Terrible service. Called Air Perfection 2 weeks ago for the repair of our central AC. The reason why I opted to call them was the good reviews I've read. But never fixed our AC. Last week Aug 14, they sent a lady to take a look what was wrong and could not pinpoint or figure out what the problem was. She said she'll tell the office to send their main guy the next day. Aug 15, Mark came and check our system. Not half an hour later he fixed um. He said it is all good and paid $180 for the service and gave $20 tip. Just few hours later on the night of the 15th our AC shut down again and telling us to call service again. The next morning Aug 16,2019 we called Mark again to tell him about the issue. No answer and just voicemail. Few hours later he called back saying he gotta tell the office first. Weekend came and office is close. Aug 19,2019 Monday I called the office first thing in the morning and Tina answered the phone. Told her about what happened and she seem irritated when she said they just got in their office. It was almost 9am when I called and their office hours opens at 8am. They could'nt send one of their guy that day to atleast check what went wrong with our AC and the earliest appointment they have is on Wed Aug 21 at 1pm. Because of this I opted to call another AC repair company and scheduled me right away on that same Monday morning. And voila, the guy who came did a thorough check up and all questions were answered. He explained eveything he did, what was wrong and what was done. And until now our AC is so freaking cool. Anyway, I cancelled the appointment for Aiea Perfection for their terrible service. Sometimes a good review is not enough to tell that they offer an excellent service. read more

This is the second year that I've used Air Perfection for my A/C annual maintenance. They are really professional, respond quickly, and fast. When you call or text, someone will respond to you almost immediately. They also work with you to set up an appointment time that best fits with your schedule. Called these guys and within a day Rostin came out to do an estimate which was lower than all the others I got. He was honest about the systems and brands and recommended a good one for my house. Four days after the initial phone call the crew showed up promptly to start work. They helped me move some things around before installing, worked fast, and cleaned up when they were done. A little late on this review but it's been 2 months since I was last serviced by Scott at Air Perfection. He was very professional and explained everything that needed to be done. He fixed my split AC in my living room from a leak that has been going on for nearly 2 years. All the other vendors could not fix the issue or would temporarily stop the leaking for maybe a week before it would come back. So far after more then 2 months. I have 2 Mr Slim Mitsubishi split a/c units. My Livingroom 36,000 btu has not performed like it should. I had the units installed by another major company and service them twice a year. Recently that unit was not as cool as I thought it should be. After calling them back to check them -I had the owner come out and insisted something was wrong. He says everything is normal and suggested I run it at 59o at max -"it's the new freon - not as efficient." We continued to suffer- until I called Rostin at Photonworks - he sent out Mark. I don't know what he did -but damn!! -we are running it on low at 70o and freezing our butts off- that's what I am talking about. Guyz -I don't know these guyz and am not related to them- but they are the real deal!!! Mark cleaned my other unit and instructed me to call them back should the Livingroom go warm-which means there maybe a freon leak. That's all I wanted -my a/c is supposed to blow cold -no excuses. I have never had to replace a whole A/C unit, but as a home owner you have to deal with issues like your A/C being obsolete and limping in 1 leg . Rostin was very courteous and professional on day of estimate. We got one Mitsubishi 36000 unit for our living/dining/kitchen/playroom, and one Mitsubishi 12000 unit for our master bedroom/closet/bathroom. Decided to go with Aire Dynamics because they gave the best pricing and install time compared to 4 other businesses. Scott was able to accommodate us within 2 weeks when we decided to go with them, and was even able to change date when we realized our original install date was conflicting with other plans we had. On day of install, my wife was home and she said they were at our place early and started their work promptly. She had told me that in the beginning there were about 4-5 guys working, and they were all polite and professional to her. When I got home after work, Scott and Juvanny were finishing up the job. They completed their work within one day as they said they would. Scott and Juvanny cleaned up after themselves and