I have ordered from this company every single time I have come to LA. Big orders. Some orders are close to $1,000. I called today to place an order. I asked to pay over the phone with my credit card so I could send someone else (because I'm in meetings). The owner explained that he didn't want to take my credit card over the phone because of chargebacks. I completely understood that. Being a business owner myself, I know how stressful chargebacks are. HOWEVER, the owner hung up on me. I called back, confused. I still wanted my order, we didn't mind paying when picking up. But, the owner told me he didn't want my order and to not call back. I am so shocked and surprised!!! I would never turn down business and I have ZERO clue why he didn't want my order. It's safe to say that I will NEVER buy from him again. I'll let all of my business associates know how I was treated. I'm one of the biggest buyers from the clothing district in LA. I will start this review by saying I'm argentine and I've searched far and wide for decent South American BBQ for a good price and without the need to pay $30 per person like those Brazilian churrascaria houses. I had the aca plate (8.99) a huge plate with grilled rib, chorizo, and pork belly. Salad, rice and beans. Amazing flavor and very authentic. They also had an amazing chimi churri sauce. My bf had a chicken milanesa and they serve it Napolitana style. It was also awesome! The service is friendly and it's a tiny little place. The empanadas are decent. It's owned by a Korean family but the story goes that the owners lived in Argentina for a good portion of their life. That would account for the authentic cuisine. read more

Not the biggest fan of the price or the time it takes to get the food, BUT oh boy is it worth it. It's a pretty small mom and pop shop run by Koreans from Argentina. I don't know what it is with South America influenced Asian restaurants, but it really works. I always get the Plate 2, which comes with a mix of Chorizo, Asado, and Pork Belly. I tend to skip out on the chorizo and they give you extra of the other two. So be sure to let them know what you want on your plate! My favorite is probably the Asado as it is so moist and juicy. Make sure to use the chimichurri they provide, because WOW. Feel free to grab a Guarana and some cheese balls with your meal, as they definitely complement the meal. They recently expanded their menu to include sea food options, but I haven't had a chance to explore those yet. Will be back to try those soon! read more

This place is amazing. I think I literally come here 2-3 times a week during my lunch hours. #1 combo, which is $9.99, is the perfect amount of food. It comes with rice (fills up about half the plate), black beans, salad, corn, 3 different types of meat (Asado, Pork Belly, and Chorizo). It also comes with an extremely spicy red sauce and an amazing chimichurri. I HIGHLY recommend their cheese balls. I like them more than the ones they serve at M-Grill or even at Fogo De Chao. Super solid. Its located in a small lot on 8th. Next to sahn and a bbq duck place. Parking lot is very small so plan accordingly. They have lunch specials (13.95 & 17.95) and all day specials. they vary by pound of asado/chorizo/pork belly they give you. They also serve empanadas by each or by the dozen. Beef empanada is a must! Delicious, big, and filling for sure. Asado was cooked very well. Not too much fat & good amount of meat. It was seasoned well and was not dry at all. i opted out of rice & bean combo and got the house salad instead. Nothing special. Their potato salad is so money, you dont even know it. This is where you come if you want solid food and great service. It's not a fancy place by any means. It's small. Very small. Probably 4 tables? So don't come with a large party. The food is what you would expect from a 5 star restaurant. The quality of meat is what you would expect from a place that's $30-$50 per person. The lady that works there is super nice. Came here after seeing all the reviews and pictures. Not a huge fan of Brazilian bbq because I always find the meat to be extremely salty and just too much food for myself to handle. But this seemed a bit different from your average Brazilian and after a workout some protein was in order! The parking lot is a bit small. There is plenty of street parking as well. They have a few beverages in the fridge. _Aca plate #1. 1/2 lb of meat (asado, pork belly or chorizo), rice, salad, green beans, potato salad, just small works from salad buffet basically. You can sub the rice for extra salad. My friend got asado and pork belly. The pork belly was pretty dry and rubbery. Not to pleasant and bland in flavor. Everything else was great. Depending how hungry you are plate 1 is good for some protein overload after a good workout or if you just love to eat meat :) _Aca plate #2. 1/4 lb of meat, rice, salad, all the works from above. The asado is real juicy and melts in your mouth. But it's pretty fatty, as you can see all the fat trimming, definitely not the leanest meat, but it sure is tasty. Since i'm not huge on fat I found myself taking out the fat and left with a bit of meat. The garlic rice is good, nothing amazing but good flavors to eat with the asado. I also got a slice of the chorizo and it was pretty good. Sausage was cooked nicely and was juicy. Taste and texture was different from a Mexican chorizo. Overall food was good and service was great. This place is amazing! My friends and I heard of this joint and been wanting to check it out for some time.. I have never had Argentinean food in my life..Wow it was so delicious! We ordered Aca plate #1, #2 and the Paella. The asado was soft, tender and juicy...it literally melts in your mouth! Very cool spot for quick Argentinian food! They have some pretty cool combos starting with one of 2 combos for meat lovers. First being an all around combo which includes beef and pork and another that only includes the asado(beef). The combos include rice, beans, and a small salad. Beef, Chorizo and sliced Pork Belly. Verdict- I'm not a pork belly enthusiast, but it was more tender than I've had in the past, but still I'll pass. Chorizo- tasty but not my thing. Amazing! Wish I'd seen the yelp check-in offer. I got the Aca plate with all asado. The meat is so flavorful and tender, the salad (except for the olives) was so fresh and delicious I could have a huge plate of just that. The rice has a good texture and the beans, well they're black beans and I could care less but a nice addition. They're meat is extraordinary because I usually, i mean ALWAYS prefer my meat medium rare, but even when it's cooked differently compared to my preference where the meat shows no sign of red, their asado is still PACKED with flavor. *The entire family has a great personality and characteristics and very friendly and knows of their item compared to some other places I tried. *Never even once messed up my order. * When you go during closing time and if you just love meat, they sometimes give you the crusty left over that they don't serve to customers to keep their quality at it's highest. * They have exotic drinks; gurana, inca cola, etc Here's what I have to say about those who complain about their price: Have you checked the price of meat these days? If you did it has skyrocketed through the roof and such quality meat they use should be considered cheap taking in the fact that they cook it for you along with other sides that also require cooking. So damn good! Tried this place last night and it was delicious! I got the 1/2 lb plate with salad and rice. It came with sausage, pork belly and asado. All 3 items were cooked to perfection, incredibly juicy and succulent. The pork belly was one of the best I've ever had; the thinnest layer of bacon crispness, with melt in your mouth tenderness once you bite. The meat had the perfect amount of flavor. The salsas were also excellent. The green tasted super fresh with so many different flavors you can individually taste, and the red had a huge kick as soon as it touched my tongue yet didn't leave me with a burning mouth afterwards. Both compliment the meat very well. Cheese balls were tasty and the salad was fresh with olives and some fruit added. The meat here is tender and perfectly cooked. I think the most popular is the asado, but the pork belly was my favorite. Not too much fat and not too chewy. I ordered the plate with the 1/4lb of meat. The green sauce thing that comes with the plate was salty and nicely complimented the rice and meat. Been coming here since it opened more than a year ago! And I am a BIG FAN of ACA Grill. Every time I come to this small yet wonderful joint, I am 250% satisfied if it's not more. What a pleasant experience you can get from a tiny restaurant in Ktown. The food, especially the MEATS, assorted SALADS, and OH~~EMPANADAS are just AMAZING!!!!! And the SAUCE....WHOA TOO GOOD. It is run by a Korean family who lived and had a similar restaurant in Argentina for many many years. Everybody, especially the owner lady is sssooooo nice and kind. She is very generous, also. I think she is so darling. I recommend this restaurant to anybody very strongly with confidence that they will all fall in love with ACA. All of my friends & family, church members love this place after they try once. When we walked in, I have to say, ACA Grill was not at all what I was expecting. And my bf quickly expressed the same feeling. I guess I wasn't expecting it to be Korean owned (yeah, I know this is K-Town) for Argentinean food and the restaurant was very small and casual. Anyhow, the son (I believe it's family-owned) took our order which was good because he was helpful and it was our first time here. We decided to share a plate #2 (rice, beans, 1/2 pound asado, and some veggies) and added a side order of chorizo and pork belly plus spinach empanadas so we could try a bit of everything. It took a LONG time to get our food. It appears someone ordered quite a big catering order so they were probably very busy handling that. But when the food came, it was quite good. The asado was very tender and flavored just right (not too salty and strong but not bland either). In fact, the chorizo was also surprisingly not too salty. The empanadas were fine but much better with the chimichurri sauce. My bf thought this was one of the best chimichurri sauces he's had. We wanted another order of empanadas but they were out of spinach so we tried spicy chicken and man, that was pretty spicy. Spinach was definitely the better choice. Anyway, ACA Grill is good for a casual meal. Hopefully the long wait for the food was a one-time deal. read more

