WOWwowWOWwowWOW!!! I am thoroughly impressed by All In Moving Services. I have hired over 7 moving companies in the past 10 years and have had such terrible luck finding a good company and all have ended in negative (often times traumatic) moving experiences. I would always cheap out and go with moving companies with cheaper rates. Of course, cheap rates would inevitably lead to cheap quality service, and oddly enough, I somehow end up paying higher prices since cheaper movers did not move fast or took their time or weren't good at their jobs. My moving luck finally changed when I was referred to All In Moving company from a friend who had used them three times for her moves in LA. I called them Monday afternoon, and was able to schedule immediately for the next day morning. It was so easy and hassle free to book and the man on the phone was so friendly and made it so simple. A confirmation email was sent right after the call and the next morning movers, Antonio+Brandon, came right on time to the first address and immediately to the second address for the second pickup. I have never experienced faster, efficient, honest, more intelligent, and friendly movers. When I first heard the hourly rate over the phone call I thought it was pretty high in price since it's the highest hourly rate I've agreed for (I really trusted my friend's referral), but what you pay for is what you get. Antonio+Brandon were quick thorough, careful and FAST at disassembling and reassembling parts. It took them 4 hours flat to get to 3 addresses, and it ended up costing me $600 --WAY LESS THAN ANY OTHER MOVING COMPANY I HAVE WORKED WITH THE LAST 10 YEARS (I have always somehow get ripped off by cheap scammy movers and end up spending more than $850+ for moving a one bedroom in LA) I couldn't be more stress-free and happy about a move ever. Disappointed with how a serious safety and communication issue was handled. I hired this company for a very specific job: lifting the upper portion of a large china hutch, estimated at 200-300 lbs, approximately 15 feet and placing it onto the lower cabinet. I provided the company with the details and photos beforehand. Before paying the agreed $300 flat rate, I specifically questioned why the contract listed only two movers because I did not believe two people could safely handle the weight. During the phone conversation, I was assured that the two-person listing was standard and that the foreman would be notified that the job required additional manpower. I relied on that assurance when I paid and signed the contract. Only two movers arrived. I immediately raised my concern again. They said they would use shoulder lifting straps, but they could not locate them and proceeded anyway. During the lift, the cabinet began to tilt, and I was told they "needed me in the middle." I ended up physically helping lift and stabilize a 200-300 lb piece of furniture--the exact situation I had tried to prevent by hiring professional movers and specifically requesting adequate staffing. Had I known beforehand that only two movers would be sent and that I might be expected to assist with the lift myself, I would never have agreed to the $300 service. What was particularly concerning was that one of the movers told me they had not been informed about the size or weight of the cabinet before arriving. I don't blame the two movers; they were courteous and did their best. My issue is with the company's communication, staffing, and preparation. I contacted the company afterward and gave them an opportunity to address the situation. The matter was handled through a third-party claims company, which stated that it investigated my complaint. After an initial $50 refund offer and my request that they reconsider, the final offer remained $50 on a $300 job. No additional effort was made by the moving company to resolve my concerns. Fortunately, no one was injured and the furniture was not damaged, but that doesn't erase the unnecessary safety risk. I hired professional movers specifically so I would not have to participate in lifting a piece of furniture this heavy. Based on the service itself and, especially, how my concerns were handled afterward, I cannot recommend this company. If you're hiring them for a heavy or unusually difficult item, I strongly recommend getting the promised number of movers and required equipment confirmed in writing before paying, regardless of what you're told over the phone. read more

There are no words to explain how amazing these guys were!!! Edgar, Shawn, Johnny & Chico came to help us unload a 600 lb, custom made table that was shipped from Idaho to us here in Woodland Hills, CA. This table is 7'W x 12'L and needed to get up 3 flights of stairs. When we unloaded it, it was obviously much too big to take up as one solid piece. We ended up having to have an outside person cut the table in the street nd then carry up the two large pieces individually. Still not an easy task given the size, weight, and restrictions of the stairwell w/ plumbing pipes running through. The whole process not only took several hours with the cutting, but then to carry this thing up those stairs... all in 104 degree heat!! The professionalism, the dedication to make it happen, and the care they took in making sure nothing was damaged was STELLAR! I would recommend them to anyone! Move Details: Distance -- 10 miles 2 bd apartment to 2 bd townhouse TLDR: Movers got everything from A to B, but took their time to extend number of hours worked and left numerous damages in my new home and some belongings. It took me a few days to write this review, as I am a busy parent of a small child who is dealing with all the things most people are experiencing nowadays. I wanted to be fair and make sure I checked all of my belongings, home condition, and assessed my overall impression of my experience with All In Moving Services before writing this thorough review. The initial consultation phone call and day-of correspondence was very professional and made me feel at ease. The three movers I had (Junior, Chino, and Mariachi) were all wearing masks in the beginning and went straight to work within 5 minutes of meeting them which I was very pleased with. Prior to the moving day, I had 90% of my belongings packed in boxes which were stacked and ready to dolly out -- easy peasy. The other 10% were large items (fridge, TV, dressers). I did my best on my end to ensure a smooth and efficient move to minimize the number of hours I would be charged for the service. 