Food was very delicious. Service was great. Got our food very fast. Will definitely be back again.

Kalua Pork. I added the Sriracha and soy sauce. Delicious!

Stopped in on my way home from work for an early dinner. Ordered the Kalua Pork with rice and Mac salad. OMG it was delicious! Some of the best I've had. Mac salad was excellent and the rice was cooked perfectly. You order at the counter and it was delivered in under 5 minutes. If I'm ever in this area again I will be back!

Love this place for great authentic Hawaiian food at a fair price. Every time I come here I get great customer service and the food is cooked perfectly, the Spam Musubi has a nice amount of sauce cooked into it and always has a nice crisp to it. The Garlic Shrimp is my go to but they have a great Kalua Pork, Tuna Poke Bowl, and Loco Moco!

Aloha to good Hawaiian food in the Renton area! This place has got all the classic Hawaiian comfort foods at a reasonable price. I tried the mochiko chicken but I'd like to come back and try all the other items on the menu. Food Mochiko chicken is one of my favorite ways of eating chicken and I always get it to gauge a Hawaiian restaurant. The chicken was juicy and in the perfect bite size. The outside was just a bit crispy, but personally I like it super crispy. I really liked the Mac salad though because it was not smothered in sauce and had good flavor to it still. There's a nice sauce area where you can put on as much other sauces like spicy mayo. Atmosphere Casual and laid back. There's some nice wall art of the Hawaiian islands and there's also outdoor seating for when it gets warmer outside. Pricing Reasonable and cheap prices for Hawaiian food compared to other restaurants that serve Hawaiian food. Service  Self service here so you'll have to bus your own tables, get your own water, and silverware. The staff here is super friendly and checked in on me halfway thru eating even. I didn't expect it but it was nice. Other Plenty of parking in front of this strip mall and is shared with other restaurants. And it's nearby IKEA too!

We happened upon this gem when we were looking for a spot to grab dinner on the run after and three hour escapade at IKEA! Glad we found our new go to! I haven't had a ton of Hawaiian food but they had what I did know about - Kalua pork and some Poké! Many do the dishes had some Asian flare, which made it all the more exciting! We got those two as well as some teriyaki (our six year old is a connoisseur of fine teriyaki!) and, our new favorite dish, Katsu loco! Everything was good and the Katsu loco was a cut above everything! A play (obviously) on the Moco Loco with Katsu chicken, eggs, gravy and rice. It was the perfect combo dish - excellent chicken, some creamy yolk and some gravy, that while likely from a packet, was just right! Four dishes for five of us left everyone full but not so stuffed that the kids didn't want bubble tea! We called it in and about 15 minutes later we were set. Folks cooking we're friendly and knew what they were doing! End of the day, you should check this place out - it's well worth your time!

I'm from Cali and we have wonder poly food. This was my first time here and wanted some poly food and this is not the place. The food I order was Beach Boy plate and we order the garlic chicken. Both dish's were not great. The rice served over cooked watery and the meat was dry on the beach boy plate. I was so disappointed.

Not having eaten much in the Renton area, I was hungry and looking for a quick team lunch with a colleague. Driving around we spotted aloha and it was sunny so why not. Stepping into the storefront we were greeted with a friendly smile. My friend ordered the Kailua pork and you can have it with vegetables or rice&Mac salad. He opted for the veggies. I ordered the katsu curry and obviously it needs the rice to soak up the curry! Food came out fast and the verdict: 1) Kailua pork was good, not the best, but pretty solid. Personally I would have ordered it with the cabbage, but my friend didnt want it. 2) Katsu curry....that was bomb. The katsu was crispy and the meat was juice. With the savory mild curry, it was delish and there is that part of me wishing I was 10 years younger and I would totally have ordered another plate of it to eat...on...the...spot.

I'm giving them 4 stars because their food tastes so good. I love their Kailua pork moco the best. Talk about the best gravy!! Yum!! As far as customer service, they stink. They don't greet you when you come in. In fact, they look at you like an annoyance. Right in the middle of my order, the gal started walking away. Im like "Um.... My husband would also like to order!" I truly don't know what their issue is. Are they trying to discourage people from coming in?

This is seriously the best Hawaiian BBQ I HAVE EVER HAD. Fresh, cooked to order, and Hawaiian people! Do it! I've already gobbled some of the food up in the pic!

When I tell you they have the best garlic shrimp around.... they have the best garlic shrimp around! I'm constantly craving this, and I'm so happy that it isn't far from me. The people working are always so nice and sweet! This is my favorite Hawaiian place in the Seattle-Tacoma area, and for dessert they carry cakes of paradise which is always a huge plus for me.