I got the plate #1 which comes with three meats: sausage, asado and pork belly with rice, black beans and salad. All the meats were cooked perfectly - especially the asado! I think next time I'll skip the sausage and just have asado and pork belly. Their homemade chimichurri sauce pairs perfectly with the meats and you can get extra for 25 cents. New brazillian bbq place in koreatown! The place is very small and can hold up to 15+ people. Salad bar is decent. Now the most important part... They have AWESOME meat!!! Try the beef, it's to die for!! Although im used to fogo de chao or m grill's brazillian bbq, this place actually surprised me with the exceptional taste. It's perfectly cooked and juicy. Stumbled upon this place on accident looking for non-Korean food in K-town. What a find! The Asado plate #2 exceeded my expectations. It's got everything: salad, beets, rice, MEAT. Despite the fact that it was late and we were the only customers at the time, the asado was VERY tender and flavorful. The meat had a crunchy salty exterior and a soft well marbled interior. Add an empanada for $1 and wash it all down with Brazilian guarana soda. The Korean lady preparing and serving the food was VERY kind. She gave us extra cheese breads free of charge. Great great great BBQ. Family owned and operated. Everything was on point. Great food at great prices. Three choices of meats (Asado, pork belly and chorizo) and all three were great. I'd get the special number 2. The meat was well marbled and succulent. The grill was done perfectly leaving a salty crust. The empanada was both moist inside and flaky outside. My coworker once suggested meeting at ACA Grill for lunch, and I have been a regular since. There was even a point in time where I would have ACA Grill for back to back meals, but my fanaticism for ACA Grill has cooled, albeit slightly. My recommendation is to get the ACA Plate #1. Three choices of meat (chorizo, pork, and asado) come with the plate; I usually get all three. The pork and chorizo are just fine, but the asado is the meat that keeps me coming back. ACA Grill's spicy red sauce is very good as well. The parking lot is pretty tight, the place is pretty busy during the lunch hour, and prices have gone up over time, but I highly recommend giving ACA Grill a try. read more

The ACA combo plate #1 was perfection - I ended up loving all 3 of the meat choices (asado, chorizo, and pork belly). The chimichurri was a bit different from what I'm used to, but still really good! For $9.99, it was definitely more than worth it. The inside is small but clean, and if you're lucky you can find street parking next to the plaza (which I prefer because the parking lot is tiny).
