I've had Amano saved in my back pocket for a while now for an easy date night, given it's convenient location on the North side. Finally, tonight we were indecisive and decided to give it a try. The location isn't the prettiest from the outside. It's in a weird, gas station-adjacent strip mall. Inside is a surprisingly cozy, eclectic, and casual Italian diner. We made use of the paper mats and colored pencils. I see now why they recommend reservations; Amano is very intimate. We shared the Pasta Pie-zoni, made with the Cindy and the carbonara. The pizza was decent, although I hoped for a more pungent flavor from the gorgonzola and pesto. I couldn't even taste them over the overpowering sweetness from the balsamic glaze and dates. The pasta filled calzone portion was fun. Very salty, soft pasta (not al dente), and dough crusted with parmesean. The highlight was definitely the crust. Not too thick nor too thin, with good flavor and marinara for dipping. The pie-zoni is great for a family of 3 or two very hungry adults. The tiramisu was pretty disappointing, and I'd just skip dessert here altogether. Amano's serves novelty dishes rather than authentic or classy Italian. The pasta filled calzone held it's form pretty well, and the famous Fat Baby's looked like they did too. Creative dishes, kind service, and cozy feel. Great spot for a fun date, and very kid-friendly!

Fat baby Fettuccini Alfredo, half of this meal is just bread but the Alfredo delicious and very filling.

The food was delicious! The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. This place is pretty small so a reservation is recommended especially for a weekend. I went with a party of 7 and we were luckily there was enough tables to accommodate that size available. My kids loves the colored pencils and blank paper all the tables had on the tables for just casual drawings, it's looks like if you draw something super cool they might even put it on their wall. Great first experience here for me and my family.

Fantastic! Ordering carry out was super easy and they do an amazing job of packaging to-go orders. The fettuccine carbonara fat baby was separated into multiple containers of bread, pasta (with sauce on it to keep it from being dry), and extra sauce with cheese to pour over and recreate the full experience. It was so good with just the right amount of seasoning and garlic. The pizza was great and "foldable" so it reminded me of pizza in New York. The garlic bread was also tasty. Josh took my order over the phone and also helped me when I was picking it up. He was fantastic! This was the perfect Saturday night option when I wanted great food via carry out. Amano was a win!

Like most people in Vegas, we were visiting. My daughter found this place from TikTok reviews (eye roll here ). I have to say this was absolutely the BEST Italian food I've ever had! Our waitress was so kind and professional we couldn't have had a better experience. Food boxes please, all 5 of us were stuffed!!

If you're visiting Las Vegas this is a must try! These Fat Baby's are TikTok viral and they taste amazing! I love the presentation and how unique of an item these are. There's so many different flavors and vegetarian options it's great for everyone. This hidden gem is great to get outside of the Strip and enjoy some delicious Italian food. This is a super cute mom and pop shop style restaurant with a smaller interior but super cozy for a good meal!

This has consistently been our fav pizza place since moving to Vegas 4 years ago. The staff is so kind and attentive. The food is consistently delicious. My go to orders have been cheese/ half pepperoni Pizza, Caesar salad, chicken piccata with angel hair, carbonara (sub angel hair). The vibes are neighborhood pizza shop that cooks with lots of heart and uses fresh ingredients. From what i understand everything is made from scratch including their Caesar dressing

Great service! Very friendly staff. The food is delicious. My kids saved this as a place they wanted to try when we came back to Vegas. They loved it especially the fat baby pastas. Even 2 teen boys couldn't finish their food. The fat baby was that fat. The dining space is tiny and cozy. Will come back again!

"How come no one ever invites ravioli to a party? He's a little square." Amano hit the spot! I was craving Italian food and passed by all the big chain restaurants to come here , best decision I made all week. Whether you're in the mood for a casual dinner or ready to challenge yourself with a "fat baby" (trust me, it's worth it), Amano delivers quality you just can't find anywhere else. You don't need TikTok, Instagram, or any influencer to tell you this place is legit. Just show up hungry and leave satisfied . Amano does the rest. Authentic flavors, great vibes, good service and food that speaks for itself. Mangia!

A Mano, Las Vegas This place may be tiny, but it packs a serious punch. Come hungry, no, come with a BIG appetite because the portions and flavors do not hold back. A Mano is an intimate, handmade pasta spot that has quickly built a loyal following for doing one thing exceptionally well: fresh, comforting Italian food made by hand (which is exactly what "a mano" means). With only about 7-8 tables, it feels more like a hidden neighborhood gem than a restaurant, and they also offer takeout if you can't snag a seat. Pro tip: try to visit outside of peak hours to make getting a table easier. The staff is absolutely lovely, warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. From the moment you walk in, the simple, homey décor makes you feel like you've stepped into a Nonna's kitchen, where everything is made with love and zero shortcuts. They serve pizzas and pastas, but if you trust me on one thing, order the Fat Baby. This is the real good, gooey stuff. A sourdough cone wrapped around your choice of pasta, with the sauce and noodles cascading from the top... indulgent, messy, and completely worth it. Honestly, that dish alone is all you need. Spectacular. I've been here twice already and will absolutely be back. Highly recommend.

