A great place for a quick and refreshing bite of food. Located in cosmopolitan with bar seating. Got the high roller set and wow it didn't disappoint. All the flavors, tender fish, and variety of food was too good. I was also drawn to the matcha nitro on tap which is the first I've ever seen. The matcha is unsweetened and you really get that tea flavor. You get the roll after each one you finish.

Love this place. Prices are fair considering we're in a Las Vegas food court. I like that they offer takeout sushi rolls but it's not as amazing as a fresh handroll. The fish is fresh and pleasantly seasoned. Seaweed is crunchy when given. Service is super quick. The sushi chefs are super friendly. I love how quick the servers serve you and the atmosphere the sushi bar creates. Love you Tekka Bar. See you next trip.

One of my go to spots while in Vegas. Freshly made handroll place is hard to find where I live, so when I'm in Vegas, I have to hit up this spot. It also helps that they have my favorite sake as well. Hands down my favorite roll is their bay scallops. I can eat at least 10 of them with out any issues. But they aren't cheap, so it's usually a snack place for me than a complete meal. Their togo menu doesn't have handrolls, just traditional maki rolls. There is usually a line to get seated, but the service is quick. The food is consistent and always good.

A great spot on the Vegas strip for a quick but delicious bite! The salmon and yellowtail hand rolls were tasty and used fresh fish. Since they are made to order, if you eat them quickly, the seaweed wrapping is still crispy, making it the perfect texture contrast to the soft fish. They also offer takeout rolls, but I love eating freshly made hand rolls for the seaweed. It's conveniently located inside the Cosmopolitan hotel, and has bar seating for a casual bite. Service was quick, and the sushi chef was very friendly! Of course, it's a little on the pricier side being in Vegas, but it's comparable to other restaurants in the area, and serves higher quality food.

Had to grab some lunch while at a conference here at the Cosmo. Saw that they had Yellowtail my favorite so I dropped in. It's a walk up bar. Quickly ordered and served. Delicious . Wasn't too crazy of a price either being on the strip. Decent size portion. Very unique dining experience. It's a bar style seating.

My god I love this place. I'm a salmon only type of girl and this just HITS. This is my second time visiting and it's just as good as I remember the first time being. Their salmon is like pure butter. No fishy taste, just butter. The first time I was here, I tried their handroll set but if I'm being honest, just give me 5 salmons and I'm good. It was brought to my attention from a friend that I "didn't eat it properly" because the special sauces weren't ordered, so I guess I'll have to come back again soon :P I appreciate them giving you the handroll as fresh as possible so you're not wrestling the seaweed with your mouth. Service is always quick and the workers have always been very sweet! Coming during off-dinner off-lunch time seems to be the move if you're impatient!

This place is located inside the Cosmopolitan casino second floor. First impressions was the place is open and lively. It's just bar seating so we had to wait 10 minutes to be sat. The service was okay, I didn't really felt like they were trying to interact and were looking busy just to not tend to us. I like the personal vibes but we had to personally call them a couple times when we needed anything. They didn't really ask how the food was. My husband didn't even have wasabi just ginger when we sat down. The food was delicious. We ordered the high roller and foursome and the bay scallop was our favorite! It was pricy in my opinion but I mean whenever you dine in a casino I guess that's what you expect. I also ordered the nitro matcha green tea and I assumed it was alcoholic but I was wrong and got a sake shot with it (great paring). I enjoyed the company and food so that's a win in my book.

Nice little spot in Cosmo for hand rolls. Came here for lunch on a Saturday and had to wait 20 minutes for seats to open up. I got the high roller set, which came with 5 hand rolls, and it filled me up enough. My favorite was the spicy tuna. It had little crunchy tempura flakes that complemented it well. Our friends said the lobster roll was their favorite. The prices are reasonable by Vegas sushi standards.

High Roller Set - Scallop I think? Ignore the dirty paper. Not sure why I wasn't using the plate lol

3.8.26 - met up with some friends on the last day here last month. We had a group of 5. There was a bit of a wait around noonish but it wasn't too bad. I ordered the Highroller Set which came with salmon, yellowtail, bay scallop, blue crab and spicy tuna. I believe this set was $42-45? The sushi chef forgot which ones he already gave me so Im not sure if I received all 5. I was distracted so I was unsure too and may have missed a photo of one. The rolls were good but I would have like to see toro included in that set. I do see in past menu photos that it used to be included. While this spot wasn't bad, I feel like I liked the other spot more. Chefs were cool and friendly though and tried to accommodate us by adding a stool on the side since all bar seats were filled!

The food was delicious. I had the spicy tuna, yellowtail, and toro handrolls, served with soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger. I love sushi, and their spicy tuna handroll was the best of the three I had. Everyone working here was super attentive without being overbearing. The service was very fast. I sat at the bar, but I also saw several people get their to-go orders quickly. It feels best suited for 1-2 people. Overall, it came to about $40 with tip, which felt reasonable for Las Vegas. It's located in the Cosmopolitan food court, which is noisy but not unbearable.

Tekka Bar: Handroll & Sake is an absolute must-visit in Vegas for sushi lovers. The Toro hand roll was outstanding;incredibly fresh, rich, and buttery. Every bite was honestly a mouthful of joy. The quality of the fish and the crisp texture of the hand roll made it hard to stop at just one. Pairing the rolls with an ice-cold beer and sake was the perfect combination and elevated the whole experience. Great vibe, friendly staff, and some of the best hand rolls I've had in Vegas. I'll definitely be back!

Came here after landing and it was a short wait and well worth it! I got the high roller set and every single handroll was made fresh infront of you and you can tell how fresh the fish they use is! Its in the food court in the Cosmo and its such a vibe if youre looking to grab something before going out and drinking!

Even more impressive was that hot items came out very, very quickly. Matthew, my server was a cool laid-back guy who was super attentive. Everything he recommended was great! And he checked on almost everything I ordered! Something else impressive was how quickly they clean cleared and reset the tables. It was a team effort. Everyone who was in the restaurant serving or busing helped replace the items on the table. It was very cool to see. I have to mention Cassie, the first and last person I talked to. She greeted me at the door with a happy smile, asked if this was my first time and kindly recommended a lot of wonderful items when explaining the menu. On the way out she thanked me for coming. We decided to sit at the sushi bar, which turned out to be a great choice. It gave us the opportunity to interact with the chef and watch him prepare everything right in front of us. You could immediately tell how talented and experienced he was just by watching his knife skills and the care he put into every dish. We started with the Albacore Tuna, cut into six beautiful slices. It was incredibly tender and practically melted in our mouths. It was so good that we ate it before we even thought about taking a picture! I ended up finding a photo of it on TARU's website because it deserved to be included. Next, we had a Salmon Roll, and then we decided to put ourselves in the chef's hands and asked him to make us a Chef's Surprise. He prepared a beautiful plate featuring four different types of fish, and this time we remembered to take a picture! Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. To finish the evening, the chef surprised us with a dessert of fresh oranges with a touch of liqueur. It was light, refreshing, and the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. What really made the evening memorable was the combination of excellent sushi and the personal experience at the sushi bar. Our chef was cordial, engaging, and clearly very talented at his craft.
