This place is a cute little hidden gem off of 380 in McKinney! The lobster ravioli is my favorite! The taste of Italy is also a nice option if you can't decide on just one entree, you get a little taste of 3 different things. The rolls are soft and delicious too! All the staff is so nice and helpful. They greet you with a smile! The ambience nice romantic but casual place! They have a cute patio too! Definitely recommend. I get a lot of food to go from here & still fresh and delicious when I get home!

We had been meaning to try this place ever since it opened, and it was a bit of a letdown. The decor is nice, but the dining area seemed a bit small. They took up a significant portion of the dining room with a bar. Our server was uber-friendly! As for the food.....meh. The pizzas were greasy.. you couldn't pick up slices because the crust was soggy. The sampler appetizer was decent, but not generous on their portions for a "shareable". My daughter had the Philly cheesesteak, but said it wasn't as good as our usual cheesesteak place. I was pleased that they offered veal parmigiana, but again....small portion and the veal was fatty/chewy. Seasoning and sauce were ok. Not great. I don't think we will return.

We stopped by A Roma for lunch and had a really great experience. The service was just as good as the first time, attentive from the moment we walked in. We appreciated that there was open seating as that made everything feel relaxed and easy. The ambiance was just what we needed, calm and peaceful, which I personally loved. It's a nice spot if you want to enjoy your meal without all the noise and chaos you sometimes get during lunch hours. We ordered the lobster ravioli and Jordan's pizza, both of which were fresh, flavorful and served hot. The pizza had a nice crisp crust and balanced toppings. We also tried the trio appetizer sampler, which was a nice option to share, but I do wish it had been cooked just a bit longer for a better texture. Overall, A Roma cured my pasta obsession and offered great service!

We've been here a few times the service is always great atmosphere is relaxing we love the food we're working on our way to the entire menu the food is always hot and fresh this is definitely in our rotation for Friday night dinner

Our waitress Emily was super kind and helpful with the menu and recommended the shrimp and lobster rigatoni, it was incredible, Emily was amazing and the food was awesome

Really good food! Family friendly yet upscale. Nice well stocked bar. Owners are very friendly.

The bruschetta at this restaurant is a work of art. Almost as great as the Salmon Piccata and almost as great as the A+ friendly, efficient, welcomming Service!

My husband and I visited for the first time a couple of weeks ago and were offered a preview of the lobster ravioli and lobster on the half shell, which would be on the Valentines Day Menu. I decided to take a chance on the dish and it was delicious! I'm writing this as I'm leaving the restaurant on Valentines Day. I ordered the lobster again and it was just as good as the first time! That doesn't always happen in restaurants. The hostess greeting us at the door was gracious and welcoming at both visits. Both waitresses Alyssa B and London were attentive and pleasant. The owner was present and welcoming. I think we've found a new favorite here in McKinney!

Its definitely not a place I would bring a huge group to, however its perfect for a date night or a group up to 6. They start you with complimentary house baked sourdough with balsamic vinegar and olive oil for dipping. It was delicious! We had the mussles in their red sauce as an appetizer. I don't like mussels...or so I thought! They red sauce was really good with lots of herbs, and the mussels didnt have a fishy scent or taste. Our waitress Brooklyn was so sweet! She recommended the chicken marsala to me and I am glad she did! It was sooo good and I have never had a marsala sauce quite like that. My husband had a seafood fettuccine and thought it was great! We ordered the big pig pizza, Italian sub, Chicken Alfredo, house salad and Cesar salad for dinner and one of each deserts.... The pizza- great flavor on all toppings, crust and sauce. Suggestion- not enough sauce and could've been cooked a smidge longer. I'm ok with blistered crust and mild char on the bottom. 1-5 I'd give the pizza a 4. A tad more sauce (great sauce) and another minute in the oven! The Italian Sammy....dang good! One of the better ones I've had. I will order it again on next visit. The Alfredo was fresh, creamy, chicken was great, asparagus perfect. Nicely done. The salads were both fantastic. My wife had the house with house dressing and loved it. I shared a Cesar which I'm not usually a fan of but I LOVED this one! The desert- hello blueberry cheesecake shut the front door Becky get in my belly!! The lemon cake- money! The house Manhatten was delicious with subtle adjustments to the traditional recipe. The Arancina Tradizionale is a fried ball of tasty saffron rice, stuffed with Bolognese and peas. Its a great appetizer with lots of subtle flavors. As an entree I had the Cacio E Pepe, the famous pasta prepared in a wheel of pecorino cheese and covered in fresh ground black pepper. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the cheese was creamy and mild, and the pepper nicely balanced the richness with a mild spice. I ordered shrimp on the side and it was well seasoned and nicely charred. My wife had the geilled salmon and loved it. We didn't really have room for dessert, but since everything else was so good, we couldn't resist trying the Tiramisu and Strawberry panna cotta. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. The cagliaritana had the PERFECT ratio of ingredients and the crunch on the pizza was unreal. Everything tasted and smelled insanely fresh. The Caesar was loaded with freshly shaved parm and somehow tasted way better than a Caesar salad has any right to. I think the croutons were also homemade? Perfect! The small three cheese pizza was also perfect -- great crust, great sauce-to-cheese ratio, and honestly the perfect size to split with someone alongside a salad. But the TNT panini?? Holy crap. The second you unwrap it, the smell of the garlicky focaccia hits you immediately. And the pink sauce was some of the best I've had. The tiramisu was also the perfect sweet ending to the meal. It wasn't overly sweet and soggy like most in this area. Cannot wait to try the cannolis! After years of searching for real Italian food, I finally feel like I found it. Fresh ingredients, amazing flavor, and genuinely kind people. The owner (or who I believe was the owner working the front) was so friendly, accommodating, and transparent about timing.
