Our property management company works with Alert and we cannot say enough about how great our experience has been working with David. He initially came out to view our property and check any entry points that pests may be getting in and took photos to write up a detailed report on his proposal to help keep any rodents out of our basement. He then set traps throughout the area and was sure to not use any poison since we have a dog (he did this without us even asking). We felt very comfortable with the suggestions he made. He came back a week later to collect any animals that had been trapped and then came back a third time to actually close all of the entry points. He was friendly with our neighbors asking if he could check the entry points from their property as well to make sure his work was done completely. I had them out to deal with some rats in a garage building. They trapped one rat, and wanted me to pay for a more expensive "rat-proofing" service to find and plug any holes through which the rats were getting in. The basic $450 service doesn't cover that. After talking to a supervisor, they came back and plugged a few holes. More after we see how that works out. read more

We recently moved into a new house and our arrival was celebrated by the ant welcoming committee in our kitchen. Fortunately our property manager has been working with Alert Pest Control on other properties and set up a recurring plan (5 site visits) with them. The ants pretty much got the message after the first service and have decided to move on (mostly). Today we had our second service and I can't stress enough how pleasant the office staff and the field rep are to work with! We were experiencing an ant and spider problem and decided to call Alert. I was especially concerned about using something that wasn't toxic because I have dogs. I saw a mouse in my kitchen. Eek!! I alerted my apartment building's property managers, who contract with Alert Pest Control. Art from Alert Pest Control visited my apartment, did a thorough job checking for potential rodent travel paths and identified a hole to patch up, he set up a bunch of traps, and patiently answered all my questions. I appreciated that Art helped me schedule my next pest control visit during his visit, while I had my calendar and availability info at the ready. The traps didn't wind up catching any mice, but now the hole in my wall is patched up and I haven't since seen mice or evidence of them in my home. After moving into our new home, we learned that our house sat on top of multiple ant colonies, outside of seeing a few ants here and there, it was nothing a few ant traps couldn't handle. Then came a massive rain season earlier this year and we had ants coming in from any tiny crack they could find. It was massive mess. The team at Alert Pest Control was amazing to work with. Their follow up efforts are amazing, and the specialist that came out to deal our problem, Francisco, was professional, easy going, and very knowledgeable. We transferred bedbugs from one of our buildings to our residence by accident...We used bedbug insecticide and traps to kill the transferred bugs but were not sure that we got them all...So, we hired Alert to come and check the 3 rooms that might be a problem. We are bedbug free...What a relief. We used Alert in the past and trust their work...They are very helpful and responded quickly to our request for help. They also answered my phone questions about how to prepare and remove items safely from a contaminated room in our other building so that the room could be professionally treated. I was routinely finding rodent droppings in my garage. I let it go thinking that it was probably a normal thing considering how easily they had access to it. That was until my wife found droppings in our kitchen pantry. I called Alert and set up an appointment to get it taken care of. Corey was very knowledgeable and gave me some insight on rodent entry points and reasons they might be coming in. I just want feedback that we got service today. The agent who came to the store to give us pest control service today was really amazing. I really want to give him 5 stars and thank him!! We get service every week and many different agents come and go from there, so it's just easy to do fast and loose. (Don't get me wrong I don't mean other agents are bad. All other agents are good!!) However, in my opinion, I've seen him work so many times here and he is one of the best agents from your company. I wish I remembered his name but sorry I forget it and hope you find out who he is. Last night I had an unfortunate event where a rat snuck in and a customer recorded it posted it on social media which is any business owners nightmare. Micheal came in right at opening and came to save the day. He said he saw that video and I said let's do it right now because it was that urgent. He came back in just 10 minutes and did a really good job servicing the restaurant. He earned a life long customer as I am just starting off owning restaurants. Definitely contact them, they are better than these big companies like Clark Pest Control who I've had for a year and do a terrible job. My rental house had an obvious rat problem with in the crawlspace. even though it had some wet areas in there they did their job setting traps and locating the leak so that i could better describe the problem to the plumber. The rats were gone in less than a week once the Alert Pest control guys did the exclusion and set the traps. They did such a good job that i probably did not need them for the next 5 months of the contract. But my tenants told me that they sure slept better when they came. Just this summer the neighborhood rats decided our basement was the place to be. We often heard them partying while we were in bed. We called Alert Pest Control and they sent out one of their local technicians, David H. Dave turned out to be an expert in all things rat. He seemed to have an encyclopedic knowledge of their habits and how to control them. Also, he was punctual, efficient and effective (3 rats caught after first visit !). Dave also inspected our roof and the perimeter of our property to identify places where the rats could be entering our house and proposed additional preventive measures I would recommend Alert without reservations. read more

I think these pest control companies are making so much money they don't even care about customers. I called so many times, always tells me they will return my call but never called me back !!!! NEVER The receptionist is unprofessional, I am willing to pay every penny but instead of scheduling a date with me she plays the "we will call you back game". Never called me back, not once. Also, the receptionists have no knowledge about pests whatsoever! I see all their trucks are just sitting there while there is not one specialist that is free. They charge 100 dollars for inspection. Meaning, holding a flash light and just look into areas you could of easily check. Literally spent 2 minutes looking around and there goes your 100 dollars down the drain. GREAT SERVICE. There were two instances where I needed someone from the company to come out and both times the employees did exceptional service and got the job done! The first time I had a mouse problem and Jason came by and walked me through the process of what needed to be done to address the issue. Alert press control is fair in price and Jason is as genuine as they come and is very knowledgeable. My husband tried to address the problem himself, but one thing stands true when it comes to mice, there is always more than just one. The job was professionally taken care of by Jason and the mice issue has been taken care of! The second instance was at my parents house dealing with spiders. Another professional employee named Rich came by and sprayed the interior and exterior of the house and my parents haven't had an issue since. He was very efficient with his work and explained to my parents what steps were taken to resolve the issue. I appreciated that as my parents are elderly and were very concerned with the spider issue. Alert pest control is the BESTEST! Michael the son-(John you did a great job raising him!) was very patient and kind. I had a rodent problem, INSIDE the house, since my last service-ALs PEST Control-Never use him! The previous company did not use metal grating in the roof, he used plastic foam which rodents chew through, and therefore i HAD RODENTS IN THE HOUSE!! Michael came out to look at all possible entries, and put me in the hands of Rodrigo, who set traps, actually caught something in them, and I am having a monthly service because of their STELLER service. He was nice and not demeaning. Also, Liam and Arturo who did the rodent proofing were very timely and meticulous. They also checked for bedbugs, and did a thorough job, none found ,YAY!
