My husband and I popped in for drinks at this bar before heading off to a birthday party at Kaiyo down the street. The establishment was clean and airy, and our bartender was amazing. He was very friendly and easy to talk to, and later on when we had stopped by after the birthday party for more drinks, he was happy to welcome our larger group in. I can imagine this place gets really busy during Giants games, but come in the offseason and enjoy some food, drink, and old school video games. read more

The American food here was great! We got the Artichoke Dip, a burger, and a boneless chicken appetizer. Burger portion was huge and good quality! The chicken was slightly spicy, which we loved. However, hands down, the Artichoke Dip was the best item of the three items we got. The atmosphere inside is nice- it's slightly dark inside and sort of mysterious. Service was great! Came in after a baseball game and we were lucky to get a seat because it was popping here! They have outdoor heaters which is perfect for cold SF. We only had some truffle fries and drinks, but the fries were to die for!!! They lasted about 5 mins at our table lol. We also got some espresso martinis which were so so yummy. Great ambiance, very unique spot. The food menu was surprisingly tasty. It's a cool spot to stop for a drink and bites to eat.

This place is a culinary Chernobyl and experiential Three Mile Island. The concept is so cluttered and desperate, an aesthetic so incongruous for Paso Robles, run by the ex help from institutional townie haunts whom are convinced they are part of some 12th and Pine, Beau Monde. The food is a spectacular monument and tire-fire of banality, and the drinks are so laughably overwrought. We always got some lingering, meretricious "key party" vibe there that we only referred to this last resort as the "polygamist garden." Hard pass and try to limp to the rest-step in San Miguel. That vending machine has Rice-Crispy Treats and doesn't have the same North Korean Tiki Bar with beyond satire dreadful service. read more

I had such a lovely time at Alchemist last weekend. I was celebrating my friends 30th birthday and we went out to alchemist for cocktails. Their drinks are so lovely and the ambiance is exquisite! They are following Covid guidelines and they give out waters with your cocktails as well which is always a plus. I highly recommend the Voodoo drink. My only complaint is that there isn't enough vegan options, my friend is vegan and she ordered the potato tacos and there was definitely dairy in them even after she asked about it. Which was too bad. But we both had a great time and the drinks were flowing, also the music is bumping at this place which created a very lively atmosphere. This place was great, my daughter and I needed to kill some time before a concert up the road. We decided to "pregame" and this place looked very unique. We went to the second floor part of the bar, and at the first floor door they had a bouncer that checked both our regular ID and our Covid vaccination cards. We personally have absolutely no issues with this being done and had our cards (or copies which they accepted). Inside we were quickly seated with two different options so it was nice to be able to choose. This place is quirky and has regular tables, tall bar tables, couches, lounge chairs and coffee tables. We chose just a regular table. On the table was a QR code to bring up the menu, though you still wait for the waitress to come take your order via their tablet. We thought it was a lot of fun because they had a lot of specialty, foofoo, quirky cocktails. Things with various herbs, liquors you don't always see at bars, etc. They also had some standard cocktails, beer and wine options. My daughter got I think a black dahlia, it had fennel/anise in it with a blackberry garnish. It was delish. I got my standard moscow mule which was good as well. I'd say they didn't under pour the liquor. Food wise we got the spinach and artichoke dip and a piece of cheesecake to split. The cheesecake was just average, a small slice for the price and you could buy it at any discount grocery store. The dip though, we order this dip a lot at various restaurants and we both agreed that this was one of the best ones we've had. 10 out of 10 would definitely order again. If we were in the city we would go out of our way to go back and have that and a cocktail! Lastly I posted a picture of my daughter and her drink on Instagram tagging our location as at the bar. They liked the post! It's not a huge deal, but I love when businesses actually pay attention to their social media accounts and respond, even if it is just a like. read more

Don't coke here expecting to order Alchemist cocktails. Alchemist cocktail garden sits outside of Woodbury (next door to the alchemist bar). We got there at 4pm and only Woodbury was open. Alchemist did not open until 5pm which we thought was weird but maybe it's just food from Woodbury and we can get drinks from Alchemist when they do open. At 5pm we asked if we could order drinks from Alchemist and the server informed us that the outdoor garden area is owned by Woodbury and only serves drinks and food from them. During the pandemic, they partnered together to serve some Alchemist cocktails, but then stopped afterwards. They at first named it Woodbury Cocktail Garden, but it didn't get any customers, so they named it Alchemist Cocktail Garden which brought in more people. It was very confusing and misleading to us since we wanted to come here specially for the Alchemist cocktails. As well as the menu for Alchemist Cocktail Garden online shows the Alchemist bar menu. Overall food and drinks from Woodbury were a solid 3/5. They had 1 drink (raised by wolves) from the Alchemist menu, but all the other drinks were standard bar drinks. However taking 1 star off for the misleading name. read more

Went here to meet friends this past Saturday. The door man was cool. The rest of the experience was pretty awful. Couldn't order anything from the app. Had to wait for servers who never came, apparently during game day...if you aren'twearing Gaints gear...they don't see you.There was us and maybe 3 other groups in this empty area. Bartender and two waiters . After waiting over 10 minutes...I go up to the bar...where the server...who...if he was doing his job...I wouldn't have to go to the bar to order a drink. Seemed like such an inconvenience for him to do his job I was tempted to tell my fiance. "WE NEED TO LEAVE." But...since we were meeting friends...decided to stay. The rest of the experience was sub par. Avoid this place. Take your money somewhere else. Give this place 1 star just for the doorman. The rest of this establishment can kick rocks. read more

Great place to pre drink on a Friday night. We had a reservation for outside but reached kinda early and the moved us inside. Delicious cocktails all around, wasn't super noisy or loud and perfect to have a great conversation with my date. read more

Was in San Francisco for the weekend. Stopped by at the bar on a Saturday night. Drinks were good and strong. The food was tasty we ordered wings, bacon cheddar fries and the breakfast sandwhich with tater tots. The tator tots were probably the best tots I've ever had. Nice place to hang out before my friends and I went to the Giants game! We enjoyed drinks and bar bites. I'm not going to be hard on them cause it was busy and they only had two wait staff and they were running hard.