Found this online of must-do in vegas. I can say it was as advertised Great food. Pizza was great. Bread for both were excellent. Definitely should try. Pricey but definitely worth it.

We went in for our 21st anniversary. We had never been there or even heard about it so we decided to try it. It is a very small space compared to most restaurants. It seemed as though it was partial Italian and partial bakery with the way it was sectioned off. From the greeter to the waitress (Brigette I believe) and the guys that were on the bakery side, they never stopped smiling and were so sweet. As for the food we got fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and carbonara fat babies. The bread was amazing. To me it tasted like sourdough. The pasta and sauce was really good just needed the slightest bit of pepper but I was not a huge fan of the chicken that was $10 more. It seamed maybe boiled and I prefer grilled so if I had known that I would have done without the meat but with that being said it still does not affect my review. Everything was delicious. Please excuse the food photo, I took it after I had tried it.

What an amazing place. Great food great service. We were a large party and had a wonderful server. Thank you for making my son's 21st birthday so great

Don't go for the best Italian food, more for the novelty. The sauce was very bland on the Alfredo and really not much pasta in the baby.

    They do not.

Is it recommended for vegetarians, not vegan?

    Yes! They have vegetarian options!

Do you serve beer and wine?

Can you order a fat baby for pickup?

They offer Fat Baby Kits where you can assemble the whole thing at home, but they won't wrap up a whole Fat Baby to go since it'll look like a mess when you get home.

Can you show up without a reservation?

It's better to make reservations since they only have a few tables and get pretty busy

Do they accept reservation for one?

    Yes!

Are you able to accommodate a big group of 25 people ‽?

    No restaurant max is 15

    Does this restaurant serve alcohol?

No alcohol is served. They have Rosemary Lemonade, Pellegrino, Italian Cream Soda, and Soft Drinks.

    Can you reserve a table?

    Yes. It cost though.

Do they deliver to the strip?

I live 5 miles away in the Nortwest and they didn't deliver to me. I had to go pick up. It was worth it though!

What's the price for the Fat Baby? Is it the same as the pastas or the sandwiches?

The price of the Fat Baby depends on the cost of the protein you are including.

What's the price for the fat baby alfredo?

    $15.95

It's only for dine in only

I saw on Facebook that this restaurant serves the "fat baby". A sub stuffed with pasta. But I don't see it on the menu. Are they currently serving it?

Yes..., they were a week-and-a-half ago when I was there. It is not on the menu but they mentioned it and any of their regular sandwiches could be made as a "Fat Baby".

    Do they serve wine?

    No, but you can B.Y.O.B.

Will I be able to order pasta around 1pm? I noticed it's on the dinner menu and I know most places won't serve the entree if it's on the dinner menu.

It's tucked away and has that fun hidden-gem feel, but the pizza is the real star. Every slice tastes oven-fresh, the ingredients are quality, and the flavor never disappoints. It's perfect for grabbing a quick bite, whether you're heading out for the night or looking for a late-night snack. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the location inside a major Vegas resort. Visited on June 22 after hearing all the buzz about Secret Pizza. Unless you've done your homework…read moreand read the reviews, finding this hidden spot can be a challenge. After finally locating it, I almost wished I had kept it a secret. Be prepared to wait. We stood in line for about 25 minutes, which by all accounts seems to be the norm here. After ordering, we waited another 20 minutes for our pizza to bake. Seating is another challenge--inside the restaurant there is very limited bar stool seating. We had to search for available seating in the lobby area and compete with others for a place to sit while enjoying our pizza. We ordered a whole pie--half pepperoni and mushrooms, and half ricotta with pepperoni. The pepperoni and mushroom side was decent, but the ricotta side missed the mark. The ricotta was piled on so heavily that it completely overpowered the pizza. Combined with the pepperoni, it made each slice extremely greasy. There was hardly any tomato sauce, making it taste more like a white pizza than a traditional pie. We ended up leaving half of it uneaten. The one positive was the crust. It was thin, crispy, and had a nice texture with a good chew. With so many excellent pizza options in Las Vegas, this experience did not live up to the hype for us. The hidden location adds to the novelty, but between the long wait, limited seating, and pizza that fell short of expectations, we would not go out of our way to return.