30 minutes into the service, I walked out to the street just to see how much space the moving truck had and to check out the loading process (I was the only set of eyes, as my wife and child were at our new home). One of the workers was already taking a break in the park while the other two were chatting and joking around inside the truck. They quickly went back to work after one of them noticed me. The loading time took 3 hours, which was way longer than I had anticipated considering the fact that nothing had to be disassembled and there were very few stairs to maneuver through. Some of that excess time was due to a lack of professional strategy as to how things should be wrapped and loaded. For example, I was disassembling a bed frame but one of the workers told me it would be easier to leave it as is. I explained to him that it will be easier to move into the new home, but he resisted. Eventually the lead worker took a look and agreed with me that disassembling would be best; this ate up a lot of extra time. Speaking of which, I personally volunteered to help out with moving several of the furniture and boxes into and out of the truck because I found the service to be very slow. Since the workers get paid by the hour, they have no incentive to complete their job efficiently. They let me help them without reserve, which probably meant they moved even slower to neutralize my efforts. By the way, the distance between my old home and new home is 10 miles yet it took the moving truck just over 1 hour to arrive (it was early afternoon, not rush hour). I called about 45 minutes into the transit and asked if they were close -- the worker said they were 10-12 minutes away. I waited outside the entire time because I needed to show them where to park the truck, but they arrived about 20 minutes after the expected time. I know they stopped by somewhere and took a break because their seating arrangement was different from when they got into the truck at my old home. I'm all for workers taking breaks, especially because it is a physically demanding service, but I don't think customers should have to pay for an indefinite length of break time because every minute counts. At my new home, the move started off slow even though now they had 2 sets of eyes helping to guide them. There were many visible/structural damages done to our walls, floors, and even one cabinet door handle. I noticed these damages after the workers had already left -- it would have been nice to be informed of the obvious damages that they were aware of themselves, but instead they chose to be hush about it which is not an honest move on their part. When the clock was nearing the end of the hour, I heard the lead worker announce to the other workers that they would be wrapping up soon. I noticed right away the speed and effort levels shifted dramatically, as the workers moved a lot quicker but still were not careful about how my belongings were placed in my home. All in all the entire move took 6 hours when I reasonably felt like it should have taken 3-4 hours. I couldn't afford to pay for more than 6 hours, so I asked them to just drop off all the boxes in my garage since I know they would have taken their sweet time carrying boxes up the stairs. I understand this was a super long review! but I hope that it provides helpful insight into your decision whether or not to hire this company. My experience was not satisfactory, but I truly believe the moving service relies 100% on the people you happen to get on your moving day. They were easy to contact and didn't sound annoyed with all the questions I asked, I just wanted to make sure my bfs items were going in the right hands/boxes (harhar ...) it was nice to see how quickly they were able to set a moving date and calculate and estimate price. I had several questions from the get go that Alex answered with certainty and ease. He calmed me down when I brought up certain items and made sure I was in good hands. My bf decided to move to a new place, so I looked online for some movers and stumbled upon them. I didn't realize that moving was such a big issue but it really is, All In Moving was able to make the process very efficient, it gave us great relief that he could move into a place ASAP. Customer service was fantastic. The movers were kind and clean, and had no issues with lifting some of the heavier boxes. Nothing was gone, the furniture was still intact. BEWARE OF CRAPPY SERVICE!!! This just happened on March 11, 2019: Now I understand that moving can be pricy, but I've used this company before and I was not even close to being pleased with the work or lack there of. Did they switch ownership or something because the customer service was terrible to say the least!! Before we started with them we told them how much money we had and how much time we had. The guys acted like they didn't understand that concept until it came close to paying up. Guys were on their cell phones half the time Speaking Russian, only two out of the three moved the things inside while one stayed in the truck, and when me and my family offered to help so we could meet our deadline of completion they turned down our assistance as if they could get the job done much quicker and more efficient. It's almost as if they purposefully went slow just to get the most money out of the move. Then I finally talked to the manager on the phone which didn't help. He acted like he had a hearing problem and kept on stating that they weren't charging us double drive time like other companies, that we were getting a discount, and that we had to pay whatever the total was despite our concerns at the time. After that conversation he said that he would stop the time and we would only have to pay a quoted price. At the end it was $100 more than that quoted price so they didn't even hold up their end of the bargain. All this crap not to even put items together and put them in their appropriate places. I'm pretty sure that it I went with some other company my house wouldn't be looking like people just threw our shit inside and left. I recommend that if you're looking for a good moving company that you look elsewhere. Don't let this crap happen to you. Don't spend your money here with them. read more

