Our first time at A PCH won't be our last. Visited for my husband's birthday dinner and got seated right against the glass patio wall. Within a few minutes, our drinks and started had been ordered (our starter was noted to take extra time). And by the time drinks arrived, we put in our entrees. Everything we ate and drank was outstanding. Beautifully plated and vibrant in color and flavor, it was a truly exceptional meal. And the drinks were very tasty. And dessert - delicious. Definitely plan to come back for a weekend brunch! One thing to note - restaurants at 2nd & PCH do not validate parking, and only the first 90 minutes are free.

I came here for happy hour and views, and I was not disappointed. I think this is a great place for a happy hour dinner date before shopping around with your friends at the 2nd & PCH plaza. I got squash blossoms, two orders of spicy tuna, whipped ricotta with fresh pita, octopus, and a pizza. Everything was simple, but well done.  I enjoyed everything with a couple of cocktails, which were all delicious as well. A PCH is definitely on the pricier side, but it's super worth it during Happy Hour.

The covered patio with the view of the marina is so great! It's such a nice spot for a weekend brunch. I am happy you can make reservations, as I'm sure this place gets busy often. I went that a group of friends and we share a lot of the plates. The appetizer fish tacos and the cheese board were really good! And sparkling wine bottles were half off.

Friend and I came for lunch after a glowing review from a friend who loved their chicken pot pie which is only available Monday and Tuesday. They have a lunch menu that has an appetizer, main course and dessert. We both had the delicious Caesar salad. Hanger steak with fried was next. Fries were so yummy and steak had a lot of flavor and cooked perfectly. Marshmallow ice cream was last and the description on the menu didn't make me think it would be good. Wrong assumption. It was delicious with a caramel sauce. Service was excellent. Can't wait to try it again.

Back here for a second visit, but this time we stopped by just for the bar. Seating is first come, first served, and it was fairly packed on a Saturday evening, though we were still able to find two seats without too much trouble. The bar area itself looked great and felt spacious, making it a comfortable place to sit and unwind despite the crowd. I ordered the Gin Blossom, while my partner got a vodka-based drink along with a Long Island Iced Tea. The bartenders were friendly and welcoming, and the drinks were made well and tasted great. We only stopped in for a quick drink and snack, but overall, it was a solid and pretty standard experience at A PCH. A nice spot if you are looking for a casual drink in a good atmosphere.

Celebrated a friend's birthday on Saturday. The restaurant is beautiful inside and out. Our party of three was seated in a comfortable booth. There are huge areas for large groups. Beautiful view but bring a jacket if you get cold easily. Cocktails were tasty and served promptly. Two of us shared the Crab Cobb Salad and the 3rd enjoyed all of the sea bass. We ordered fresh baked bread, truffle fries and duck fat hasbrowns. Everything tasted fresh. Cob salad is too large for one person (in my opinion). My friend loved the sea bass. Fries were average as were the has browns. My friend was giving ice cream for her birthday and we ordered the cornbread Madeline's. Our server was friendly and attentive. She said she wasn't too familiar with working the brunch shift but she did a great job!

Squash Blossoms - 5 Bone Marrow - 5 Muscles- 5 Chix Piccata- 5 Pork Chop - 5 Service - 5 Ambiance - 5 Fist time here and I was impressed. Great combinations and flavors. Best pork-chop I've had in a long long time from a well seasoned grill. Subtle nutty / smoked / char taste. The chop bone was thee best part!! Chix piccata was flavorful. Nice ocean view & breeze!! Only regret is not getting the mac & cheese with the chop... next time! Laura recommended replacing the mashed potatoes w/ pepe ecacio awesome recommendation! Will be back to try the pot pie!! Good job guys!!

Came back a second time and it was still as good as the first! Service is great! This time discovered a noteworthy dish, the chicken piccata (definitely upgrade to the pasta!). If I had one complaint, they need to clean the floors, maybe it was a busy day, but there were so much food debris on the floors.

