Got curry beef rice plate to go, wasn't what I was expecting but it is very tasty. Tastes like Singapore rice noodles.

Combination claypot this is my favorite on the menu.

One of my fave restaurant in the city I love there combo claypot and I always ordered it been coming here since 2018 during lunch time it's always a big rush weather dine in or to go order I usually come in around 1 so the rush already died down a little the service was good the sitting is fairly quick and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambiance of the place is welcoming[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

This place is definitely going to be one of my go to spots! This place is not too far from my work and I cannot believe this is the first time I'm coining here. If you love Asian food, you need to come eat here. I mean it's nothing fancy but the food is good and hits the spot! Came here with my co-workers and funny enough we ordered all the same things. The crispy pork chops with steamed rice or fried rice is bussin (very good)! I give that dish 5 stars! I'm pretty sure all the other dishes are great too. So the way it works is you can order at the counter or at your table. They serve you and then pay at the counter on your way out. The service is great, not a very long wait to get your food. The restaurant looks like a mini cafe but it can probably seat about 40 plus or minus. It's clean but it can get crowded a bit loud. So there's plenty to choose from in the menu. You better believe I'm coming back!

    Vegetarian Imperial Roll

TWO LUNCH DELIVERIES The first time I ordered food from this place for delivery I had the imperial rolls and salt and pepper pork chop. I ordered from this restaurant due to the salt and pepper pork chop. I prefer imperial rolls over egg rolls due to the filling isn't heavy. Also the imperial rolls aren't oily. The imperial rolls I ordered from 7 Mission Restaurant didn't disappoint due to the crispy outside and light filling inside. The salt and pepper pork chop on the other hand was a disappointment. I couldn't taste the contrast of the salt and pepper flavoring. In addition the tomatoes this dish had an aluminum tin can taste. I didn't consider ordering from 7 Mission Restaurant again, but I decided to give this place another try as it close to my work. About a week later I placed another delivery order. This time I ordered the BBQ pork chop rice place and chicken wings. The BBQ pork chop was more flavorful than the salt and pepper chop. I can taste the sweetness chariness of the caramelization and bitterness of the char. The pork chop was also moist. The chicken wings had a more salt and pepper flavoring than the salt and pepper pork chop. After two orders I enjoyed my lunch items I ordered. There was one bad item with salt and pepper pork chop, but the three other items were tasty. Overall I was satisfied with my two lunch deliveries.

I ordered Chicken Chow Mein from this restaurant through Doordash, but what I received was Chicken Fried Rice - and not just any fried rice, but a dish that was 95% rice and barely any chicken. When I called the restaurant to ask for a replacement, the man on the phone (who I assume was the owner) rudely told me it was my fault. He advised that I should have called ahead to confirm the dish was Chow Mein, despite the fact that the photo on Doordash clearly showed Chow Mein. He even blamed the misleading photo on a "user submission" and said he had no control over it. Funny enough, after I hung up, the photo was immediately removed from the listing, so clearly, he does have control. The owner's attitude was condescending and dismissive, showing zero accountability for the mistake. I've submitted a complaint to Doordash and am disputing the charge with my credit card company. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place. Terrible service, misleading menu, and awful customer support.

Combo claypot, crispy rice on bottom

$15 for claypot. Choices: combo, spareribs, or seafood. Combo has chicken, mushroom, chinesr sausage, 2 shrimp. Love the crispy rice on the bottom. One claypot per person. Yummy no need to add more soy sauce.

I doordashed the food and thought it was simply okay. The wings were not my favorite, they were a bit plain. The combo chow fun was decent. I would try this place again just because they have so many items to try.

    66. Sesame Chicken Rice Plate

The food was good, as well the service. Found the food to be savory and chicken meat quality was good. Portion are large so you can easily share, and pricing was affordable.I can see why many locals love coming here.

    Beef chow fun

They were only doing take out during the pandemic but are now open for dine in. Their beef chow is very good. They keep the door locked during the evening hours because of the neighborhood but let customers in.

Salt & Pepper pork chops over fried rice

There are not too many choices for lunch close to where I work. I work close to 7th and Bryant St. In SF. But, I do come to Seven and Mission restaurant (SF) almost religiously once every other week! Here are 3 of my favorite lunch items to get here: - Salt & Pepper pork chops over fried rice: chunks of deep fried goodness. Generous portions given on top of yummy fried rice - Beef and Egg (keto?)- I eat this when I want to eat light but don't want to sacrifice taste and falvir -Combo Claypot: reminds me of my Grandma's home cooking w/ different pleasing aromas. Lots of Umami mix of flavors with shrimp, chicken, Chinese sausage, green onions, onions, mushrooms. I like to just put a dab of Sricha sauce for extra flavor. The staff are very friendly and you should call in your order for pick up. No dine in at this time. No parking.

    Chicken and broccoli rice plate

Always walked by here after getting off of muni and thought that it was the day to go. So glad I did, I ordered the broccoli chicken rice plate and it was so good. Not super salty as sometimes these kind of dishes can be. The waiter was so nice and the food came out super quick (like 10 minutes maybe). My boyfriend ordered the special beef pho and that was also very good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This restaurant is off of mission so it is very loud outside but in the restaurant was pleasant and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would recommend stopping by and grabbing a bite to eat.

    2. Shrimp Salad Rolls
    Elaine S.

It's pretty satisfying for what it is. However the neighbor isn't the best and you have to order at a window and wait outside. Orange chicken - standard. Not as good as Panda Express tho Shrimp salad rolls. Idk why they called it shrimp salad. It's like the regular shrimp and pork rolls from a Vietnamese restaurant. These were fine and the rice paper was nice and soft. However there's an odd chemically aftertaste when you bite into it and the peanut dipping sauce tasted watery.

