For years, I've always had salesmen trying to upsell me on services I don't need and pack on hidden fees. They treat you just like you're family here. I've been dealing with a car rattle for weeks and when I walked in, they had me in and out within a half an hour. I would pick them over a car dealership (or any other mechanic) any day of the week. Good, honest work, fair prices, and kind faces. This is the type of mechanic shop the world needs more of. Thank you guys so much for always keeping me on the road.

We called one shop in Las Vegas and were given a ridiculous quote for the converter. Passion Auto was our next choice and the quotes for the various services were spot on with what my research showed they should be. They also identified an issue the first shop missed, a shredded serpentine belt. Passion Auto was very understanding of our situation and did good work at a fair price. I highly recommend them.

They quickly found out what was wrong with my car, offered a reasonable price to fix the problem, and repaired it. I showed up at 8:00 and was out of there a little after noon. I spoke to several of his customers, and they were all repeat customers who had nothing but good to say about this establishment and the owner Josh. Glad to find a place I feel I can trust to do right by me. Will definitely be back, when needed. My car runs great now.

I understand shops get busy, this location is "first come first served", and I don't expect anyone to magically make time appear or drop everything to check out the new car. I don't work there and I walked in, so I have no idea what things look like behind the scenes. The issue wasn't that they were busy, it was that the expectations set didn't reflect reality. After walking around the area for about an hour after drop-off, I returned and noticed my vehicle was still sitting in the same guest parking spot at the side of the building where I had left it. By 11:00 (after waiting over 90 minutes/nearly two hours from drop-off) with no phone call update and no apparent movement of the vehicle, I went to the front desk to ask about the status. Shortly after I asked, the vehicle was brought into the shop and I was assured the diagnostic would take "about" 30 minutes. It ended up taking closer to 50 before I got up again to ask about an update. My main frustration was not the diagnosis itself, but the communication and expectations throughout the process. Everyone I interacted with was polite and reasonable, but I was given the same optimistic timeline despite the shop evidently being backed up. If I had been told up front that it would be hours before the vehicle would be moved, let alone looked at, I would have planned my morning differently. I do want to clarify that the issue wasn't attitude or service, it was a lack of clear and realistic communication. Better coordination internally and more honest timelines for customers would make a big difference.
