We hired Nick's company to move a two-bedroom apartment over a distance of approximately one mile. The entire experience was a disaster from start to finish. 1. Unforeseen & Coerced Charges: Upon arrival, the moving crew declared that a chest dresser was "too huge and heavy" and demanded an immediate, extra fee not included in our original quote. Since they had already arrived and we were forced to move that day, we had no choice but to accept this coerced price increase, which put us under immediate and unfair financial pressure. 2. Excessive Time: Despite the incredibly short, one-mile distance between locations, the move took an unacceptable 7.5 hours to complete. This is a severe reflection of poor planning and efficiency. 3. Property Damage and Silence: During the move, the crew caused significant damage to our property. My refrigerator was clearly damaged (photo evidence is available), and my night table was also damaged. I immediately reached out to Nick via both email and text message to arrange for the repair of the refrigerator. As of today, I have received zero response from the company or Nick, showing a complete lack of professionalism and accountability for the damage they caused. Warning: This company prioritizes extracting last-minute fees over customer service or care for property. I had great experience with A2 moving company. The movers called beforehand to tell me the window of time they would show up, which is helpful. They showed up on time and were polite. The movers worked hard and efficiently to wrap all the furniture to make sure it wasn't damaged (see photos). They worked extra hard since there wasn't elevator access and moved all our very heavy furniture down 3 flights and up 3 flights of stairs, which requires a lot of work! They provided these big boxes to easily move all our clothing and to make sure our lamps were protected during the ride to the new apartment. I would highly recommend A2 moving! I just had A2 Moving move a bunch of furniture to two locations from OC to LA, and had a great experience with them despite some of the reviews on here. Ricky and Peter were incredibly thorough with their work. They also communicated concerns they had with some of the larger pieces including an armoire and solved the problem quickly. I appreciated their flexibility since I requested an additional drop-off location last minute and weren't trying to charge me with any extra fees. I honestly was very happy that they also drove from OC to LA in good time, because I know it takes larger trucks longer than most standard vehicles. Overall, a good experience! read more

Upon booking this company I spoke with Nick whom I thoroughly expressed to that I wanted to remain within a threshold of 6hrs maximum during my move . I was quoted for 6hrs with 3 movers . Peter Roberto and Amen were very attentive of our belongings . We asked if they could accommodate to our property being that we were still renovating and had just painted and installed flooring . At some point they were working without dollies and without shoes on to avoid damaging anything . My wife and I were satisfied to have called upon Nick to send his best team . DO NOT hire A2 Moving -- total rip-off and waste of time! Omg, I seriously regret calling them. They tried to charge me $250 just to move a TV -- on top of other hidden fees! I wasn't even asking for a full move or a truck. I only needed help transferring a few items from one unit to another within the same apartment community, less than 100 feet away, no stairs, both units on ground level -- couldn't be easier. They also showed up late, completely wasting our time and making an already stressful day worse. Totally unprofessional and overpriced. They disassembled and reassembled my furniture perfectly , the previous movers I hired left 2 of my desks uneven and I explained that to Peter he found a way to level it properly upon reassembly . They were also flexible with their schedule when I needed to change my moving time a couple different times late in the process to make my first move go very smoothly. We moved last week to our new home and good thing we got A2 moving!!! Nick was very nice and easy to communicate with. Movers we're late but instead of having 2 men which i have requested, 3 men showed up but Nick gave us the same price. No additional charges. Erlan, Victor, and Dwayne - super fast and amazing! Originally I had booked this company for a morning move and unfortunately I had to reschedule for the afternoon. After a couple bumps in the road I ended needing service at night and although I kept rescheduling with such short notice they were STILL able to help me ! Moving is not at all a nice experience but this was by far the best moving ever. Angel, Nick and Mike were absolutely great moving my furniture and boxes today to my new apartment in Irvine.