Since my friends are lazy, I just rented All in Moving services and they did a great job. I had a lot of crap and what not, but I definitely wouldn't have been able to move all my things alone. It took about 3 hours which was the minimum time to get everything done. Thanks so much for helping because I'm only 96 lbs with barely any muscle. After a botched move job, I filed a claim for a full refund and damages last TWO saturdays ago after a botched job/service performance by their movers. I was told I would hear back within 3-5 days at the latest. I never received a call. I then called this past Thursday and was told I would receive a call that day. Never got a call and it's now today is Thursday and I called and demanded a refund and had a rude, mean spirited "claims associate" try and gaslight me into believing a $100 refund (after spending almost $1000 on botched services) was suitable. Hiring this company resulted in: Damaged furniture Damaged drywall Scuffed walls Incomplete job (boxes and furniture left in our garage and not moved into the home) Only 2 movers when the contract was for 3 movers (this made a big difference) Over 2 hour delay by the movers between locations (took my family and I just over 1 hour to drive the same distance) My husband moved over half of all items and was involved in moving almost all of the heavy items given the lack of experience or capacity by the movers My husband and brother almost being crushed by a fridge that your employee suggested we hoist over a balcony The furniture was never assembled by the movers despite it being their contractual obligation and my husband had to do it after they left And many other terrible things In short, they have had every opportunity to rectify this situation and couldn't care less about this review or the awful experience and cost to our family. Hi Everyone! For those considering a move, here's a few things to note about All In moving services: - The move went just OK. Expect some damage. It's inevitable with movers and all of them over my course of moving have had the same issues. They are on the clock per hour but for whatever reason, they take short cuts when they can. A high gloss coffee table was marred. So was a drawer on my bedroom under bed dresser. I have yet to look at my other items but do be aware. - I asked them to use runners for my new carpet which they did so that's definitely a plus. - they were fast, expedient and professional however, the lead kept taking off his mask, even when I told him I had a pre-existing health condition, the mask would go back on but eventually back off and then back on selectively. He even open sneezed with his mask around his chin at my old home and I had no where to run or hide as I was boxed in the kitchen. I get it, but realize there is a hi rate of covid infections in Cali. Working with masks is annoying, but I don't want to catch covid and die. So if you or your loved ones want to minimize your risk factor, I strongly recommend consider using another company. This would have been a clear 4 star move except for the mask situation. I ended up giving them roughly a 20% tip overall which I'm happy to for otherwise expedient and good service. read more

I guess we got a different service from these guys. They told us based on what I had told them we owned that it would be a 26ft truck and 5 hours to do the move. The truck they sent was too small so the guys spent 2.5 hours just loading it. They didn't even get everything we had to go back the next day with our cars and our family's cars to get the rest of the stuff in the garage. On top of this, we were charged for 7.5 hours...a far cry from the 5 they said it would take. Then...to make matters worse, they charged our account twice and it took 4 days for that second charge to fall off. The guys who moved us were nice and careful with everything only 1 item broke and I'd blame that more on how we packed it then the team that moved us..but fuck the main office. I used the $20 for $50 deal and what a deal it was! I moved from San Francisco down to LA and was scared to hire movers because I always hear horror stories about them. But All in Moving was A-OK. They delivered my stuff when they said they would, didn't pull any of that "We can't pull your stuff up in the moving truck so we have to get a small truck and that will be an extra $400 and if you don't pay it, we'll throw your stuff away" crap and very carefully unpacked everything. I have a lot of stuff, and they finished unpacking everything in 5 hours. I mean, i have a TON of stuff. no one should have as much stuff as me. And the price was so reasonable. I got quotes from the big movers but All in Moving beat them all by hundreds of dollars. If you want reliable, caring movers at an affordable price, hire All in. Ended up moving out to San Bernardino which was about an hour plus away from where i originally stayed which was closer to LA. Sadly I had no where to turn when it came to moving ): I asked for help but unfortunately everyone just had to be busy the only day I could move out. This really shows you the struggle with needed some help for moving, but now after using All In Moving I know realized that no one has to worry about asking for help. You easily just pick a company that you desire and all of a sudden its all done for you! *WARNING: READ BEFORE USING THIS COMPANY* This has been hands down, the worst customer service experience we have received from any company, ever. I wish we could make this up. The movers negligently wrapped an expensive glass table that's no longer available in stores, in