First time trying this place and it was not bad for Hawaiian food. Ordered the lau lau combo, saimin and the kalbi. We had lau lau from another Hawaiian restaurant nearby and it was full of fat that I couldn't even enjoy it so I was happy to see that this was filled with meat but honestly wish there was just a tad bit fat in there to soften up the taro more. It was also pretty salty so I just had to load up on the rice with each bite. We probably wouldn't order the kalbi again. It was lacking flavor and prefer to make it at home. We also prefer our Mac salad to be more coated. Overall I'd give it a 3.75/5. I think the Korean owned Hawaiian spot just a few blocks down might be better but I was craving lau lau so I decided to try it out.

We ordered: Oxtail saimin: good flavor, oxtail was tender, broth was light yet flavorful. I like that it comes with a few veggies. Fiesta plate: 2 protein (brisket and pork belly) with rice, Mac salad, and pickle veggies --- this would have been really good if the brisket was not so tough. It was like jerky style and too tough, especially when it's cut really thick like that. Flavor was good though. My favorite thing was the rice. It was a red rice and soft and flavorful. Pork belly was crispy. Portions was good for the price. People are really nice. Definitely a place to go if you want homey food

My daughter ordered their Chicken Katsu plate and mine was the Kalua Pig plate. My daughter enjoyed the katsu and it was such generous portion. However I didn't enjoy my kalua pork. It had an amazing smokey aroma but the taste was nothing but just salt. The side dishes were very tasty however. At first, I was trying my best to eat it with rice but the salt in the end really got to me. Especially I have high BP, so I decided to let the lady behind the counter know. It was very nice of her to remake it but it was still very salty. By then, I didn't want to eat it anymore. She offered to remake it for the third time as the chef was feeling bad about it. I told her, it's OK. My mouth only tasted salt and I had chucked down so much water including the free drinks she offered. I was already full. My daughter tasted it and said it was OK and told me she would eat my kalua pork and I could have her leftover half of chicken katsu. Tomorrow is New Year's Eve. It will be our dinner if we can't find a restaurant open.

Thankfully dine-in is back open again, so we got here on a Saturday morning around 11:20am to indoor seating that was nearly full and a small line that was forming at the front counter. Walls have a bunch of photo frames, and overall place felt very homely. They have a ton of Hawaiian style plates and even burgers and some seafood, though we and most others got the former to eat. I ordered their chicken and pork combo Hawaiian style plate, and my bestie got their chicken katsu Hawaiian style plate. Portions are huge for both plates and both also came with macaroni salad. They give you sooooo much meat no matter what you get. To go in slightly more detail: - Chicken and pork combo: both meats were flavored very well, and a little sweet too though pretty salty without using the rice as a palette cleanser. Chicken had more depth in its flavor; the pork's flavor was a little too much for my liking, and was slightly harder to chew. Both meats had some sauce hat went onto the rice itself. This didn't detract from my overall experience here, though. - Chicken katsu: we both agreed this was our favorite after exchanging pieces of each other's dish. The katsu is crispy and crunchy, and the chicken itself retained a lot of its juiciness. Katsu sauce on the side is honestly optional since the meat itself is already salty enough. This place does share extremely limited parking with Cakes of Paradise next door, so get here early or be prepared to drive around the area to find some. Just get here, it's a place you can't pass up when you hit up Georgetown!

Parking is scarce, so plan ahead and be patient. We came on a Wednesday and happened to score a parking spot right in front of the bakery. Once you arrive, get in line immediately--there will be one. The woman taking our order was incredibly peppy and friendly, even while juggling everything: taking in-person orders, answering phones, serving customers, and bagging food. Seriously impressive. All the seats were filled, so we ordered everything to-go. We got the famous crispy ginger chicken, spam musubi, and chicken long rice. I was hoping for oxtail soup and asked about it--she explained they only offer it on certain days and recommended calling early in the morning to check, then getting there quickly because it sells out fast. Can't wait to come back and try it. Back at the hotel, we feasted. The crispy ginger chicken is famous for a reason--so flavorful, perfectly crispy, and somehow even better the next day. The chicken long rice was packed with noodles directly in the soup (not separately) so the broth had mostly soaked into the noodles, but it was still deeply flavorful and comforting. The spam musubi leans on the sweeter side, which is great if that's your thing. Overall, this place is all about heart, hustle, and seriously satisfying Hawaiian comfort food. Come early, expect a line, plan for parking--and you'll be rewarded.
