I asked for a dish modification and they served me a delicious entree. Haven't had Chinese food for awhile and was craving a flavor packed Mongolian beef but with a twist. I ordered Mongolian beef but requested they also add chow fun to it (wide rice noodles) instead of ordering a side of rice as its complement. Wow, what a delicious, spicy, flavorful combination! The beef tender, the noodles softly chewy, lots of onion, red pepper flakes/sauce for the heat , garlic and a bit of ginger to make the sauce have a complex and flavorful punch. Lip burning good. Amazing Wok likely has changed ownership again but their chef delivered in spite of this item being off menu. Bonus is that they stay open from 11am-9pm , 7 days/week so if I'm having a late day and miss lunch hours I can grab a tasty meal to make it my linner. Thank you! read more

Finally. Finally I have found excellent Chinese food in theRWC/San Carlos area. Five years I have been trying places and failing to find food that was better than Panda Express quality (and I like Panda, but I recognize it for what it is - fast food). Ordered from here on a recommendation. We go chow mein, fried rice, pot stickers, walnut chicken. Every single thing was so good. Not too greasy, not overly "MSG". Chow mein had so much flavor! And the walnut chicken surpassed expectations. Pot stickers were perfectly cooked (so many places overcook them) and rice was great too. I was having a hankering for some good ole Seafood Sizzling Rice Soup and the Amazing Wok did not disappoint! Excellent and friendly service, and the food was served hot and fresh. If you haven't tried this kind of soup, I recommend ordering it with a small bowl of steamed rice, some lemon, and adding a small amount of red chili oil (or you'll choke a bit from the chili fumes if you go overboard with it lol!) The soup is large portioned, the seafood plentiful, and delicious! The menu was very traditional and filled with your typical favorites and even some not so favorites. For me that just means anything with eggplant in it. Really horrible service. We wanted to order the dry cooked mock chicken on Uber Eats but they didn't have it on the menu. We called twice and told them we want the mock chicken, but ended up getting the wrong order.
