This comes with pork sausage, Portuguese sausage, bacon, eggs, and rice. It's cheaper if you add the pancakes to the meal and pay for the rice on the side. I've been going to this location since it opened. It's really sad to see service decline. I called in a phone order this morning and the woman who took my order was rude in comparison to every other team member. The menu has continued to limit items since leaving Koa Pancake brand. I'm not certain if it's new management. Moving forward I will go to another location or drive down the road to Waimalu for my family's pancake and waffle orders. In these very difficult times, it's important we all keep aloha in our service and support local businesses. When we're treated like repeating an order back is too much work, especially when you make an error - it's time for training. I had the macadamia nut pancakes. The pancakes were decent, but were a little on the dry side. I should've used syrup on it, but I didn't want to overpower the mac nut flavor with syrup. For two breakfast plates I spent about $14 which is pretty damn good in Hawaii. Placed an order over the phone and hoped for the best. The auntie I spoke to was limited in English so I wasn't sure what I would get. I asked for the Koa Pancake with no mushroom and instead of Portuguese sausage I asked for regular. I received the omelette with Portuguese sausage but atleast they got the no mushroom part right. The flavor was delicious, needed no salt do to the saltiness of the sausage. For my starch I asked for Macadamia Nut pancakes, I was expecting maybe one as it's a side for the omelette but I received 3 large pancakes which was way too much but I will eat the rest in probably an hour when I'm hungry again. Pancakes were good and came with 2 small butter packs and two containers of syrup (a bit watery). The reason for deducting a one star was for getting my omelette wrong even though I repeated it three times, the copy of the order she wrote it on shows she never even mentioned the sausage just the no mushroom. Also, when I asked to change the sausage type she said it would be an extra $1.95 and when I questioned her, I heard a lady in the background saying no charge. Didn't matter cuz I didn't get it anyways. When my friend gave me my order first thing I noticed was the price was $13.35 so I looked on the menu again that is on their pictures and it said $8.95 just for the omelette and $1.95 for the pancake upgrade. I clicked on other pictures and realized the picture I went off of is 7 years old, the most recent is a year old and that said $10+. Don't make my mistake and look at the age of the menu. Which also makes sense why when I asked for the chili and cheese omelette, she told me that's no on their menu. The girls in the front here on Saturdays don't pay attention to detail. We ordered, they read it back to us on the phone. Then we got there and they insisted we didn't order all we did. They weren't even apologetic, almost like it's an inconvenience to serve anyone. We try to be understanding when we come here but it's been a common theme. If you want somewhere that values customers, may want to re-think about coming here. Also, when you walk up to the counter, they all have their masks pulled down and are socializing. A friend and I were looking for a place for breakfast that was near and convenient. Since time was of the essence, we wanted go somewhere that wasn't too crowded (we nixed the idea of Anna Miller's right away), but a place that was a step (or so we thought) above McDonald's. Enter Koa Pancake House. Located on mid-level of Aiea Shopping Center, there was ample parking available when we stopped by for breakfast on a recent Sunday Morning. Seating is plentiful indoors, while there are some tables outside as well (though I think they don't belong to this business specifically but are tables for Aiea Shopping Center patrons). The breakfast menu is extensive and I decided on the portuguese sausage with eggs and pototoes, while my friend chose the corned beef has with eggs with the fried rice upgrade. The VERDICT: It was barely ok. The Portuguese sausage and eggs were just alright, but the potatoes were dry and bland. My friend didn't finish his food. He claimed the corned beef must have been from a can, while the fried rice was "not good" at all. Needless to say, we won't be back. NOTE: Funny thing about this place was that it was extremely crowded when we were leaving. BOTTOM LINE: Once was enough. I'll be at McDonald's on Sunday mornings for the time being. read more

I have mixed feelings about Koa Pancake House. Despite the name "pancake house", their pancakes are just okay. I make better pancakes with Bisquick at home. This restaurant has a wide variety of breakfast menu items. They have omelettes, meat and egg combos, eggs benedicts, fried rice and a few plate lunch options. You place an order with the cashiers who don't seem too happy to be there, have a seat and they will bring your food to you. There are quite a number of tables, but this place is a little busy, so I usually grab a table while my other half orders. Most of the time, the tables are clean, sometimes sticky or there is food under the table lingering from a previous customer. So why do I come here? It's two minutes from my house. I prefer to go to the original pancake house in Kalihi where the flapjacks are out of this world. The prices here are decent, but this is not my favorite pancake joint. read more

Reasonable prices and so many selections for breakfast! There were like 5 ladies working at the front (which to me was a little odd) but they were all very nice. I ordered the corn beef hash and macadamia nut pancakes. To be honest, I think the OG pancake house is better. The corn beef hash wasn't crispy the way I like and the macadamia nuts weren't consistent in texture (some were harder than the other). But the pancake itself was more fluffy! One of the nice ladies even brings the food to you if you're eating there. Wasn't sure if I was supposed to return the condiments to the front, but I did anyway out of courtesy. Make sure to clean up after yourself! Anyway, I'd recommend for anyone to try this place if they're looking for a local breakfast spot with plenty of selections and good prices. It's Mother's Day, so I came in with my mom, husband and 3 kids. It was extremely busy which we expected since it's Mother's Day. We were fortunate enough to get a table just as it got completely full. Our order took longer than usual but the food is worth the wait. While we were waiting for our order to come, sitting and talking, an altercation began between Shireen and a customer. We were appalled to then see her lunge at him in an attempt to either hit or grab him..all the while my kids are staring in terror! Shireen then literally chased this customer from the restaurant yelling at him and threatening that "she has his phone number". Wgen our food came, we quickly ate and left, but not before the police were called by the customer and she was made to clock out and leave. My mother just sat quiet the entire meal. This was not how her special day should have gone. They really need to get rid of her. We won't be back as long as she's working there. I don't know if it's a matter of mental health or substance abuse, but Shireen should get help for whatever her challenges are. I am so disappointed. I went to the kaimuki location which i loved and decided to try this location and i wished i never. It was really hot there was no ac or fan they had the doors open and that was it. The amount of food n quality was not the same as the kaimuki location. I ordered the ham and eggs and the ham was thin slices for sandwiches it was very disappointing. My husband ordered the steak and eggs and steak was very chewy. I will never eat here again. I recommend going to the kaimuki location its a big difference read more