As much as I would have liked to give this place five stars, our experience was disappointing from the very beginning. We had reservations for 8:00 p.m. When we checked in, the hostess told us that the party at our table had until 8:30 p.m. to finish. This was never communicated to us beforehand which they said was noted they did, the hostesses were very nonchalant about the situation instead of offering a better solution. They eventually seated us, but it was all the way in the back of the restaurant where we had to ask for the candles and fire place to be lit Because of that, it took a while for our server to get to us, and our drinks took longer than expected to arrive. That said, our waitress was absolutely amazing, friendly, attentive, and the highlight of our visit. She provided excellent service despite the circumstances and definitely deserves five stars. As we were getting seated, the hostess asked if we had been informed that they were having issues with their roof and that their barbecue was out of service. We had not been told anything about this prior to arriving. As a result, the menu was extremely limited, with no steaks or burgers available. This was especially frustrating because those were the main reasons our group chose this restaurant. Had we been notified ahead of time, we would have appreciated the opportunity to decide whether we still wanted to dine there or make reservations elsewhere. To make matters even more disappointing, we were there celebrating my birthday. It seemed like the restaurant either forgot or there was a miscommunication, because the birthday dessert wasn't brought out until after we had already received the bill. It made the celebration feel like an afterthought, which was disappointing on what was supposed to be a special occasion. Overall, the service from our waitress was outstanding, but the lack of communication and poor handling of the situation by the host staff really impacted our experience. The fancy pizza was average (3 stars), chicken piccata was great (5 stars), while the appetizers were good (4 stars) and the wines by the glass were very overpriced coming from someone in the wine business. Unfortunately, the disappointing start, limited menu, and overlooked birthday celebration made this visit fall far short of our expectations.

This place has top notch service. Food is perfectly made and the restaurant has nice ambiance. I've had the oysters and steaks (Ribeye) because I missed the pot pie day, and I wasn't disappointed, nice crust and buttery, melt in your mouth bites. My wife and I made it back for the pot pies and I would give it 4 of 5 stars, wish there was more filling, the crust was delicious and filling though. Flaky and croissant like. I had Old Fashion and my wife had wine. It's pricey but worth it, we will be back on a different date night.

This was such a beautiful restaurant. It felt kind of hidden in the corner but lavish interior compliments the gorgeous view of the ocean. They also have a photobooth inside. The drinks we ordered were pretty but honestly very strong. The food came out rather quickly. I would say the standout was the Brussel Sprouts, as they were crispy and seasoned to perfection. Would gladly come here again!

We ended up ordering the fondue for the app (24.00) which comes with bite size pieces of bread and diced apples. It was ok, a little too runny and had an interesting hint of beer flavor. Next up we both ordered the brie & prosciutto sandwich which came with a side of au gratin and greens. The sandwich was excellent but the potatoes were cold. We ended our meal sharing creme brulee for dessert. It was good but also served cold. Total bill incl tip: 163.00 bucks (double ouch)! Overall, meal and service was good, but I would forego the wine on a future visit as it was way overpriced for the brand we got as well as the cheese fondue. Will definitely be back though. The menu has a ton of really detailed options, each drink with its own depth. The menu changes seasonally but what doesn't change is the smoked old fashioned - a must-order. They smoke your drink in a glass container using applewood chips; it's quite a show and it also does make the drink much more enjoyable. Ask the bartender and they can also help guide you to a drink - I've done it a couple of times and always pleasantly surprised. Next up, the food! The hummus was very flavorful and paired with an amazing fluffy pita bread. The truffle fries were solid but the plate was HUGE, definitely needs a friend to share. The Nashville wings are the star of the show. I cannot stress this enough, this is worth a DRIVE for. The seasoning really does remind you of Howlin' Rays (the highest compliment) and the chicken is extremely crispy yet insanely juicy. The pickles and ranch that it comes with pairs so well. Do note that they are tossing it in pork fat, which enhances the depth but also makes it a little greasy at the end. I also wished they'd warn you this and offer to order it without it; especially for those who don't eat pork or for those trying to cut some calories. There's a happy hour menu too!!! So you can get drinks and food even cheaper. I cannot stop thinking about this place. It's such a sleeper. Head to Midnight Oil after a visit to continue your night.

The breading was average and the sweet chili aioli was poor. I asked for ranch instead, which was an improvement but still not great. The portion itself was fine. Service was solid and friendly! I'd rate the staff around a 4. Based on the food I had, the kitchen lands closer to a 2.5 to 3. Fine if you're already in the hotel and want something casual, but not an amazing choice for the fried seafood.
