One of my go to spots while in Vegas. Freshly made handroll place is hard to find where I live, so when I'm in Vegas, I have to hit up this spot. It also helps that they have my favorite sake as well. Hands down my favorite roll is their bay scallops. I can eat at least 10 of them with out any issues. But they aren't cheap, so it's usually a snack place for me than a complete meal. Their togo menu doesn't have handrolls, just traditional maki rolls. There is usually a line to get seated, but the service is quick. The food is consistent and always good.

Nice little spot in Cosmo for hand rolls. Came here for lunch on a Saturday and had to wait 20 minutes for seats to open up. I got the high roller set, which came with 5 hand rolls, and it filled me up enough. My favorite was the spicy tuna. It had little crunchy tempura flakes that complemented it well. Our friends said the lobster roll was their favorite. The prices are reasonable by Vegas sushi standards.

A great spot on the Vegas strip for a quick but delicious bite! The salmon and yellowtail hand rolls were tasty and used fresh fish. Since they are made to order, if you eat them quickly, the seaweed wrapping is still crispy, making it the perfect texture contrast to the soft fish. They also offer takeout rolls, but I love eating freshly made hand rolls for the seaweed. It's conveniently located inside the Cosmopolitan hotel, and has bar seating for a casual bite. Service was quick, and the sushi chef was very friendly! Of course, it's a little on the pricier side being in Vegas, but it's comparable to other restaurants in the area, and serves higher quality food.

My god I love this place. I'm a salmon only type of girl and this just HITS. This is my second time visiting and it's just as good as I remember the first time being. Their salmon is like pure butter. No fishy taste, just butter. The first time I was here, I tried their handroll set but if I'm being honest, just give me 5 salmons and I'm good. It was brought to my attention from a friend that I "didn't eat it properly" because the special sauces weren't ordered, so I guess I'll have to come back again soon :P I appreciate them giving you the handroll as fresh as possible so you're not wrestling the seaweed with your mouth. Service is always quick and the workers have always been very sweet! Coming during off-dinner off-lunch time seems to be the move if you're impatient!

This place is located inside the Cosmopolitan casino second floor. First impressions was the place is open and lively. It's just bar seating so we had to wait 10 minutes to be sat. The service was okay, I didn't really felt like they were trying to interact and were looking busy just to not tend to us. I like the personal vibes but we had to personally call them a couple times when we needed anything. They didn't really ask how the food was. My husband didn't even have wasabi just ginger when we sat down. The food was delicious. We ordered the high roller and foursome and the bay scallop was our favorite! It was pricy in my opinion but I mean whenever you dine in a casino I guess that's what you expect. I also ordered the nitro matcha green tea and I assumed it was alcoholic but I was wrong and got a sake shot with it (great paring). I enjoyed the company and food so that's a win in my book.

Tekka Bar: Handroll & Sake is an absolute must-visit in Vegas for sushi lovers. The Toro hand roll was outstanding;incredibly fresh, rich, and buttery. Every bite was honestly a mouthful of joy. The quality of the fish and the crisp texture of the hand roll made it hard to stop at just one. Pairing the rolls with an ice-cold beer and sake was the perfect combination and elevated the whole experience. Great vibe, friendly staff, and some of the best hand rolls I've had in Vegas. I'll definitely be back!

Fresh and delish. Excellent fish to rice ratio. Shoutout Jesus for excellent service! Love this spot for a quick bite!

High Roller Set - Scallop I think? Ignore the dirty paper. Not sure why I wasn't using the plate lol

3.8.26 - met up with some friends on the last day here last month. We had a group of 5. There was a bit of a wait around noonish but it wasn't too bad. I ordered the Highroller Set which came with salmon, yellowtail, bay scallop, blue crab and spicy tuna. I believe this set was $42-45? The sushi chef forgot which ones he already gave me so Im not sure if I received all 5. I was distracted so I was unsure too and may have missed a photo of one. The rolls were good but I would have like to see toro included in that set. I do see in past menu photos that it used to be included. While this spot wasn't bad, I feel like I liked the other spot more. Chefs were cool and friendly though and tried to accommodate us by adding a stool on the side since all bar seats were filled!

The food was delicious. I had the spicy tuna, yellowtail, and toro handrolls, served with soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger. I love sushi, and their spicy tuna handroll was the best of the three I had. Everyone working here was super attentive without being overbearing. The service was very fast. I sat at the bar, but I also saw several people get their to-go orders quickly. It feels best suited for 1-2 people. Overall, it came to about $40 with tip, which felt reasonable for Las Vegas. It's located in the Cosmopolitan food court, which is noisy but not unbearable.

Came here after landing and it was a short wait and well worth it! I got the high roller set and every single handroll was made fresh infront of you and you can tell how fresh the fish they use is! Its in the food court in the Cosmo and its such a vibe if youre looking to grab something before going out and drinking!

Convenient, fast and quality is on point. Opted for the threesome with a sub of the red tuna with crab. One pays for the difference. It's delicious. Service is attentive. I adore the simplicity and freshness. Would dine here again in an open food hall for a quickie on sushi.

Conveniently placed at cosmos food court, tekka bar is easy to find. It was a bar seating where you can watch the chef make your hand roll. I opted for the high roller set which came with salmon, yellowtail, blue crab, scallop, and tuna ($41) The fish was fresh and if you eat the roll right when it's made, it has the perfect crisp from the seaweed. Surprisingly my favorite roll was the yellowtail which had some small pieces of pickles. It enhanced the flavors of the fish and seasoning so well. I was pretty disappointed in the scallop however. Bay scallop is usually my favorite roll to get but for some reason it was rly fishy here. I would pass on the scallop hand roll next time. The sauce ($3) is a MUST. Especially the green yuzu sauce, best thing ever. It complements the hand rolls so well and gives it that extra freshness! service was quick and the hand rolls come out pretty fast. A bit pricey for 5 rolls but it's Vegas and on the strip so I cant complain too much.

Still yum and good but like everything else the price has gone up with the times. The threesome is $24 which was same price as foursome two years ago. We tried something new, the Alaskan King Crab $19 and omg it was delicious. Such a splurge for us and is more of a one time bite so just go for it if you're visiting Vegas. Also make sure to get the $3 special spicy sauce, the red side was the best!

Chef Shuji runs the restaurant with his wife next to him in the kitchen. The fish here is flown in from Japan and of the highest quality as you can see from the sheen and fat marbling. The tuna melts in your mouth and bite after bite is a wonderful experience as you pair it with soy sauce, fresh Wasabi, yuzu Wasabi, or some combination of the condiments provided. This is also the first sushi restaurant I have ever been to that automatically brings out fresh Wasabi without having to ask. The portions are generous and we left feeling very satisfied. Even though we were very full, we took a look at the dessert menu. Not pictured here is a sweet potato with ice cream and brown sugar glaze. This dish on the menu was unassuming but the taste was so decadent. Quite possibly the best and sweetest sweet potato I have ever tasted. The chef slowly roasts them over a 2 hour period, rotating the potatoes every so slightly every 15 minutes. The sweet potato could be a dessert by itself, it was that good! Chef Shuji is a charming and funny host. He regularly comes out to greet his customers and makes sure they are enjoying their meal, very high-touch. If you know Japanese - even if it's just a few phrases, speak with him as he will be delighted. He was absolutely tickled when we said arigato and he shared that he is originally from Kyoto.
