Sometimes you don't want ramen and only crave side dishes, that was one of those days for us. It…read morewas a hot day so it was a good idea to snack on sides. Plate report: - Curry bacon croquettes - these are new. I was surprised to see corn in there but it's nice and crunchy. - sausages - these were great! we like these better at Rosemead than Alhambra. Seems to be grilled a little longer here. - poke bowl - ahi tuna is pretty good here. The bowl looks small but is filling. - chashu tacos - always a repeat order for me. I recommend eating them first or else the tortilla gets hard. - gyozas - a classic, we don't always order this but it's nice to have when we do. I wish they had a sauce that fits well with it. Service is always great here and super fast. Order can go quickly if you're aware how to order via their paper.

But found out it sold out in less than a day There's no collab decor as described on the website inside the store. The gyoza is small in size but packed with flavor. Might wish the size is slightly bigger though. Ramen is same as I remember years ago (customizable with noodle firmness, oil level, and saltiness level with the tare). Regular ramen contains 2 pieces of chashu, red ginger, and green onion (that I omitted) and a sprinkle of sesame seed. Everything else is add-ons so can get quite pricy for a medium portion size ramen if you start adding more toppings to it. I was sat right at the bar next to the register so I guess service is quick and attentive overall it's still a solid choice for ramen but without much special combo meals options or collab events, might not return as regularly due to price.

I've been here with my coworkers so many times now that I've lost count. It's one of those…read morerestaurants where we've never had a bad experience and the food and service are consistent. It's one of the default lunch spots for us when we can't decide where else to go and everyone likes their food. The one negative I can point out is the parking situation. It does fill up and sometimes difficult to find a parking spot during busy times. We just have to plan to have our lunches a little earlier and carpool from our office. And yes, the glass the teas come in are humongous.

We called ahead to place a pickup order hoping to try their dumplings. Once we arrived, the service…read morewas extremely good for just coming to pick up food. They opened and closed the door for us which was a nice touch because it was busy inside. We ordered the pork ramen, pork buns, and pork soup dumplings. On to the food! Pork Ramen: 3/5 They give you a hefty amount of noodles and pork. They use a thin noodle here which pairs well with the broth. I truly do believe this was around average for ramen as the flavor in the broth was not as strong or savory. The highlight of the entire entree was definitely the pork, which was tender and flavorful. I probably would not order this again. Pork bun: 5/5 The pork buns were soft and fluffy, almost too good looking to eat. There was the right amount of soup and meat inside that made for a wonderful bite full of flavor. Not dry at all. Would recommend ordering this if you visit. Pork Dumplings: 5/5 The star of the show, the dumplings. They were soft and just like the buns, they had the right amount of soup + meat which made for a delicious bite every time. My toddler even ate some and she's usually super picky about meat. Overall, I'd definitely recommend coming here for the other noodles, the dumplings, and buns. You can skip on the ramen. I would 100% come back here to dine in. Quick note that parking gets full pretty quick here.

Came here because of the 4-star rating on Yelp. Honestly, the food felt more like 2 stars. Maybe I…read moredidn't order the right dishes, even though Bun Bo Hue were featured on Yelp. Service was attentive, so I'd add an extra star for that. The ambiance is pretty standard--just your typical Vietnamese pho spot. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue, but it didn't taste like the authentic versions I'm used to. The broth wasn't quite there for me, and the meat wasn't as tender as I'd like. The iced coffee ($4.95) was alright.

I grew up eating pho in Saigon and IYKYK, the pho in North America vs in Saigon are distinct. One isn't inherently better than the other, it's just a matter of taste. But, I was very pleasantly surprised that the pho here comes very close to pho in Saigon, a taste I've often craved (and this is also how I cook pho at home), but haven't been able to come across in North America. Didn't think I'd find it here in the SGV vs in Orange County where I lived for 10+ yrs. Broth at Viet Huong is richer vs the clear broth favored at most places here. The brisket (thịt chín) has a little bit more fat to it which makes it less dry, cut with a meatier cut vs paper thin. The rare beef is minced a little. All the good things that remind me of the good old Saigonese pho flavors. The staff is very friendly. They all speak English really well which made me doubt the authenticity of the food (lol) but that worry was put to rest soon after my pho bowl came out. This will become my new favorite pho place.
