We were able to get what we wanted with only two footers; most others quoted 3-4 which really blocked the view from the sliding glass door. the color options were standard, and we were happy with the quality of metal. The final product was completed in 4-6 weeks with a combo full and half lattice. Beautiful patio cover that will provide us shade for years to come. It's not practical to write down everything, but it's unprofessional for Tony to keep cutting me off and raising his voice over a minor issue. In general, customers hold managers to a higher standard.

Parker seems to commit to jobs that either he is unable to finish properly or may not have the experience to complete correctly. I hired them to build a pool equipment wall with a gate, but there were several issues with the installation. The piece mounted to the brick wall was left loose, and the gate hinges were installed incorrectly. The patio cover itself was installed well, and I was happy with that portion of the work. However, tile around the base was damaged during the installation. I was told it would be repaired, but months later, it still has not been fixed. They also installed a sheer descent water feature. They had difficulty completing that portion of the project properly, and the overall execution felt amateur. The water pipe for the sheer descent is still visible and needs to be covered with additional Alumawood to properly finish the installation. Communication and follow-through have also been a major issue. I have had to constantly reach out to Parker myself for updates rather than being kept informed. On multiple occasions, he told me he would come out to address the outstanding work and then simply did not show up. After months of waiting, there are still items that have not been completed. Parker was hired through USTurf, another company I have unfortunately had issues with during this project. I genuinely wanted to have a positive experience with both companies, and I have been extremely patient and given them plenty of opportunities to make things right. I understand that issues can come up on a project, but it is not acceptable for relatively simple repairs and unfinished items to drag on for months, especially when appointments are made and then missed without follow-through. As of the time I am writing this review, the work is still not fully completed and the outstanding issues have not been resolved. Based on my experience, the biggest concerns have been workmanship on certain parts of the project, communication, and ultimately following through on commitments.

Martin completed our initial estimate, and at first the communication was great. Unfortunately,…read moreafter that, things started going downhill. It's disappointing because I really wanted to love this company, but the entire experience has been filled with frustrations, constant follow-ups, and having to ask why things weren't getting done. On the first day of the project, the crew arrived and began measuring the area. They knocked on my door because they wanted to confirm some measurements. When I went outside, they explained that the measurements Martin had provided seemed off and that the border where the plants were supposed to go was much wider than expected. I agreed and told them that wasn't what Martin and I had discussed. I immediately called Martin and explained that the measurements were incorrect and did not match the design photo I had been shown. He told me he had used Google Maps for measurements and that sometimes it's not accurate. I was shocked because I specifically thought he had physically measured the area himself. He then informed me that additional materials would be needed, resulting in an extra cost of approximately $1,900 for more pavers and artificial grass. I explained that this was not my mistake and that it was his responsibility to ensure the measurements were accurate. I had asked multiple times if the quoted amount was final because one of my biggest concerns was avoiding a seam in the artificial grass. While he ultimately corrected the issue without charging me the additional amount, I still ended up with a visible seam running through the grass. Which I'm not happy about still. We also added a raised seating area with lighting. After installation, the area had a significant slope that was very noticeable. When I brought it to their attention, they explained that some slope was necessary for water runoff. However, this wasn't a slight slope it looked more like a sunken area on one side of the square. They eventually came back and corrected it. The pavers have also been an ongoing issue. They were uneven and not properly leveled. The company has returned twice to address the problem. While there has been some improvement, it still isn't what I would consider acceptable, and the unevenness remains noticeable. The plants they installed also began drying out. They had to return twice to address that issue as well, but only after delays and on their own schedule. Currently, I still have cracked pavers, chipped pieces, and stained pavers that need to be replaced. I am still waiting for a response regarding these issues. Once again, everything seems to be handled at their convenience rather than with urgency or concern for customer satisfaction. My overall impression is that once the company secures the job, customer service significantly declines. The quality issues, lack of communication, repeated repairs, and delays have made what should have been an exciting project into a frustrating experience. As a customer who invested a significant amount of money, I expected better workmanship, accountability, and follow-through.

