The staff is very helpful and will walk you through any questions you might have and even make recommendations. The store itself is very clean and organized. The signs on the tins of olive oils and vinegars have a pretty good description and even recommendations of how they can be used. This time I tried the fig balsamic and it was absolutely amazing. Took a bottle home for myself! Pairs great with caprese salads. Very good option for gifting to a foodie friend.

Even tried their most popular: Sunshine & St. Augustine Rose which were both a white balsamic vinegar that were unique and fantastic. They have a nice variety of merchandise. Such things as: pastas & sauce, stuffed olives, bbq sauces, jams, spread & other novelty goods & specialty pantry items. (see pics & video) Staff was helpful in finding items to bring home with me & that could go in my carry on luggage (also offer shipping). We bought several things for ourselves and several things as gifts for others. We also learned they do special pairings and post recipes on occasion if you follow them on Instagram too! The owners are extremely passionate and knowledgeable about their business. As well as choosing the best quality products for their customers. They have 4 locations in Florida currently. That is un-brine-lievable! Note-This shop offers in-store refills for customers who bring back their bottles which allows for a sustainable solution for returning customers. They also won "Best of St. Augustine" for Best Specialty Shop and Best Gift Shop 4 years in a row. Keep drizzling happiness like olive oil and best of luck for the 2026 award.

It was a lot of traffic to get down there, but it was nice once we paid our parking and walked the tree-lined streets. After we grabbed our coffee, I saw the sign in the window for "Hot Stuff". What caught my eye was hot pickles. We wandered in and I was pleased to see mannnnnny hot items. From Chocolate, to olives to the pickles that were my objective. The fella working the store, the owner I think, was over at a tasting booth letting a guy try some of the hottest hot sauces he had. That was because there was an entire wall, to the ceiling, of hot sauces. He had a good eye, as he spotted me looking at thew pickles ingredients and asked"do you wanna try one, I have a jar open". I was happy to. They were good, but not what I was looking for. Then I saw a hot sauce that was Black Truffle infused. I HAD to try that. Fantastic. I bought 2. I'm glad we popped in, as this was a very friendly place, with many piping hot options.

Why would I want to buy from a place that doesn't know how much they charge?! We went to the visitor's center and found the same sauce for $9.99!

We chose this spot for breakfast/brunch and what a fantastic find. The atmosphere is beautiful and upscale without feeling like you need to whisper or worry that you're holding your fork incorrectly. I went with the Gruyère cheese and ham omelette, and honestly, I'm not sure how they managed to make eggs this light. The omelette was delicate, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. The kind of breakfast where you take a bite and immediately start thinking, "Well, now I'm going to have to compare every omelette I eat from this point forward." My wife ordered the spinach and mushroom quiche, which can only be described as decadent. Rich, flavorful, and the kind of dish that makes you slow down and appreciate what's happening on the plate. The atmosphere is beautiful, the service was spectacular, and the entire experience felt like a special occasion even though we were simply there for breakfast. French Pantry was a fantastic find and absolutely deserving of five stars. If you're in St. Augustine looking for a breakfast or brunch experience that feels a little elevated, this is one to put on your list.

Cafeteria like decor, with a large bar area. Some might like this atmosphere, but the food quality and decor, were a turn off to me. As St. Augustine has so many dining choices, I wouldn't go back to The French Pantry.

Place was less busy than we expected so it was a perfect time to grab lunch. Our friendly server was a cute girl with neon pink hair. We ordered: a berry mule, Starry, Mtn Dew, fried ravioli, garlic knots, veggie calzone, and a deep dish pizza. Facilities were clean and restrooms were stocked. Parking around the afternoon was less packed than we expected and we landed a spot near the side exit. The drinks were brought over quickly. The mule was strong and cold (just how I like it) and the mint was fresh. Garlic knots arrived first and were even better than the previous take out orders we've had with Bronxhouse. The garlic olive oil that they use is delightful. The fried ravioli arrived next and my husband and I demolished it together. Pizza and calzone arrived at the same time and as we expected, pizza was delicious (crunchy crust, gooey cheese). The calzone was tasty and served in a huge amount so I could only eat one bites before feeling super full (from all the appetizers!). Our total with generous tip was about $100 and it was worth every cent. Thanks to our server and the chefs for a friendly, delicious dining experience. We will definitely be back again
