They provided more movers for the hourly cost than the other two companies and were available. Darlene was kind and amazing, and thorough in asking questions about furniture, packing, pets, and exercise equipment. Things I didn't even consider! Day of the move (Saturday after Thanksgiving) Ryan, Santos, Mario and Amir showed up on time, carefully wrapped all of our furniture with either blankets or plastic wrap. The asked questions about where things should go, and questions about how to assemble or disassemble things. This is our third move, and we are not as young as we were with our last move. We had to make two trips, but it was still within budget. Next move, I'll call them again, and pay for packing (which we thought we could do on our own in our 50s!) What I thought would be a simple 5-hour move ended up taking over 9 hours. While the duration was unexpected, I attribute it to the long walks from my four storage closets to the elevator. Even though the day grew long and the physical toll was evident, the guys stayed honest and worked the entire time. The Good: Only one minor damaged item out of an entire household. Zero damage to the walls/floors of either apartment. The team was incredibly kind, making it impossible to stay frustrated. They offer flexible payment options (Credit Card, Zelle, Cash). Room for Improvement: I would love to see moving companies offer more "flat-rate" structures or do "mid-way time checks." I had budgeted for 5 hours, and suddenly needing an extra $1,000 at the end of the day was incredibly stressful. Thankfully, their Zelle option saved the day! Overall, I recommend them and would consider them again.

We had these nasty looking heavy glass cabinets that would've exploded immediately had me and my dad attempted to move them ourselves (sarcasm). But he and his men handled it beautifully without a hitch. All glass shelves were packed in moving blankets, all items were blanket & plastic wrapped before loading onto the truck. Jeremiah's communication heading into the move was excellent and Mike and his team arrived right in the window they said they would. As soon as I gave them the rundown of the place, they wasted ZERO time and got straight to work - all the way until the last item was carried into the new place. Heading into this move, I was worried about taking apart our bed frames and putting them back together. Mission Movers took care of it at no extra cost. But the biggest thing for me is how friendly and HONEST the team was. One of my dining chairs was already cracked before the move and they approached me and apologized for thinking they did it. That small gesture went a long way for me and I know they were going to find a solution even if it was their fault. They also could've charged me for a full 4 hours but charged me to the exact minute they worked at 3.75 hours. Not to mention it was also a really hot day and they powered through it without a single complaint. My wife and I have said several times that we don't know how we would've done it without Mission Movers. I know exactly who I'm hiring for any of my future moves. 10/10 experience! They ate not only very nice and polite but they helped me load and unload my storage vehicle. They helped me back in and then even back out. The Private Car Storage operation is completely different than anywhere else I've ever stored my vehicles. The Irvine location is very unique because they have a very large client that has dozens of vehicles. Because of this it's almost like they have extra time on their hands and give the rest of their clients unbelievable, Neiman Marcus like service. The customer service here is similar to checking into a Ritz Carlton. Everyone and I mean everyone I have met is absolutely outstanding. I don't know if it's a coincidence that everyone is awesome or perhaps it's the management that really knows what they're doing when they hire and train people. Either way I'm a very happy customer and I hope to store my vehicles here for a long time.

Prior to the move, I discussed pricing and payment terms directly with the owner/manager and confirmed the agreed-upon amount. However, when the movers arrived, they immediately demanded cash up front and refused to provide any services unless payment was made on the spot. This directly contradicted the prior agreement. After loading the couches, they demanded an additional $100 that had never been disclosed or authorized. The situation felt coercive and inappropriate. In addition to the payment dispute, the movers caused multiple damages: * One of the couches was damaged. * The garage door was damaged. * A component of the security system on the back door was broken. Furthermore, one of the workers raised his voice and yelled at my wife and daughter. This behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. When I contacted the company to request information regarding their insurance coverage for the damages, they refused to provide any details. This company demonstrated a serious lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect. I strongly advise others to proceed with caution.