It's been the same dirt lot since the house was built over a decade ago. JJ and associate came out quickly and made me feel really comfortable. There was no weird upselling (I wanted something really plain) and no fear mongering. I could tell immediately that we were going to go with Rock N Block so I cancelled my other appointment with a different company and put my deposit down right away. Within hours, JJ had the plans to me and I got the HOA paperwork started. Once that was done, I was scheduled immediately to have my yard worked on. The day of, the workers came, did a final measurement and got to work. It took 3 days but it came out exactly like I was promised and had envisioned myself. The workers were extremely friendly and self contained. They were responsible and trustworthy. They were also very concerned with my happiness. They asked me if things were looking good quite a few times. They literally made my yard perfect. I'm still looking for imperfections and cannot find them. If there were any complaints, the communication could be more but to be honest, they give information and don't feel the need to consistently remind you, which is also good. We did have a small hiccup where the workers didn't know they had to install a few other things but JJ made it right immediately and I can only be happy about that. I'd rather have the problem be solved immediately then get a phone call being told it would be done, although I can see how some people would want both. Pricing was fair in my opinion. I was told it should have been less expensive but I don't think so. The job is immaculate and the items are gorgeous with great quality. The craftsmanship means a lot to me and I would pay for it again. I wish I took some before pictures but I completely forgot to. Imagine a literal nothing of a yard. I recently put in a pool and needed a retaining wall installed. My original idea for the wall was pre-approved from my pool contractor. When the pool was finished, I was informed the wall idea that was approved would not pass inspection. They sent me ideas of what I could do and I was not happy at all. I reached out to Advantage Landscape after reading their reviews on yelp. Aaron met with me and took the time to listen to my concerns. He suggested some possibilities and showed me pictures of stone that would work. We set a date for install, his crew showed up promptly, and finished the next day. We explained that we wanted a low-maintenance outdoor space that felt clean, modern, and sophisticated. About a week later, Evan sent us a design image created by their in-house designer. Evan was also the one who recommended the white decorative rock, which makes the patio feel brighter and more spacious, as well as the gray multicolored pavers for the area where we planned to install our pergola. The project was originally scheduled to take three days, but the entire job was completed in just a day and a half! The entire crew was incredibly professional. They worked with incredible speed and efficiency, and the finished work was absolutely perfect. We were especially impressed by Nicco, the manager, and the entire crew. Watching them work so hard in the intense heat, with such dedication and professionalism, truly made us appreciate their efforts. We also received estimates from three other companies. The other companies told us that a design image would cost $500, but this company provided ours free of charge. We were also told by other companies that we would need additional drainage pipes. After carefully examining our patio area, Evan confidently told us that they were not necessary, which helped us avoid an unnecessary expense. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and trustworthy. They sincerely listened to our wishes and questions and gave us honest, professional advice. Because of that, we felt completely comfortable leaving the project in their hands. Now, one of our favorite things to do is simply look at our patio throughout the day. It has a different beauty in the morning, during the day, and at night, and we truly enjoy seeing how it changes with the light. We are incredibly grateful to Evan, Nicco, and the entire team. The solar lights petered out quickly in the winter or after a cloudy day. I went to my trusty Yelp app and came across Las Vegas Backyards and their many five star reviews. I sent information about my project through Yelp, and I received a response the next business day to setup an estimate. The project manager was very thorough, and he explained his recommendations for the project while keeping aesthetics in mind. The estimate was right in line with what my research had told me was an average price for this type of job. I was, however, a little surprised that the project manager did not arrive with a catalog of various lighting fixture choices to peruse. He did send several photos of his recommended fixtures later that day based on our preference for something modern. Communication was quite good through a group text with all the respective players involved. The date for the install was arranged within a week or so of my inquiry. There was a slight snafu on installation day, as the fixtures we had chosen were sold out. We were sent photos of alternative choices and were able to find a contemporary design that was to our liking. The first part of the installation took about a half day with trenching, running power lines, and installing the fixtures. The second day was a quick installation of the transformer. I was happy to see they had installed a smart transformer with WiFi access and an app to set schedules. I do wish they would've gone over this ahead of time to discuss what type of transformer would be installed (again, I am glad they picked a smart model as that's exactly what I wanted). Unfortunately, one of the spotlights was found to be defective by the installer during their testing. They returned the next afternoon to replace it. Payment was handled in phases with certain percentages due at certain points in the installation. Payment is easily made online with a credit card, but unfortunately there is a surcharge for this type of payment. They do have other payment options if you want to avoid the surcharge. Now we have a wonderful, gorgeous, and very upscale looking landscape lighting setup that really increases the curb appeal! Thank you to Las Vegas backyards!

We had to resurface our pool deck along with expanding the footprint, installed pavers to the courtyard and added turf to the front yard. We purchased our own plants but they dug all holes, planted and did all new drip systems. Kevin was incredibly helpful in that I had done AI designs of what I wanted and he created the plan to make it happen. Cheers to the amazing hard workers who endured terrible hot heat but continued to work with a smile. We offered water and food as I believe in taking care of those who help you. Plus they appreciated it. Lester was the supervisor of the team and got the job done. My only suggestion is for corp/management- Create a position Concierge liaison- a Individual who communicates to the home owners on all job sites in the morning by text of when to expect the crew and what part of the project is going to be worked on. Lastly provide easy ups for your crew as these working conditions are difficult. I love the outcome of the job and would highly recommend Pure Turf USA.

First, I live and work minutes away from my daughter, son in law, and grandchildren, and my residence was not questioned when you accepted my money without having met me in person. The sunken, unleveled area near the patio was sunken prior to the children playing there with water, which was brought to your attention immediately by me, and remains sunken. The children were playing on the artificial turf after installation, not during, and also when your crews would come for repairs, always unannounced, whenever they could fit in the time, because new business was prioritized first, according to your employees. My daughter would move toys, including their inflatable pool which was destroyed by cement thrown into it by your workers. The ineffective drainage by the patio was replaced, without a change order, by the structurally impaired lateral drain after I simply asked your professional if it was a possibility. You did us no favor by installing additional drainage that you stated "will help significantly during the winter season", but which we never wanted, never asked for, never saw a change order for, and I supposedly refused to pay for, which is false and libelous. The poorly placed drain at the back of the wall that you speak of was never meant to be located there and was removed because it didn't connect to any discharge or overflow line. The artificial turf, with holes cut in it to fit drain covers in that location, was laid back down and patched up. I cannot accept a repair method that leaves brand new artificial turf with a patched or piece meal finish, particularly to fix an error made by your team. One item I have complained about since the beginning is the safety concerns with the unfastened down and lifting turf which has never been addressed by anyone on your team. And you're saying this is the best you can do.
