Alibi Coffee Co. is a ray of sunshine in this area. I happened to meet a colleague for coffee and we met at Alibi. The parking lot, as well as the coffee shop are very clean. The design elements are warm and inviting. You have to check out the coffee maker and chandelier. It's a great place to relax and hang out. I noticed while I was there, a couple of regulars did come in. The staff is extremely friendly, remembers peoples names, takes the time to explain how the coffee is made , where it's made their philosophy around it. Unfortunately, I didn't get to taste any of their treats that they're famous for. They seem to be sold out for the day. They have wonderful outdoor patio and they have at least 15 to 20 parking spots which is amazing and a rare rare find in LA. I highly recommend this coffee shop. I highly recommend trying the honey lavender latte.. It was delicious and it was not too sweet. You do have your choice of milk or milk alternatives. Note, make sure to look out for the parking lot. If you turn into U-Haul you've gone past the parking lot don't make my mistake :-) read more

Really cute coffee shop with unique flavors. They have a huge parking lot that's painted with cool murals. There's also a nice outdoor seating area in the outdoor space. Plenty of indoor seating as well. The staff was nice and efficient. Our drinks came out super fast. For food they sell pastries, cookies, and muffins. All looked delicious but I had to resist. Seems like their most popular drink is the honeycomb sugar latte. However, the barista explained it is on the sweeter side because of the honeycomb pieces. I was intrigued to try the chaga because of their helpful informational flyer. It was actually really good! Somewhat of an earthy cinnamon flavor to it. Discovered this place on the Cafe Passport and it was absolutely one of my favorite finds! The interior and exterior are both ideal atmospheres to grab a drink and catch up with friends, do some work, or read a book. The baristas went the extra mile to make me feel at home and helped me figure out which drink I wanted. I got the hot honeycomb latte. If you want to be extra cozy, let the honeycomb pieces melt into the drink and slurp it up at the end. Definitely coming back at some point! read more

Popped in here to study for a bit while I was waiting for my car to get fixed nearby and it was the perfect place to spend my morning. There were a few people but still lots of tables open. The wifi is also quite fast, which is good. I got the Sweet Corn Scone and the Hojicha Latte. Both items came out quick and were super solid for the prices. Make sure you try the pastries, they're delivered fresh every day and are perfect for the patio. Very easy parking in this very busy street. They open early as most usual shops do. There's a donut place not too far from here so the perfect set up for guilt trip later. But it's all worth it. The coffee does come in a smaller cup that I'm not used to. Cortado was really strong and I love it! Now I can zoom onto the freeway with less angst. The lady in the morning really should have a bigger smile but I suppose being the only one working this early it's not a lot to smile about. read more

LOVED Alibi Coffee! Salted Caramel Iced Latte was the best of its kind. Very clean and lots of seating to do work. Staff was very friendly and patient. Tried one savory and one sweet pastry, both were delicious. Also got to try their goat cheese basque cheesecake that is only available on weekends. If you go and they have this - its a must! Great local coffee shop! The parking lot is huge which is super convenient for the area. & the lot is covered in AMAZING art pieces. Shop itself is super cute and cozy. They have an outside seating area that is perfect for lounging. Ordered the iced honeycomb latte & the horchata cold brew. The latte comes with pieces of "honeycomb" on top - it's essentially sugar pieces that melt down and sweetens the coffee. I took off a few pieces before it melted to make it a bit less sweet. After that it was perfect! The horchata cold brew was good - strong & flavorful. It could just a tad more cinnamon but still solid. I was also super pleased to see decent prices for great coffee. Stopped by Alibi Coffee today primarily to try their Honey Comb Sugar Latte. I would say it was a solid 7.5 out 10. The honey flavor isn't prevalent until you're 3/4 of the way in & by that time you've already finished your drink due to the fact that they don't fill it to the brim, which is definitely cool, but totally left me wanting moreee. (More more moreee) As far the ambience goes it's pretty nice. The place is spacious and personally enjoyed the massive window that looks out into the street (great for people watching) There's also dope art around the shop and a gigantic chandelier that you might enjoy. pretty amicable spot just wish they served more coffee haha. Alibi coffee is so close to me and I was excited to find what appears to be legit coffee shop. Alas.. their hot water is lukewarm for my americanos. I tried twice during weekend and one during weekday morning and served by three different baristas and last time I was there, I finally mentioned this to the server and was told that it's been ongoing issue that the management is aware of. This totally killed my motivation to heat it up in my microwave at home. Once it's properly heated, the Americano tastes good but I won't be returning anytime soon because of noted reason.. Hopefully they invest enough to fix the issue! I'd love to come back to buy their own roasted beans. read more

