola in the bowl. As a granola fan I do recommend this place. The atmosphere and overall vibe of the store is amazing to the nice tables and windows giving you a good view while enjoying a nice refreshing bowl of açai. GO HERE! read more

Super yummy coffee - I like their lavender latte and coconut caramel latte. I always ask for the drinks to be less sweet than normal, though. They make them pretty sweet. Also, LOVE love love the PB toast. The employees are really nice too. Love that 602 is in our neighborhood. read more

Great acai bowls. Fruits were ripe and ratios were perfect. Got the small bowl but still a good portion. Their dripp coffee isn't the greatest but I highly recommend the Iced Oatmilk Latte. Workers are very friendly and welcoming. read more

This little hidden gem was so so good. We had a Power Acai bowl that was nice and hefty, bananas foster cold brew and a vanilla latte. The staff was so nice. Let's just say, I live about 35 minutes away but I would definitely drive on a nice weekend, just to get what I had or trust a recommendation from them to try something new. read more

I was like, maybe they don't understand my question, so I asked once again how many grams of protein does the "protein smoothie" come with and they continue with 0.5 grams. I'm confused because that wouldn't make it a PROTEIN smoothie. How can 1 scoop contain just half a gram of protein!? I kindly thanked them and walked out. I had to go to another smoothie place.

This place is on point in regards to consistency. I appreciate the dedication they have towards maintaining their standards. Whenever I visit this coffee shop, I am consistently impressed by the quality. Whether it's their lattes, pastries, or other beverages, they never disappoint. The taste is always amazing, and I can rely on them to deliver a consistent experience. During my recent visit, I decided to try something new: the coconut matcha. Surprisingly, it captured my heart and taste buds. The combination of coconut and matcha flavors was a pleasant surprise, and I found myself falling in love with this drink. Although the ambiance may not currently provide a cozy atmosphere, I have heard that the coffee shop is planning a remodel. I hope that with the upcoming changes, they will be able to create a more inviting and comfortable space for their customers. I'd love to spend some time here working but for now I don't mind just grabbing my coffee when I'm nearby.
