First of all, I love the purple accent color throughout the store as it goes perfectly with the açaí theme. Lately I've been obsessed with Açaí bowls. It's something that I haven't yet figured out how to make better at home. I've found and tried so many different places but açaí jungle is one of the best. Normally I struggle with whether to order a small, medium or large but here The sizes are perfect for me. The decor is bright, open and welcoming. The staff seem to enjoy their jobs. I decided to dine in and on one occasion I sat outside in August. It was a bit hot in the sun so the next time I went I sat inside. Both were very comfortable but inside was great for people watching, it reminded me of a cool hip coffee shop. The prices are about average for what you'd expect to pay. But I used to go to the Jamba Juice located inside the pavilions on alameda but they closed that location and I decided it was a good excuse to come try Açaí Jungle. Every time I try an Acai place I always compare it to Acai Jungle Cafe and it never can match what I get here. There's something unique about the texture of the acai here, it's solid but super smooth. I usually get it with fresh fruit and add peanut butter for another dollar. It seems hard to find Acai bowls with pure Acai blend (no added sugar or guarana) and was happy to come across this hidden gem :) Prices are pretty good and there's a variety of sizes to choose from. The best Acai Bowl in the area! Located on Victory Boulevard in Burbank, it's easy to miss this place. Parking is located on the street in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is open and airy with a fun and relaxing vibe. The entire front of the store is a window which brought in good natural lighting. There is seating inside the store and out on the patio. When we visited, the store was 3/4 full so we opted for to go when we ordered at the register. The menu had a good selection- Acai Bowl, shakes, smoothies, paninis, salads, tea and coffee. We both ordered the Power sized Acai Bowl. I almost opted for the smoothie. I'm glad I didn't because the bowl was the best Acai Bowl I've had. I usually find them semi-tart. This bowl was creamy, smooth and lightly sweet despite being vegan. Simply put, "Yum!" Great service, too. :) Acai Jungle is great for a light lunch or a quick snack. read more

Being a native Peruvian myself, as a child I would wander the rain forests, collecting these strange purple berries and grinding them into a delicious smoothie. After one month of just eating this, I started to become a new person. My hands felt stronger than ever before. My mind was sharper than ever before. I befriended the gorillas and met a man who walked with them. He called himself Tarzan. Decently priced! You get one free topping and one more if you check-in on yelp. By far one the best acai I've had. I ordered online as I was tight on time. My daughter had been in LA for a few weeks this summer and gets the Acai Power bowl several days a week. I know as I see her bank transactions :-) Thus I ordered hers with a few extras that she adds (Nutella, strawberries and coconut). It's a pretty big bowl so I guess the price is fair for the size you get. It looked delicious (didn't get to take a pic). I ordered a acai power Smoothie. I don't think I've ever had acai this good. We get them in Atlanta as well but this the best I've had anywhere by far. It's perfect. I added almond butter and coconut to my smoothie. I also purchased the chicken panini. I opted for the regular without avocado as that cost more. The panini is awesome. It also included a salad which had a wonderful dressing. The atmosphere is cool with covered seating in the front of the restaurant. Parking is on the street but people seem to move quickly so you can find a spot. I was turned off at first as my order wasn't on time. I asked for just the bowl for my daughter so she can eat before her event. The food made up for it and thus my 5 star rating. I've been here on multiple occasions and I can happily say I am a fan! I highly recommend trying out the acai bowl on your visit. The bowls come in three sizes: classic, power, jungle, consider them your traditional small, medium, and large. Each bowl comes topped with bananas, hemp and flax granola, and a topping of your choice. I indulged in mangos and coconut shavings during my first visit. They usually have fresh, in-season fruit. This is the tastiest thing to have after a workout or for breakfast (I would have it all day long if I could, honestly). I also came in for lunch and it smelled great in here! I didn't have enough time to wait for an actual panini or salad, so I opted for their coffee shake. It is made with raw and vegan ingredients: Bulletproof cold brewed coffee, cashews, cacao nibs, agave. I was seriously set past dinner time and my concentration and focus were through the roof. You're able to bite into their acai and it's already super sweet with you knowing they don't add any other sweeteners or fillers into their acai blend. It's so thick, it holds its shape from every scooped acai into your bowl - so there's about 3 balls of acai in your bowl for a small classic size. Definitely love the texture and the flavor of the base itself. Each bowl comes with banana, granola, and a topping of your choice. I would recommend fresh fruit as a topping because without it, the only fruit you'd have in there is bananas. With fresh fruits as a topping, you get strawberries, blueberries, and mangos. Last couple of times I went, you get an additional topping for checking in! I always go with fresh fruit (which includes strawberries, blueberries, mangoes, and bananas) and something crunchy/small like bee pollen or cacao nibs for my yelp check-in. (They also have paninis and more food food, which is pretty good too!) PRICE/SIZE: The bowls come in multiple sizes: classic, power, and jungle. I can easily share a power bowl with a friend and be satisfied for a quick breakfast. Tbh my appetite is a little small for breakfast, but a power sized bowl is still fairly large. I definitely think it's worth the price for the quality and size. THE SPACE: It's got nice cafe vibes. You buy the food at the cash register and they give a number for you to sit down, and they bring the bowl to you. It can get a little crowded on the weekends and you may have to wait in line at the register. My husband and I love this spot. I gave 3 stars because I have a suggestion for improvement. I have attached a photo of what the restaurant All Time does by our house as they are very popular and busy just like Acai Jungle. On most of our visits to Acai Jungle there are long lines and people in the back of the line go and save a spot before ordering. Literally one of the best Acai bowls I've had! One day I was on my way to Walmart and this place just stood out to me because of the name. Of course the first thing I do is look at their reviews before popping in. All was good so I had to check it out! I got the classic with peanut butter and OH MY DAMN that peanut butter was bommbbbb. I've never had peanut butter in my açaí bowl but it's life changing. I think they might of melted it before putting it in the bowl but whatever they did was amazing. The portion was huge for the price, I was shocked at how much I got. The classic also comes with granola and banana. The açaí is different from other bowls I've had. The texture is kind of like ice cream but not droopy ice cream...if that makes sense. It's frozen but not so frozen to where you can't spoon it out of the bowl. Overall AMAZING!