While we were waiting for our table, we saw 2-3 couples get turned away. The restaurant is small, but the interior is well-decorated. It pays homage to HK posters, music, and culture. They offer two complimentary small bites of smashed cucumber and peanuts. - XO Escargot: a must order, the dish only comes with 6 pieces but it's so worth it. The sauce is garlicky, buttery, and each bite with the milk bread is so good. The bread also has a crispy outer layer while the inside is super soft. - Eggplant: at first, we thought the dish was good, but the pieces on the bottom that soaks up all the sauce makes the eggplant full of umami flavor. This paired so good with rice. - Mapo Tofu Spaghetti: just as you imagine, but very yummy. I wish there was more of a numbing spice personally! - Black Pepper Steak: The steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare and the sauce was very yummy. This dish did not blow me away like some of the others but was still good nonetheless. I really wished we could have try the Singapore Chili Crab, but that would have been too much food. Our server was also fantastic and so kind, I wish I caught her name. Will def be back!

Nostalgic interior with posters of Canto celebrities on the walls and Chinese pop music playing in the background, but not to point where it was drowning out conversation. We had the fried rabbit (limited quantities), green beans, the claypot with Chinese sausage and bacon, the chili crisp pig head, escargot with XO sauce and milkbread, the fish fragrant eggplant (aptly named), the fried squab, the HK black pepper steak, and the abalone special over vermicelli. For dessert, we had the mango pudding, red bean shaved ice with culde de leche , and the huckleberry silken tofu. Like I said, we came hungry. We did struggle to figure out how to go about splitting the abalone over vermicelli amongst our group since everything was piled on a small abalone shell and not enough abalone to go around for everyone. The HK black pepper steak was very good and cooked perfectly medium rare, but wasn't a fan of the raw onions that accompanied it. Everything else was scrumptious! My parents would most definitely gawk at how much we spent on our meal, but I think overall it was worthwhile and I'm glad we got to try it.

(That sounded really snobby, I apologize ) Dim sum is comfort food for me, and 606 knocks it out of the park! Mongolian beef was excellent with a subtle kick to it, I didn't expect. Sesame balls and custard buns were nice sweet treats to wrap up the meal. Restaurant was bright, clean, and air conditioned. I'm dissappointed to write this review even after sleeping on it…read more My wife and I have gotten take out from 606 in the past and the style is a modern twist on Cantonese food. From the previous times we had take out I was satisfied. I really enjoyed their salted fish and chicken fried rice because the salted fish had a good amount of flavor. My college buddies were visiting and we all decided to grab dinner - we had a party of 6 including a baby. I recommended 606 because of how much I liked their dishes. It was pretty busy on a Friday evening around 6:30pm. It did take a while for our dishes to come out but I didn't mind that considering I was catching up with old friends. We ordered the green onion pancake, salt and pepper tofu/green beans, salt pepper pork chop, salt pepper chicken wings, salted fish/chicken fried rice, beef chow fun, simon's garlic chicken, and salt pepper fish. We were eating family style and it took about 20 mins or so before our first dish came. The first dish was the beef chow fun. I have to say, all of the dishes were SMALL! Going to a typical Chinese restaurant and eating family style, I expected big portions and leaving the restaurant stuffed and satisfied - I personally had none of this, I left hungry and not satisfied, I was contemplating getting a pizza or burrito nearby. The green onion crepes/pancakes we're small and not good - I had frozen options from Asian grocery stores that had more texture. The salt and pepper porkchops were small too! When I think of salt and pepper porkchops, I think of big and juicy porkchops with a crunch to them. The tofu/green beans order was basically all tofu - where the heck did all the green beans go! The PRICING on these dishes were expensive too - considering we were in Chinatown, similar Chinese restaurants in the area would have definitely fit my needs. Throughout our meal, our dishes came out randomly - we had ordered salt and pepper wings and they have completely forgotten about them even after reminding them we were missing the order. I decided to cancel it. The owner was nice enough gift us sesame seed balls for dessert and the salt pepper wings (the reason why I didn't leave a 1 star review). Honestly, the food and dining experience put a damper on my reunion with my close college friends and in the moment, I didn't put much thought into it but looking back the meal was underwhelming and I left VERY disappointed. Being an SF native, the dining experience feels touristy. I personally will not be coming back in person to dine or take out. There are plenty of other options available in Chinatown that offer more food and at a more affordable price.

My husband and I had an entree each and dumplings, as well as a drink each, and the bill was low considering the amount we had. We did have a reservation. It seems difficult to get a table without one. For our appetizer, we ordered the vegetarian mushroom dumplings. I am not usually a fan of mushrooms (I find the mushy texture unappetizing), but they cooked them perfectly crispy, and they were delicious. I was surprised to have the dumplings served with no sauce to accompany them, however, and did not get a chance to request any. I had the mapo tofu (vegetarian), and it was a decently large serving. It was delicious, and the sauce was perfectly seasoned. Their green onions were my favorite part. My husband got the Peking duck, and I had to steal one of the buns it came with--it was so soft. The food came out pretty quickly, and the staff was attentive overall. I had one slightly awkward interaction with a waiter who seemed a little impatient when I confused myself while ordering, but otherwise the service was great. For drinks, we had an espresso martini and a lychee martini, and they were delicious. Do beware that there is an automatic 18% gratuity added to every check. This is less than I usually tip, so it did not negatively impact my experience. It's a great spot to bring friends or for date nights. I will be returning!
