This company is a scam. They get you to post a yelp review and then they overcharge you. They charge me one rate when I provided them my credit card information. They said that they wanted Zelle when I told them that when I received my quote, it indicated all payments were accepted. They spent an hour and a half getting a supervisor on the phone and they wanted to charge me for getting your supervisor on the phone Would never recommend this company somewhere else. I'll start with the positives, the crew was prompt, polite, and did a great job with assembling my furniture. However, smiling while scamming me didn't make it any better. To start they arrived and immediately mentioned a $150 heavy item charge for each item that was not anywhere in the estimate they sent. This applied to my refrigerator and both bed sets. At this point I needed to get out of my apartment and had no choice but to accept what their add one. They also arrived with three movers though I requested four. They then proceeded to move as slowly as possible when loading my items, taking frequent breaks that counted towards my billed time. They wrapped everything in plastic (not bubble wrap) very slowly. In the past I have only seen this used on furniture with doors to keep them from opening but they wrapped everything in plastic even though the type of plastic they used does not provide protection from damage. They somehow made a move from a two bedroom apartment to a place 10 minutes away (with one stop to pick up a bed set) take over 11 hours. I was billed time and a half for all time over 8 hours. This was especially maddening since I used to work as a mover and know for a fact I could have moved everything in 4 hours with the same amount of people. I have also hired movers before and they took about 4 hours for the same amount of items. This was a terrible experience and real blow to my budget. I would caution anyone against hiring this company unless you are prepared to pay 4 times what you anticipate the cost will be. read more

Had to move units inside the same apartment complex so I was given a discounted rate. The team arrived on time and helped us box up a couple of things we haven't packed up yet. Updating my review because last time I posted a review, it was asked upfront in person while I was paying, they asked if I could write them a positive review(ok.Awkward) and to avoid any awkwardness, I gave it a 5 star and only wrote positive things. I'm not going to write a false review guys. Friendly guys, but The approach was awkward, and I don't think any business should be doing this because it's not genuine. The reviews that you guys see posted here, majority of it was written by request from the movers upfront in person. Who's going to write an honest review when asked in person lol no one. Again, The guys were nice and it was done quickly, however there are a couple things I need to mention about this moving company- 1. The guys mentioned that the tip I provide is the amount they'll be making, not the amount that is costing me to move. I'm sorry, but that is my problem because? It's your employer that is not giving you an hourly rate, Why is this even being addressed to me? Again, awkward... 2. The mileage they use to calculate before they charge you for additional gas fee. So you are charged gas fee no matter what, however if you go over 5 miles, you are charged again or double the amount, I can't 100% remember which one it was. From my google maps, it says it will be 4 miles. But apparently they use this truck route, so the route they take will most likely go over whatever mileage you see on google maps. I didn't know about this and questioned why I got charged double the fee, called and asked, and this is what he told me. ****MAKE SURE YOU CALL AND ASK THEM, how many miles it says on THEIR map, the move will be.***** I kind of wished I got movers that understood English a bit better because I was very specific on what items needed to be moved. And they kept asking, what about the fridge, what about the table etc I kept having to repeat myself that THESE are the only items that need to be moved, that's it, nothing else, oh my lol just listen!! At this point, I got annoyed because we were wasting time, time is ticking and it's costing me money. I came down to check how they were loading the truck and at one point saw one guy sitting down, and this was in the beginning of the move... like within 20 mins.... like bro why are you sitting and not moving? I'd advise if you hire these guys, supervise. Would I hire these guys again? Maybe. But it's also because I know what to expect and how to handle them. But I'd definitely call and ask what the mileage says on THEIR truck route, because it won't be the same amount of miles as google/Apple Maps. read more

I had the pleasure of hiring A2 Moving for a large move that required them to clear out four daycare centers and move furniture and materials to another five centers between Anaheim and Riverside. Today I had movers from A2 help me move a one bedroom. They arrived on time and communicated well. My frustration and dissatisfaction is that on my agreement I put that I had a large fridge to be moved along with a king size mattress and a bulky but not heavy couch. So I signed the estimate and then when the movers arrived they told me it would be an extra 150 for the fridge. That the movers required me to zelle them. Also on the contact it says for "CREDIT CARDS" there's an extra 10% fee. After listing that credit and debit are accepted. I was then charged an extra 10% for a debit card. So I paid an extra 230 dollars today that wasn't on the estimate before hand. My movers took 8 hours to move my one bedroom. I don't believe it should have taken that long. I had everything organized in boxes and moving bags. I also believe they stopped on the drive from one home to the next. I shouldn't have to pay for their personal time. I am so disappointed in the lack of communication on prices. I believe I was way over charged. I was also pressured into giving a good review by the movers while they were still here. So I believe most of these reviews were probably done the same way. I will never ever use this company again and I won't recommend them either. read more
