Giving this restaurant has almost 5 stars I really had high expectations. We ordered food for delivery and it arrived quickly which was great. However, the food was nothing to rave about. The pork fried rice was overcooked, the Mongolian beef was very tough and the vegetables that were with it were soggy. On a high note the chicken chowmein was good but not great. Finally some good American-style Chinese food in Tracy. Based on one visit- we had Wonton soup, pot stickers, beef with snow peas, and double mushroom chicken. It was all good- the soup has a nice broth with carrots and bok choy, the wontons were good and had a nice amount of pork filling. Same with potstickers, good filling, and a nice decently spicy chili sauce to go with. The chicken and beef dishes were both nice, not greasy or gloppy like many of the other Chinese joints out this way. We were going for things our kids would like so we steered away from the spicier dishes but I will definitely be back to try some of those. Our order came with a free appetizer- I chose the crab puff (aka crab Rangoon) which is not really a favorite, the cream cheese doesn't do it for me, so next time maybe I'll just do the fried wonton skins (another one of the free appetizer options). We got takeout but the interior has been spruced up a lot from the previous incarnation of Jade Garden. That place had really slipped to the point the drop ceiling was falling apart and they were storing extra dishes in the bathroom, and glad to see the new ownership has fixed it up so that I wouldn't mind dining in again. Update: been here a couple more times for dine-in. The service is attentive and friendly and I continue to be pleased with the food, if not blown away. I recommend the steamed fish with ginger and scallions. I also tried their salt and pepper wings which were quite tasty, and I look forward to trying more. read more

Finally a good Chinese food spot in Tracy! I've tried most of the other Chinese restaurants in town and have been disappointed in every one. I was actually surprised when Amazing Kitchen turned out to be good. It lives up to its name. The lunch special (available every day and for to go orders too) is a great value. For around $7-8, you get soup, a fried wonton, an egg roll, a main dish, and your choice of chow mein, steamed rice, or fried rice. There's a select list of lunch specials but they are very accommodating, and have let me choose other entrees from the menu to make a special. My favorite is the lemon chicken with chow mein or the Szechuan chicken with sauce in the side (perfect amount of heat/spice) with fried rice. Service is quick and the staff is friendly. read more

Wow.... the food here is AMAZING! We have came twice this week and I just want to eat here every day! The service is great. Very nice waitress both times. The restaurant isn't the fanciest, but it's clean. We have ordered Pot stickers, steamed rice, house chow fun, Hong Kong style crispy noodles, salt & pepper fish, sweet and sour pork and honey walnut chicken. We received a free appetizer of crab puffs both times. EVERYTHING was delicious! FRESH and full of flavor. Also, really nice portions! Both times we have taken more than half of our food home. I really can't say enough good things of this place. It is our new FAVORITE restaurant. And they deliver!!! read more

Chinese food is not my favorite. It's not even a close second. This place HANDS DOWN is just as it's name. It is an amazing kitchen. Mixed veggie delux lunch special was on point. My bf ordered the garlic chicken lunch special. Everything was cooked to perfection. Chicken was just right, vegetables nicely sautéed. No soggy noodles, no overcooked or oily rice. The wontons and egg rolls were crisp and delicious. Our waitress was very pleasant! She poured my bf more water, and their water container had cut oranges in it; made for a nice refreshing take on a simple glass of water. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. So, they try really hard. It's a nice touch that they give you free fried won tons or crab puff appetizers depending on how much your bill is. Their food is average though. I like their garlic eggplant dish, it was oily but delicious. We went back & decided to try something else. I had the shrimp with lobster sauce & it was unlike any shrimp with lobster sauce I had ever had before. The dish was really salty for one, for two the sauce had way too much cornstarch. Anywhere else I have had this dish the sauce is a little runny which makes it perfect with steamed rice. Here it was stiff & thick almost like scrambled eggs. My husband ended up eating it because I didn't like it. I'll probably go back & try something else but I'm in no rush to go back. read more