a blanket, and upon setting it down in our new place, shattered it. Immediately after the break, the mover said "This is 100% my fault, I thought it was plastic. I will make this better" so he took the table with him upon leaving. We put our trust in him that he would make it better. We were wrong. Customer service reached out to us to inform us they were unable to fix the table, unable to compensate us for the cost table (reminder it's not available anymore) and said they would return the table. NOW, IT'S BEEN OVER A MONTH AND 8 DAYS and they STILL HAVE NOT RETURNED OUR BROKEN TABLE. They have said they would call us twice to schedule delivery (after over 4 weeks of complaining) and IT'S STILL NOT HERE. Once I stayed home from work waiting, no call. I went with this company because they quoted the lowest rate ($85/hr for 2 movers vs. $110 at other companies). Unfortunately, it seems like you get what you pay for. The movers themselves were fine people, but they lack attention to detail and are a bit reckless. A few problems with the move: 1. They did not come until I called asking where they are. 2. It took 4 hours to move out. I have the same stuff as last year, and that company only took 3 hours. This company does not move very fast. 3. They forgot some stuff in the corner of our apartment building parking garage. I had to go back and haul the stuff to my new place after my apartment management alerted me of some misplaced items. 4. I've used this company twice now. Most recently in June. They were incredibly efficient and cautious with all the covid regulations. At the end of the move I had an extra chaise lounge that wouldn't fit in my new place and they even dropped that off at the Salvation Army after my delivery with out charging extra. They wrapped all of my furniture very carefully. They also disassembling and reassembling everything for me. I highly recommend them. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! I was recommended by a coworker to use them to help me move over the weekend. I was told there would be no hidden charges and the price per hour is set. When it came time for me to pay, I decided to pay in cash (since there is a discount). I asked the mover if I was going to get a receipt and he said "yeah they're gonna send it now", as he read me off the verbiage about damaged items etc, and asked me to sign. To move a 500sqft studio from area codes 90012 to 90066 was $765. That's a 20-30 min drive. Why was it so much you might ask? Oh, because the movers decided to take an 1.5hr break and then charge me for it in the "comments" section of the invoice. I was charged $139 for them to eat! You can clearly see the breakdown of my actual move, and just an additional BS charge after the fact. The movers knowingly took advantage of me, which is a form of fraud. I have emailed and called All In trying to rectify this but i haven't received any sort of response from the company. read more

Highly recommend All In Moving Services! I booked the day before a big move so if you're in a bind, they have you covered. Sam and Hike were promptly on-time and extremely helpful and polite throughout the entire process. They first assessed what items needed to be moved and even packed any remaining smaller or oddly shaped items -- lifesaver. All of my items were safely wrapped with blankets and heavy duty plastic wrap - nothing was damaged at all and there were a lot of stairs and tight turns. Upon arriving to my new home, Sam and Hike unloaded and moved all my items (no matter how big or heavy) to the exact place I wanted them and unwrapped and disposed of all the plastic. This was a big move. The pickup location was on the second floor and the dropoff had floor levels and Sam and Hike moved all my items in record speed and humor which helped the process immensely. They even helped put a new rug under an existing heavy bed and moved old furniture outside for disposal. All in all, a great company to hire. I highly recommend. read more

They were very apologetic about the service I received years ago and offered me a substantial refund to compensate me for my poor service even though it's been nearly 5 years. I was blown away! I really appreciate that they are trying to grow their company and care enough to make that happen. Honestly, a heartfelt apology would have made a difference to me but the refund was certainly icing on the cake. UPDATE - after opening a complaint with their customer care team, I'm really impressed with the customer service. I detailed my bad experience with the crew, the bill as a result of what I believed to be inexperienced and inefficient movers, and the estimation process. The customer care team really took the time to reach out to me and make sure we connected and they understood the situation, they respectfully addressed each of my concerns from a personnel perspective and a company process perspective, and in the end even refunded part of my bill. There was great and persistent follow-up all the way through the end, which says a lot. Original review: I got an estimate to move a 1 bedroom loft that was going to take 2-3 hours with two guys, and it turned into a +7 hour move where they also charged me extra to bring in an extra guy because they were slow AF. Only 1 guy actually knew what he was doing but was basically on the phone the entire time, and the other two seemed completely unfamiliar with how to effectively or efficiently move anything. A lot of sitting around waiting for direction?!? In total I paid over $600 to move my 1 bedroom apartment with one couch, one tv, one bed and two dressers. They also didn't have enough closet boxes for my clothes, which are supposed to be included so I had to go out and buy my own. After 7 hours, I honestly didn't even have the energy to tell them it was ridiculous that because of their unprofessionalism the move was more than 2x the estimate, I wanted them to get the heck out of my face. I've used several moving services and this one by far was the worst. Just super unprofessional, but most of all slow AF and I had to pay extra because they were horrible.
