Definitely recommend and would call again for another fix! Update: They fixed my window quick, but I heard hissing from the window soon after driving my car. They came out to check it and forgot to pull the exterior gasket the first time. Said it was okay. I drove my car again and the hissing was still heard. Once they came out the third time, they were pretty reluctant in uninstalling and reinstalling the window until going on a test drive with them in the car to hear the hissing is still persistent. After the third visit, the hissing is no longer heard. Safe to say, probably an installation issue. Make sure to fully inspect their final work when they are done. I most likely won't be calling again for another fix. At least it was under workmanship warranty.

I had scheduled a windshield replacement for Saturday, and was originally given a 4 hour window from 1-5pm, for their technician to arrive. At 1:00pm I received a text, telling me that instead their tech would arrive from 5-6pm. At 6:00pm I received another text, this time from the technician himself Akbar, that he would now arrive from 6:15-6:45pm. 6:45pm comes around and no one shows up. I called Akbar's phone number directly and someone picked up and then hung up immediately. So I called Safelite directly and they informed me that their technician stated he knocked on our door and made repeated attempts to call me, to no avail. We have cameras and verified that NO ONE at any time came to our house, nor did I have any missed calls. This should have been my first warning. After speaking with a Safelite representative who seemed helpful, she assured me that a different technician would be sent out, but Monday was the earliest they could do. I scheduled the appointment. I then received an invoice for the repair cost with the quote - OEM windshield for $875. Monday comes around and the technician arrives, but its Akbar, the same guy who LIED about coming and wasting my entire day on Saturday. I was assured I would receive a different technician. Just wanting to get the service over with, I tell him to go ahead and he proceeds and removes my windshield. About 45 minutes into the process, Safelite sends me a new invoice, this time quoting me an additional $500!! I call immediately and send both the original email and quote, as well as state the California Business and Professions Code Section 12024.2 - stating a business MUST HONOR the quoted price. Even after escalation, they would not honor their original quote and my windshield was left unchanged. This was a serious waste of time and resources, including an additional day of work I had to take off, and now more time being spent to find another repair shop. I would NEVER recommend doing business with this Safelite and strongly advise you find another dealer. They hire dishonest employees and do not abide by state laws. They have no respect for their clients time or needs. I'll also being submitting a complaint with the BBB. UNACCEPTABLE.

They were very knowledgeable and extremely kind throughout the whole process. One thing I especially appreciated was that they stuck to their original quote. Because of my situation, I first had to remove the tint and come back later to get the new tint installed. When I called to schedule the follow-up appointment, I was told the price would normally be $90 instead of the $75 I had originally been quoted. However, they honored the original quote anyway. I thought that was very considerate, because some businesses would simply give you the new price without explanation. Their honesty and professionalism really stood out. Highly recommend!
