I was craving for sandwich during lunch hour and that was actually unusual. I thought about going to my favorite spot but decided to try something new and that was how I found Alex Sandwich. Alex Sandwich was managed by a Korean lady. I asked if her name was Alex, she told me she had no idea who that was and she took over the shop about two years ago. That was kind of funny. There were also teriyaki and Mexican dishes on the menu, plenty of selections for everyone. After browsing through the menu, I decided to go with spicy chicken sandwich. I also made it a combo with fries and a can of soda for $2 more. For to go order, I received a little bag of sliced pickled jalapeños that served as pickles. The fries was seasoned and tasted good. The sandwich though, it was actually WOAH good. Basically, it was a spicy chicken teriyaki stuffed in between two buns. It was tasty and texture excellent. Overall I was loving this place. It was quick, affordable, and tasty. They have free delivery with no minimum order. The only downside was cash only, but I can't wait to go back to try their steak sandwich. read more

I got the grilled chicken sandwich. It was just a piece of teriyaki chicken which didn't seem grilled at all. The quality of meat is low with lots of cartilage and unchewable bits. We've been ordering lunch from Alex for years and have never been disappointed in the quality, service, and prices. We always get the Chicken Teriyaki Rice: stir-fried chicken + broccoli + onions come with a generous amount of rice, and a side salad (mainly iceberg lettuce). The rice plate also comes with a side of teriyaki sauce and a green chili sauce. I usually use neither because the stir-fried chicken on its own is already tasty! Other favorites: Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the Steak Sandwich. Both are really flavorful but on the greasier side. Can always expect Alex to deliver within 20 minutes of ordering and deliver plenty of taste without hurting the wallet! read more

Very tasty sandwiches in a very small hole in the wall. Make sure to add avocado to your orders! One 3-top table and about 8 counter seats. Shared the tuna and spicy chicken sandwich. Spicy chicken was tender, well-marinated and actually spicy. Tuna has good flavor and consistency. Nicely toasted crusty rolls added some interesting crispy texture. Only reason I will give a 5 star is for it to be seen. Never will eat here again, I stopped here for lunch. Ordered a chicken sandwich, when I was about to grab a fry I noticed something brown underneath other fries. They had a dead deep fried roach ! Yes a ROACH ! I asked for my money back and the cashier (old Asian Lady) said no that she would just give me new French fries! I love this place. i used to own a store next to this place so i would walk there. its a small hole in the wall place own by koreans who speak decent english. but i moved to a different location and now i order and have them deliver it to me. theyre really fast with making their sandwiches and deliver them within 20 minutes of placing the order. delivery is free but i usually tip the delivery guy. most of their sandwiches are $5 or less, cash only but no tax added on. YUM! On the menu they have 'Kimchi & Galbi Tacos, Kimchi & Galbi Burrito's'. I was curious, so I asked the owner for a small sample of the Kimchi.
