Worst place ever . I go to this place only for the beef wraps. I don't like anything else from there. I ordered two beef wraps to go, and when the order was ready, this male called out to beef wraps so I went home and when I bit into it, I noticed it was chicken so I called them back and I tell them and they say OK. You could come pick up the beef ones. Getting there, they asked me where the chicken one was and I said well we bit into it and noticed it was chicken. Well deserved 5 stars for its category. It's kind of hard to find as it doesn't face the street and your GPS will tell you "you've arrived" as you drive by and then circle back slowly staring at the address numbers. Food is familiarly Middle Eastern, and having never visited Syria, I honestly don't know how it compares to what you would find in-country. But I loved what I had and it was simple, fresh, and filing. Have to say that the hummus was some of the best I've ever had. It had a very light, creamy texture, unlike most of the hummus that I've had in other restaurants and in grocery stores. This wonderful family accommodated a rowdy group of 10 of us an hour before closing last week. We gave them a big complex order and they finished it up right away and what a meal! "Bit jannin" is slang for "makes you crazy in the best way" and that's exactly how I'd describe the food. We were all very impressed. So much thanks to the whole family. The mom was so sweet and the dad dealt with us and was very attentive till we left and the son was very concise and organized. Our favorite Mediterranean place! Here is why! Convenient parking lot is located behind the restaurant. Upon walking in, they have a decent amount of outdoor and indoor seating. People smoke hookah outside. Customer service can be worked upon because I had to remind the waiter a couple of times about my drink order and he was not apologetic about it at all. We have tried many dishes here: 1. Falafel- Good! Tastes authentic and shaped like a donut 2. Kibbeh- Fried and had ground beef inside. Nice with the dipping sauce and my toddler liked it. 3. Chicken shawarma- Average because chicken can be more seasoned. Came with rice with an spoonful of onions salad on top that was tasty. 4. Hummus with Meat- I liked the addition of meat and pine nuts in the hummus! 5. Mix Grill- My main course, enjoyed the beef Kafta kabob, chicken pieces but not the beef pieces. Today I came here for the first time since we had the Covid19 outbreak and I completely feel safe getting my food here. So delicious- I randomly stopped by as I was running errands in Burbank last night and wanted a semi healthy meal (I say semi because I had lots of evil rice and crispy pita which you know are deep fried). I saw the yelp reviews and decided to take a detour here and it was worth it! It's in a random shopping plaza- at night it's easy to miss because it's actually tucked towards the back of the plaza and you enter where the Starbucks is. At night I missed the sign (because it wasn't visible from the direction I was coming from) and had to u-turn to go back. There is ample parking and it's located on the far left side inside. The interiors is a basic no frills set up, a couple of tables and chairs and 2 tvs by the door. You walk to the back to place the order- when I was there, 2 tables were occupied so it wasn't too busy. I ordered their chicken shish kebab plate and asked for the fatoush salad instead of the salad- there was a $1 upcharge for that but I was fine with that. I really wanted to get the fried kibbeh but I resisted because I didn't want to have too many fried things (I just went nuts at Porto yesterday so needed to calm down). I did not mention that I wanted it for takeout but they had it in a container for me (they never asked me and I never told them either...). I still ate there anyways- the food did take a good 10-15 minutes to make so at least it was fresh. So let's talk about the food- the chicken shish is usually a very basic meat, I've had my fair share of it having worked at an Armenian banquet hall and also from living by Glendale. This one was super flavorful and juicy, it was delightful! And I really loved the rice pilaf- it was a little different than the typical plain basmati/long grain rice they use at middle eastern restaurants, this had little pieces of thin noodles mixed in and you know they used lots of butter (delish). The fatoush salad was tasty too, with crunchy pita bits and some pickled radishes, tomatoes and lettuce-so glad I got this and not the regular salad. It also came with some pita and hummus- their hummus was pretty good but not my favorite that night, I will have to try their baba ghannouj next time because that's usually my favorite (over hummus). The total for my bill came out to $13.75 including tip- not bad for a lot of tasty food. I will definitely be back and want to try other items on their menu. read more

This is a great location for fresh Mediterranean food. Hummus is on point the rice wonderful and the Chicken Shawarma is very tasty, one of the few places I've found that makes their shawarma with lean chicken breast and not the cheaper dark meat cuts with a lot of fat. They also have a very good falafel that is shaped a bit different than the ordinary ball, very good and the tahini is fresh made and well balanced in flavor.
