Yes $6 is cheap for their classic bowl, but I found it's actually not the best value, or even flavor, for the price. My regular spot makes the most amazing Acai bowls - half sized portions are bigger and more flavorful than these. Might be because the owners are from the North Shore of Oahu and understand an acai bowl is more than scooping a sugary paste from the freezer into a bowl and disguising it with cute toppings and decorations. It comes extremelyyyy pasty and when you start stirring it around the amount in the bowl seems to actually go down to half of what it looked like. I've been here a few times and as usual it did not disappoint is an understatement. The place has so many healthy superfood toppings that are fresh and pretty tasty. The customer service was awesome as well. Minerva was extremely kind and welcoming. She also walked me through the menu and gave me some good suggestions. Definitely recommend! After having acai at acai jungle it's impossible to have it anywhere else. It's that GOOD! If you're near Burbank you must come here. The acai here is more of an ice cream than a smoothie bowl. The reason why I like this place is due to their texture of the Acai. It's thick and chewy like an Acai bowl should be, as I know other places are more soft like a smoothie. The workers are also generous with the amount of toppings they put in the bowl so it's not too much or too little. The reason for Acai Jungle Cafe being a four star is due to the area not being controlled to make sure their customers are forming a line where everyone is standing six feet apart. I understand that the place is small so customers feel like they need to cram inside when that's not the case. There should be a certain number of customers allowed inside the cafe. Nothing special. It's super plain and not much flavor to it. The pricing is cheap I guess compare to other Acai places I've been to but honestly, I've had better places in the Bay Area. When I ordered they told me there would be a 15 minute wait but I ended up waiting probably 25-30 minutes. All right, before I start writing how great the acai was, let me break down the process for you. - $6: Classic (the smallest bowl, equivalent to a regular sized Amazebowl) - $8: Power (medium bowl, but might as well be a large) - $12: Jungle (large bowl) If you're hungry, I would suggest getting the Power bowl. If you want a healthy snack or a mid-afternoon pick-me-up, I would say get the classic. If you want to share with bae, get the jungle. I got their power bowl with fresh fruit. Honestly, it's pretty similar to Ubatuba, with similar price ranges and taste, but there is more room for customization. I love how the acai is frozen, because it helps preserve the flavors and doesn't become juice at the end of your meal, and the amount and quality of the toppings are pretty good. They don't hold back on them, and I really appreciate that. I also really love how the fresh fruit came with 3 different kinds of fruits (strawberries, mangos, and blueberries). What I was kind of annoyed of was that it came with bananas and granola. I really wish they included the fresh fruit because it would really leave room for people, like me, to add some extra toppings, like chia seeds or hemp seeds. Other than that, I thought the bowls were great, and reasonably priced. Definitely one of the most affordable acai bowls in LA! Service was really great, and despite having a lot of orders coming in, they made my bowl pretty fast.
