Location sucks. It shares a lot with the car wash and a super busy road so it's tough getting in and out. But if you can get in with your car, the workers inside are super chill. I accidentally dropped my coffee and was apologetic and they assured me several times that it was okay and accidents happen. They look up and gives smiles as you enter as well. It's a smallish location but they have everything you need including hot coffee. Could have been a four star place but the lot which I know is out of their control, is terrible. read more

I'm a total foodie, and I come here all the time--out of all the 7-Elevens I've been to, this location hands down has the best freshly made chicken. Crispy, hot, and actually fresh. Well here is an 7 Eleven which I would say is a quick stop and pick up Convenience Store which is located next to a car wash !! I usually come here for there slurpee and if I need something quick !!! It carries the things like Energy Drinks and Candy . Plus what other Convenience stores carry also !! It's mostly your normal 7 Eleven and The service here is subpar but if you need anything just for a quick stop then this is your spot !! I would compare it to Circle K but lot more locations around !! Also they do serve hot foods also such as hotdogs and Nachos !! Plus there coffee is ok here also !! I sometimes get it !! Just download there app and you can get specials also as you add up those points !! But parking is not good at this location as it shares with the Car Wash !! So, I came here after having the late night munchies, while staying at the hotel directly next door. I placed a bag of pretzels, a bag of pistachios, an iced tea, & some candy bars, I also requested several lottery tickets. I said "hi" to the EXTREMELY RUDE woman behind the counter. She was so rude!!!!! She never even responded with a simple Hello or even hi!!!! I continued choosing my many lottery tickets. She continued being RUDE!!!!! I was just ASSUMING she probably deals with a lot of undesirables, working at a 7-11 so late at night. I was a bit passive of this unprofessional behavior. Then when she was consistently being not only condescending but, outright disrespectful. I repeated my first statement of simply "Hello". She responded with "I already said it". Really?!?!?!?! That's how you treat a customer???? UGH! The professionalism is NON-EXISTENT here! She repeated "I already said it." It was then a match of wits. She may think she won. Because, after 3 back & forths of me saying hi, hello, & how are you.... She said she refused me service. HAHAHAHAHA I walked across the street to the gas station & purchased everything on my list for WAAAAAY less than 7-11 had it priced at! I asked the woman what her name was... She asked what my name was, I replied with my first & last names. She told me... "Good for you, I don't need to tell you my name." EXCUSE ME?!?!?!? Since, this is a 7-11, I doubt this review will reflect on the incoming business of this establishment since it is a convenience store. I just felt obligated to write about my experience! What was once a dusty field full of trash and weeds has now been magically turned into a new 7-Eleven store. Where dozens of tattered political signs and yard sale come-on's used to flap in the wind on a rusty chain-linked fence, there is now a new and vibrant 7-Eleven open for business. Having driven past this previously sorry corner many times, I can say it is surely a good thing that the Bay Park neighborhood has been blessed with a new and shiny convenience store. Used to be it was necessary to make the trek up Clairemont Blvd. to the top of the hill to buy a pack of smokes or a giant cold drink on a hot day. Worse, it might mean going over to busy Morena Blvd. to find some rolling papers or cheap pizza to go. Not any more. The latest area 7-Eleven has been open since the end of April 2016 and shares a parking lot with a new Washman Car Wash. Surely, the corner of Clairemont Dr. and Denver St, has certainly been revitalized by these 2 new businesses. I stopped at the Bay Park 7-Eleven today on my way to the bank and thought it to be very nice. I looked around and was impressed and bought some gum and Gatorade. However, I do need to deduct 1 YELP STAR due to a general feeling of confinement and lack of spaciousness. The 7-Eleven seems to be squished up in the corner of the property next to the Car Wash; almost as an afterthought. Despite this claustrophobic vibe, I could dig the store and am happy the many residents who live in the apartments, condos and homes in the area can enjoy the 7-Eleven convenience factor. 4 YELP STARS. read more

I've read the other reviews here and I agree that what they said pretty much sums it up. Customer service here is bad and the staff look miserable to be there. Recently there was expired gummy candy and they still keep it there. This place is always busy bc of the car wash outside so you would think this 7-11 would be up to par but it is not. I have been to this store a few times. Twice I have told the employee at the register that the Swedish fish and some of the gummies had expired months ago. When I went back to the store a few days after telling the employee about the expired candy, I was dismayed that the expired candy was still in the same place and hasn't been removed! This 7/11 is possibly one of the worst I've ever been to. On my most recent visit, I tried to purchase two coffee cakes under the assumption that they were on sale 2 for $1. The sign on the bakery case clearly says ALL BAKERY 2 for 1$, and in small print underneath it says "except muf" which I can only assume is missing letters and is meant to say "except muffins." Now, last time I checked, coffee cakes and muffins are different items, however the clerk was adamant that the sign only means that DONUTS are 2 for $1. I asked him, "doesn't the word ALL mean EVERYTHING?" He said "no, only donuts." I am disturbed by his appalling lack of customer service skills and his lack of understanding of the English language. This has not been my only issue when visiting this 7/11, so I can only give the lowest rating, 1-star. A competent clerk with even mediocre customer service skills would have conceded the point and followed the golden rule of "the customer is always right," which in this case would not have been a far stretch since I was merely asking for the deal clearly posted in their signage. I sincerely hope the owners of this location will discuss with their employees what EXACTLY their signage means, and how to handle disputes with customers in a polite and beneficial manner. I hope to avoid this location entirely in the future. I suggest anyone who reads this follows suit. FYI the TLDR -- ALL bakery items are NOT 2 for $1, no matter what the sign says. read more

I went in early today with my partner to get foam cups and i couldn't find any so I decided to get coffee cups right when the cashier saw me with the cups he gave me attitude in Spanish (I'm Mexican) so then he tells me they do have cups but didn't show me exactly where they were placed he just pointed I still couldn't find them so I got some other cups and he started talking shit until I found them hidden in the back ..it was the worst 711 I've been to not even the ones down south are this rude!! read more

I just witnessed my boyfriend get yelled at by an employee mopping the floors. She exclaimed "we're closed!" as he walked in to buy 2 waters for our road trip. Apparently the employee told him they have to close for 2 minutes while they mop the floors. What?? After 4 minutes my boyfriend refused to wait any longer and walked passed her as she purposefully held the mop across the door, tripping his stride. As I watched from our car, she stood there and watched as he took two waters from the refrigerator and presented them to the other employee at the register whom appeared to want nothing to do with the ridiculous rule her coworker was aggressively proclaiming. In the meanwhile other customers walked into the store and the rude employee holding her mop begins to huff and puff (watch the surveillance clip 7 eleven owner! ) and then tells off my boyfriend as he's walking out the store. She stands at the door still holding the mop, pulls her phone out from her back pocket as though "doing something" about us. This employee has no business treating customers this way. She clearly doesn't like people nor her job. This is a convenient store, open 24 hrs, is this closing for 2 minutes to mop and yell at customers for walking in when no sign suggests otherwise really a rule??? Absolutely terrible customer service by James. I walked in and greeted him with a kind "hello" and received a glare and a murmured "hi". I bought an iced tea, a bag of Lays and a Twix chocolate bar and I could tell James was judging my purchase. I'm a bit on the larger side, and I can tell when people are mocking my size. I asked him "Is something funny?" as I noticed his smirk and chuckle, and he responded "What, you think you're funny?". At this point I was done with him, and walked out of the store.
