I was driving through Oxnard on my weekend road trip when my tire pressure warning light came on. I'm traveling with my grandbaby and decide to stop at this location. It was a Thursday late afternoon and the place was packed with cars and people waiting. I pulled into the narrow parking lot and flagged down an employee. He told me to park and a few minutes later he returned telling me he checked me in. About 20 minutes later he directed me to pull into a small area. I pulled in and in 3 minutes my truck was on a Jack and tire removed. A few minutes later he came back and put my tire back on. Turns out the air nozzle thingy was a little jammed. It was checked and filled about 2 hours prior during my oil change at another location. The nice man did not charge me and sent me on my way. I tipped him and thanked him for being such an awesome employee and an awesome place. Don't turn away because it looks busy. There are so many employees that the time goes by quickly. Came to this spot the other day for a flat tire repair. I paid $12. I came here because the other repair place had a 2 hour wait, AV told me it'd be 30 minutes, so off I went. I arrived and about 45 minutes later my car was fixed. They also suggested a brake replacement but didn't get pressured to purchasing. We're looking into getting that done later too. After being turned down then attempted to be upsold on a whole new set of tires by a reputable shop in Ventura, I went to A&V Tire to remove existing tires on stock rims over to new aftermarket rims(just a half inch wider than stock). I arrived to A&V at 11am on a Saturday and they were busy, for a reason. I told Armando what I needed and he promptly replied he could get it done in just 1 hour. Before I could get back to my open trunk to unload, he already had one of his techs unloading for me. Talk about awesome customer service. I returned a little over an hour later and all 4 stock rims were carefully set aside along with my new rims and swapped tires. I have black powder coated rims and not a single mark after the install. I couldn't believe how quick the work was completed including balancing. I can't say enough good things about how well I was treated along with the professional install. Elsa was great. I had a punctured trailer tire at Thornhill Broome Campground in Malibu. Luckily, I discovered the flat as I arrived. I called AAA thinking that they could replace the the tire and realized I didn't have trailer coverage. Instead I would have to pay $100 out of pocket. I decided to do it myself. I ended up going to harbor freight in oxnard to buy a jack. I went to A&V where they patched it up in under 30 minutes. Lesson learned here is to have trailer coverage with AAA. Just in case, also have a jack, break bar, tire tool, and torque wrench. read more

My tire sensor was showing 28 psi . I called them to see if they could check out my tire. They were very welcoming over the phone and listened to my concerns and welcomed me to come in. They are clutch every time I need a tire. I have gone there numerous times because of a nail in my tire of something random with my tire and they pull through each time. I recently had a rental car that had a huge nail in the side of the tire that couldn't be patched and they had a perfect used tire that they swapped it with for a really low price. I had to change my review from 5 stars to 3 stars because although my first experience here was excellent my second was not. I'm not an expert on cars by any means, but I knew what I wanted. The man who assisted me was very short with me. I was looking for black rims and showed him what I was looking for, they didn't have anything in my size so he said they could order them for me. I said that was fine. He would send me pictures of rims and I would tell him which ones I liked then he would call me and tell me they weren't available and send me more pictures. All this time, I was asking for black rims when we agreed on a set of rims, he ordered them. When I got there, the rims were chrome. I had asked for black. He said said that he would contact me when he got black rims and I never heard from him again. It's been about 3 months and I'm still waiting. Smh! read more
