This was my fourth trip here, and unfortunately this trip left a bad enough taste that I don't think I'll be going back. Ive been here 3 times in the morning since they opened with their BOGO deals, and today I thought I'd go and pay the full price for a drink because that's how much they won me over! Every time previously I ordered the house coffee with no salt in the cream. Every time the cashier had to ask the back if they could do it, and came back saying yes. So I thought today would be the same. I'm understanding about businesses not wanting to customize or new employees not understanding some of these asks, but I specifically told the cashier that I wanted the cream but no salt. He insisted they can't do it, and I said I've gotten it before at least twice, but he still said they couldn't, but that he'd go ask and check for me. He came back and didn't say anything, just asked what size I wanted. I said normal, then noticed the "no cream" label in the register. He said nothing to me about not adding the cream - had I not been paying attention I would have not gotten the order I was expecting. By now a line was building up so I said I wanted cream, he said the back just said not to add the cream, and I said ok nevermind and walked out. If he had tried communicating with me when he came back I might've made a purchase but the way he handled it just left me feeling peeved. Sorry, but this is not good customer service. I drove 15 minutes to go there because of how much I loved their house coffee with no salt in the cream. If they can't figure it out why they mysteriously can't make it anymore, or communicate that to me, I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

I don't believe I will be coming back to this location any time soon. My in-store experience was pleasant and they were able to make my drink in a timely manner. However, my experience didn't end well after I received my drink. After receiving my drink, I didn't realize that the cup was not sealed correctly and completely, hence the majority of my drink spilled out. Fortunately, I placed my drink in my lunch bag so the mess was contained. But definitely not something I appreciated when I went to open my bag for my drink and food and found the mess. read more

Yessssssssss we Stan 7 leaves! I love that there are so many locations popping up! The app is super easy to order with. I ordered my drink on my way there and it was ready for pick up within 5 mins. Aesthetics of this store was cute and there's a small parking lot for you to stop and grab and go get your drink. My usual is always the mung bean milk tea, less ice, less sweet! read more

Wifi, good iced boba (not the hot one), and nice table/seating for working. They also open at 8 am , which is unique for milk tea spots.

Been to the other locations and all had great customer service. This location does not remake drinks if you are not satisfied. Friend ordered Assam Milk Tea ez sweet. That drink tasted like 125% sweet and she had informed them. The drink came out before her order was even complete. They said that it was the lowest sweetness, thus refusing to remake it or acknowledging her. The interior of the newest location is great though, good for studying! read more

Got here an hour after they opened! Their tote promo sold me! It was a now or never opportunity! Plenty of parking but not sure how it's like on weekends since I stopped by on a weekday. Not really new to 7 Leaves but their milk tea is above average! Had planned to get their mint sereno but no luck since they've just opened and will not have that for inventory until next week, so I got their oolong milk tea instead. Had to drop a star because I was told it would be a 20 minute wait for some fresh batch of boba being made, a 20 minute wait didn't sounded too bad. Terrible idea since my ticketed order was placed at 8:11AM and they didn't call my order until 9AM. If I had known how long I really needed to wait I would have skipped the boba toppings. I mean it was already an hour after opening, one would think they'd have boba set to go by the time I arrived. Tried the Sea Cream Jasmine Tea w/ boba for the first time and it was really good! The boba was suuuuper soft and chewy - probably one of the best I've tasted! The tea was also really good and it wasn't so sweet as I expected it to be. I normally adjust the sweetness level to 0 but in this case, they don't do it for this drink. One of my favorite boba spots ever! My family and I enjoy getting the Assam Milk Tea, Sea Cream Jasmine, and Sunset Passion. The employees are always super nice and willing to give recommendations for drinks. The cafe is also really comfortable and has peaceful vibes. Been going here for several years figured I'd finally write a review. 7leaves is one of my top 5 boba places because of their CONSISTENCY and milk teas. The workers all have a sense of urgency, perfect amount of customer service without being overly fake. And most importantly... the only boba shop that makes good MILK TEA and good VIETNAMESE COFFEE. Very very few boba shops or cafes do this combo where you know what you will get each time. Don't be fooled! They have ZERO leaves on the premises and are NOT a cafe. If you want soft drinks that have a little tea in them - presumably from a mix - you may enjoy it. If you're excited about their sea salt whip cream version of coffee, you might enjoy that. Disclaimer: this is regarding the grand opening day 1. In short, the email/messaging about the day was confusing. We went for a shot at the prizes but found out later on YELP only the first 100 people were eligible for the PS5. They also kept hyping up the free drink voucher which we didn't know until after we ordered that it's only valid AFTER both grand opening days for one month. We honestly are fans of 7leaves and came from the city but the mixed, deceiving messaging rubbed us the wrong way especially when we waited 4.5 hours. We got there at 10AM and the lady passing out the raffle numbers did not mention anything related to what would happen today and left everyone standing in line for hours. By the time they passed out the tote bag with free drink voucher in the bag, it was already 2.5 hours in and did not mention the voucher was valid AFTER both grand opening days. One of my favorite places to get a drink. The service is great and friendly. If you're not sure, they were kind to allow tastes. I really like the mung bean drink with boba. The only thing is that the lowest sweetness is still pretty sweet. If you need a non-caffeinated drink, the Strawberry Hibiscus is pretty tasty too. read more

My mom had one of the herbal teas with the aloe vera jellies and said it was good. I ordered the matcha tea with boba and it was delicious. Great location, very nice design/decoration inside and friendly cashier. The reason I'm removing a star is because I was told that they don't have any other non-dairy option besides soy milk. (No oat milk or almond milk when I asked). Also when I asked for no sugar, they said they can't do that. they have an "easy sweet" and other sweet options but weren't able to tell me how much sugar (% wise) they put in it. My friend and I looked for a place to have a refreshing drink after walking our dogs at the Los Gatos trail and this place was convenient. First of all, there is no outdoors sitting, not even a bench! When I asked if I could step in with my dog to take a closer look at the menu, they didn't let me. Not a Dog-Friendly place! So the two options are enjoy your drink indoors (not very safe with Covid variants still around) or take it with you. Secondly, I ordered the strawberry hibiscus and I rather have one from Starbucks! No flavor! Just iced water with sugar! I don't recommend this place! :( read more

Came during the opening on Sunday, as per previous reviews said, we had to pay for a drink today, but received a voucher for next time. The inside is super nice and the employees are amazing! I understand people were upset about the grand opening rules not being super clear, but i'd revisit the location, and don't think all of the negative reviews capture the whole picture. Was visiting the San Jose Area and was just lucky enough to be in the area of this 7Leaves and its grand opening! I had very high expectations going in as the last time I had 7Leaves was about 3 years ago. I remember getting the coffee and it was a perfect pick-me up that helped me drive the long 7 hour drive home. This time I got the Asssam Black tea with lighter sweetness. Waiting time was average and the service was as well. On first sips, my first notes were of a strong black tea. However it lacked any character as it was not earthy or had any freshness to it. I had already asked for lighter sweetness but I almost wished I asked for no sweetness as it took away from my appreciation of the steeped leaves. Now on to the atmosphere. I loved the green mid-century bucket chairs paired with the wood finished tables. Additionally the bathrooms were very clean and had some good vibes going in there as well. However, I did find the music to be too loud as it felt like I was straining my voice to talk to my friends. Overall, I would totally recommend this place to get your 7leaves fix! I would recommend asking for lower sweetness so that the flavors of the tea are more prominent! read more