even went thru the process of explaining how to use and clean the system. The Mitsubishi system cools the areas perfectly and quickly, and the condenser units are quiet. When the time comes we plan to add more units for the rest of our house, and we will DEFINITELY be going with Aire Dynamics again. Excellent customer service and quality work! This is a very well managed company, everything from my initial call to completion of the work, to invoicing was well communicated and quick! Our split system stopped cooling effectively last week and everything including the estimate/assessment to the replacement was done 7 calendar days later. It is peak busy season yet they worked with my schedule and the entire process was nearly effortless on my part. Mind you, I already knew we had to replace the entire system as the prior heat exchanger had a leak and multiple air handlers has serious problems so this was a full removal and install. These guys are extremely easy to work with and do excellent work. Affordable and professional these guys care about workmanship and quality. I got 4 Fujitsu splits in my home and they were done within a day. My home is brand new was pre-plumbed for ac by our builder. Unfortunately, many of the measurements provided by our builder were "off" so they had to make holes in our drywall in order to see where the ducts were. They had a drywall guy come into our home a few days later to repair it and it looks like nothing happened. Best of all, they did not ask for the payment until the walls were perfect. One word: PHENOMENAL! My brand new Mitsubishi Electric split system (barely a month old) stopped cooling for a tenant of mine. I obviously called, emailed, and texted the guy that installed the machine to let him know my situation, but no response. I needed something fast, and I literally called 18 AC repair services on Yelp/BBB, but their response was either, "We're too busy," or "We're booked for the next month." However, on that 19th call, Rostin from Aire Dynamics listened to my problem, heard the desperation in my voice, and was willing to come out on the same day! CRAZY!!! Probably could have been 5 minutes if it weren't for my conversation skills! Something was wrong with our living room Fujitsu split air unit for a while. It wasn't blowing as cold. My boyfriend tried cleaning it himself after watching YouTube videos. I'm a tough customer, who used to deal with contractors for a living in my career. I'm in my 70s and not poor, so I've used home contractors often. I researched, chose 4 contractors for bids. 4 very large bedrooms, cassette split-air. Air Perfection gave us a good bid, but more important was the vibe I got from the owner, and that feeling was proven very true. His crew was completely professional and efficient. I asked 5 contractors for estimates, of which 4 responded, and among which I selected Air Perfection for new split A/C systems. I was impressed with the 12 year warranty offered by Fujitsu (not Mitsubishi) against gecko short-outs in condensors among 3 of the 4 contractors. Air Perfection's estimator, Shane, provided well thought-out recomendations for our home which turned out to be the best overall price. Their crew, headed by Rostin installed the system of 3 condensors and 4 fans efficiently within 6 hours. On the downside, be aware that Air Perfection is not a participating contractor in Hawaii Energy and so you cannot claim the usual $250 credit for each condensor (I considered this in their price). Lastly, there was a slight glitch in the installation of wiring in the carport, which initially was not sheathed or covered as in other locations - this visual discrepancy was fixed by their electrical sub later on - so be aware of checking the installation for physical appearences - in addition to functionality - this would apply to any contractor. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend them for your home A/C. read more

I was planning a week long visit with my son who lives in Ewa Beach and a couple of days before my trip I thought of how HOT it is in that part of the island. So I yelped Air Conditioning and looked at this company's reviews and decided to give them a call. Rostin was so cool and just from our first conversation I could tell he was honest and down to earth. It was a Thursday and we arranged to meet that Saturday when I flew in. My AC started leaking badly so I called the company that installed it and they said next available appointment was in 3 weeks--what??? Saw positive reviews on Yelp for Aire Dynamics so decided to give them a call. Rostin tells me, "I can take a look at it this afternoon around 2:00, is that okay?" Ummm, yeah??!! So he did a quick fix that day but had to come back another day to do a more permanent fix (apparently the original installers did a bad job). When he gave me the bill, I was shocked--so cheap!!!