From the fantastic customer service, to the in-house, quality roasted coffee beans, to the specialty drinks that were not $8+, to the fun ambiance of seating and pool table where you can play pool... FOR FREE. Also, FREE parking. There are few spots where you can get all of the above in Los Angeles, and I'm just happy to share this spot with you all. A very nice neighborhood coffee shop that is very IG friendly :) with a large coffee bar, crystal chandelier over a pool table in front of large windows looking out to the street. The ceiling is designed to look dilapidated, there is also a roasting area in the rear and a large art gallery space in the right half of the building. Tables and counters are sprinkled throughout. The place is very cool but almost feels like a movie set or the entrance to a disney ride LOL On the outside is a large covered patio area and a good-sized private parking lot lined with street art style murals. There is also street parking along Venice Blvd. Again, lots of IG opportunities. They offer a nice Signature Drink Menu in addition to the typical coffee drinks & teas, matchas, etc. But the over-the-top decor made me want an over-the-top drink. So I ordered the Salted Caramel Latte hot, my Son ordered the Honeycomb Sugar Iced Latte. Both were good but not much of a caffeine kick and the iced latte was a little overly sweet so he ended up not finishing. We also had a couple of the Calic Cookies which were pretty good and I got a Flat White to go. The staff was very friendly greeting us when we entered and including us in their conversation which was very nice. Overall, a pretty good experience but the Signature drinks were just above average and the regular espresso drink was just ok. read more

This is my favorite coffee shop in LA now. I loved the signature cream latte. It is made with your choice of milk, espresso, brown sugar drizzle and topped with cold foam. This drink was so good I went back two days in a row. The pastries all looked amazing but I tried the garlic cream cheese bread which was delicious. The parking was so convenient and the murals around the lot are awesome. The inside and patio both looked like nice places to hang out or get some work done. Wha??? I never posted a review??? I went to Alibi when they first opened several years ago (I don't even remember when it was anymore) and I have never forgot the way it feels in there/here. Even as I write this I'm super confused cus I could've sworn I wrote a review about how extremely peaceful the space makes me feel. I frequent many coffee shops and it is very rare that I feel that way. Something about the open ceiling and frosted skylight windows... And on top of that their drinks are very good, they employ wonderful people, and they just got SUPER CUTE GLASSES! (see pic) :). I want to send a request to Yelp and allow customers to rate local establishments with at least no stars. I received my order on time from Uber Eats. This is my first and last time ordering from Alibi. The ham and cheese croissant was cold, and the coffee was not close to being called Horchata Cold Brew. I called the coffee shop and spoke with the barista overseeing my order. I informed them how cold the ham and cheese croissant was when I received my delivery. She managed to pull off the," Oh, it's the driver's fault for delivering cold food." When I mentioned the taste of the Horchata Cold Brew, she said they use a tiny amount of Hortchata powder mix for the cold brew. I explained to her how unsatisfied I was with my order. She apologized for the inconvenience and hung up. I'm surprised this coffee shop has a high rating with rude and condescending employees. This isn't my first time here and today was a great disappointment. I understand business can get busy but to wait for an order for more than 30 minutes and wonder why? Come to find out my order receipt was not out for the barista to see. Thankfully I did get a refund for my drinks but when the cashier explained the reason is because they're busy is not excusable. A coffee shop that has been in business for a couple years should already know how to operate at its busiest time! I should have received my tip back but I didn't. Also, the cashier who was handling food did not wash his hands after he swept up some trash on the floor. That is a big violation. This place has been around for a while and I walk by it a lot but I've never actually checked it out until last Sunday afternoon. Stopped by for a quick drink with a sibling in between errands. The inside of the cafe is super cool! Not very busy so there was a good amount of seating both indoors and out. It was quiet and super peaceful, had a really great vibe. Handful of people getting work done on laptops too. Barista was friendly and upbeat. Got 2 hojicha lattes and they were delicious!
