Good 85° store! This is one of my favorite chain bakeries. They have a great selection of food and very reasonably priced. The day I came in, it did not seem like it had as much food as the other chain bakery stores. But it was still very solid. The service was stellar and the ambience is great. It was clean and inviting.

The pastries are fantastic here! So airy and fluffy! The prices are reasonable, considering how good the sweet breads are. I actually found an Apple pie sweet bread my husband loved! Score! Everything is self serve except for the full cakes they offer behind the glass case. Beautiful cakes. They also offer coffee and boba. FYI: The bakery is CLOSED on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This place is busy and there are plenty of seating spots available. Service is offered at the counter. Was glad I was able to pay cash. The kid was also able to count back the correct change. Nowadays that's impressive! Most kids can't count back change. 85°C Bakery Cafe specializes in fresh bread baked every hour, over 60 different varieties of breads inspired by European, Asian and Danish trades. Handcrafted beverages made to order, every coffee order is made with freshly grounded espresso beans. Teas are brewed fresh. Beautiful Cakes are offered in the glass cabinet up front. July 2024

I stopped by for some breakfast on a Saturday. They were already super busy with customers inside and some waiting for pick up. There's tables inside and outside on the patio. Got some pastries and ordered drink in less than 10 mins. The drink took about 10 mins until I get it. I ordered the Taro Lavender Latte and it was really really amazing. If you are into sweeter drinks, definitely try this one!!! For pastries, I got the Garlic Cheese, Milk Pudding, Milk Tea Bun, and Choco Cream Cheese. My favorite is definitely the Milk Pudding bun and the Milk Tea bun. The filling was plenty and the bread was soft!

Back again for the coconut snow cubes, they are as delicious and creamy as always! Also got the fresh strawberry milk tea to help cool down in this heat, and this is always super sweet and refreshing! Will keep coming back :)

I always get the iced sea salt caramel coffee and it is consistent every single time. I crave this coffee because it is soo good! The staff try to work as fast as they can but there is some wait time. This place is usually crowded. Not many seats but well lit location.

I am in pastry heaven! Very clean and organized place, lots of choices and amazing drinks. I love that there's an app for points. The staff is very friendly and helpful if this is your first time in the store. Service is fast and the price is great.

I love 85's sweet and savory filled buns. Favorite includes their "Milk Pudding" & "Cheese Dogs". Hit or miss it's been with their tarts, so I'm not chancing it of the over-baked for now. This is my go-to 85 Bakery location recently. Glad that it's open on Mondays in conjunction with my Asian grocery shopping. A great lunch or afternoon snack their goodies make. CHEERS!

It is a busy place to go any time but specially on weekends. Good variety of breads, teas and coffees. Clean and organized place.

Is the frosting so sweet it gives you a headache, or are they nicely and professionally made?

The desserts there are actually the right amount of sugar. I was surprised myself trying a variety of them.

Will there be moon cakes for the new year?

Hi Mayra, yes we have mooncakes currently available from now until 1/29!

    Is this franchise pro-secession?

If you've had Somi Somi's fish-shaped taiyaki, these are similar but in my opinion, even better! Ordering is super easy using the self-service kiosk or by scanning the QR code, which takes you directly to the menu. This cute placed is owned by an incredibly sweet and young Korean couple. Every order is made fresh and when they present you your order, you can just tell that their bears are made with such love. They are so kind and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. The restaurant is cute with wooden tables and benches. Each table has a cup of conversation starter slips; a nice touch for keeping the convos going with friends. I ordered my go to drink--a Thai Iced Tea. I loved the option to control the sweetness and the amount of ice. I went with 50% sweet. The rich flavor of the Thai tea came through beautifully. I am determined to come back and try their Sweet Bear pastries. I love that they have a savory filling option among other sweet choices. They advertise that they are served warm and fresh, taking around 10-15 minutes to prepare, so order ahead if time is an issue. They have a kiosk order system but only one kiosk. I waited a bit because I missed the ordering QR codes posted literally everywhere to save the wait in line. Oops! My tea was out super fast. No complaints. The owners were super nice. I was greeted instantly and offered samples. I love that they have personalized the place with elements of their story. As others said, there isn't an obvious bathroom, so don't count on Sweet Bear for a post-dentist rescue. Otherwise, a wonderful experience!

Located among the shops and bars of historic downtown sits 1418 Coffee, a cute and genuinely great little shop that fits the area perfectly. Inside, the shop is fairly narrow but offers a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. I arrived with a friend a little before 11 am on a Sunday, and it was absolutely packed. A biking group was posted up outside, students were inside working on homework, even though most colleges have not started yet, and plenty of other patrons were taking their Sunday mornings easy. Despite having at least 10 to 15 people in front of us, the line moved pretty quickly. My friend who was more of a regular at the shop knew a lot of the staff and had convos with them. It feels like a little community! I ordered the Maple Sausage Croissant sourced from Sugar Loaf Bakery along with a hot Purple Haze latte made with lavender and vanilla syrup. My drink came out fairly quickly, and I thought it was great. It was well balanced and not overly sweet. As for the Maple Sausage Croissant, it was exactly what it sounded like, a maple sausage tucked into a croissant. I initially expected the croissant itself to be maple flavored, similar to a McGriddle, but it was still fresh and enjoyable. They had been keeping them warm in a heater throughout the morning, which definitely helped. I have stopped by 1418 Coffee a few times when visiting Dallas, and I plan to keep returning. They consistently do a great job and fit right into the charm of downtown Plano. RIYL: A warm haven in a beautiful downtown.
