I can always compare places evenly that way. The meat was yummy!!! But I just felt like it was lacking the veggies :/ their fries were good though. The food Isn't bad but they get one star for service. Family owned restaurant that has zero customer service . Don't dare ask for extra garlic sauce you will get a long explanation . This is the best middle eastern food I've had in LA. Everything my wife and I tried was fantastic: chicken shawarma plate, rice, hummmus, pita, fries, garlic sauce, and tahini. The storefront may look small from the outside, but the quality and taste of the food is really outstanding. Also has easy parking, which is nice. read more

I mean, yeah sometimes they forget extras like sauces or drinks, but the meals are always exactly what I want and they're very consistent! I had the cheese sandwich and baba ganoush. The food was ordinary. But respectable. The pita was not much of an experience. I would have preferred better. I like stronger olive oil, more garlic and more spice. I make all of this at home so I have some perspective on it. The sandwich had a nice crispy texture since it was pressed. Needed more sauce? This place serves the most authentic and delicious Arabic food I tried outside of my family. The chicken is juicy with spices and not so much salt. The hummus is zesty, stuffed grape leaves are amazing. Rice is just how its supposed to be. Falafel was different than what I am used to from my Arabic family. It did not have any or little parsley and was not green, still was delicious. Very fresh and good ingredients. Thank you for making great food, wishing you lots of success. My Hubby and I came here a little past 8:30pm on a Tuesday night, truly glad we found this hidden gem in Burbank that's open late during the week. We love Mediterranean food and gotta say the food was delicious and the portions were great. Personal favorite I'm super happy we can substitute any of the sides (hummus, salad, or rice) for fries. I am worried about their future because the staff at the counter couldn't understand my order in English nor could they make the correct change. But because of the good food and wide selection, I sure hope they make it. The owner did step in and promptly sorted it out. So, I tried the chicken shawarma--it was tasty but not great. Very delicious! I found this place by coincidence and I thought to try it. Hands down, these were the best beans I had in the U.S.. Fresh olive oil and tahini just made this spiced "Fool Medammes" a wonder! I tried the "fool" (beans with tahini), the falafel (made of garbanzo), the cheese sticks (those were big, with delicious haloumi cheese), the samboosa (amazing beef), and my wife tried the chicken shawarma (clean, right amount of garlic, and well spiced). The only reason I came here is because the food is good. If it were for the customer service, I would never step a foot in there. The young guy working the register needs to learn a few things about how to treat customers. We drove 1 hour to get here and arrived 25 minutes before closing, he didn't want to serve us and told us he will only allow us to take food to go. We asked him if we could please eat here because we drove far and are visiting from out of town, he said he would put the food in boxes for us to go and we can start eating there but would need to leave when they closed. We also watched him turn away a party of 5 because they were closing in 20 minutes. There's no greeting or welcoming smile here from the staff. The food was good though, gotta give that to them.
