Such a weird experience lol So my dad walks in and says "I want to do cash back" after grabbing a $1 item off their "sale rack"- just grabbing something to buy so he can do cash back (rather than paying an ATM fee). The workers say yes (to doing cash back) but you have to spend $2. I go to get a drink (to put it over the $2 amount) My dad paid with Apple Pay and said "there wasn't an option for cash back?" And the worker said "you have to insert your card for cash back" and a little surprised, my dad said "why didn't you tell me that before the purchase?" And the worker said "you didn't ask" Yet my dad was like "well the first words I said when I walked in here are "I need cash back" So then we ask to cancel / void the transaction and do a refund so he can insert the card and get cash back -- the only reason we came here. The worker said we can't do a refund on Apple Pay- you have to have used your card. My son was ripped off. He bought a gift card lesson learned he didn't get a receipt. Mind you every time one gets a gift card you're suppose to get an ACTIVATION RECEIPT. When my son tried to use the card it didn't work. So I drove back and he says buy another one and I'll give you a receipt. Mind blowing! I was like no shit! He said I can't do anything about it! Be careful using the ATM, I recently withdrew the money 2 days ago with the ATM inside this 7/11. Today, I got notification from my bank that someone tried to withdraw some cash using counterfeit card of my bank. Luckily they noticed me and blocked my card right away. 7-11 is a focused business. They are small; they sell certain items and they do a volume business. Because they are a convenience store they are not supposed to have the biggest selection or best price. But that's OK because shopping at stores like 7-11 when we need something quickly and it's too difficult to go to the grocery store or whatever other place we normally shop location because we need it now. The 7-Eleven is not any better or any worse than any others so generally what you expect to find you will find here. You there take care of what you are going to go on your way. Owner tries really hard, staff is untrained and clueless. Clientele is probably what they train to though. Prices not always accurate, two cashiers are not intelligible and rude when you ask for clarification as if you are insulting them instead of not understanding them (again probably the clientele they are used to dealing with). I was cut off in line three times and the staff did not care. Two things I bought did not make it into the bag and I was not willing to go back to ask for them. They earned 0-1 star however I gave it 2 stars because the owner tries hard and is affable, really wants it to do well. I will probably never return so my review will not matter but for those thinking of it I hope this helps. read more

Worst 7 eleven sad part it's in Tustin worst customer service there's this Hindu young lady she greets everybody with a big high but boy did she switch up quick I bought a hot dog and a drink I walk out and walk back in because I forgot the condiments so I'm looking for mayo and ketchup btw ketchup is old in a bottle that's almost empty mayo looked like it was starting to cake up from so old it was it look like mustard color why can't they just have individual packages oh!
