I needed tires for my truck. Tires are $1200. I usually go to Costco, they're the cheapest I've found, and they have great service. However, lately I've been trying to spend money in my community, and I chose this shop. Big mistake. After planning my day around this transaction, it went sour. I specifically asked to have the white tire logos installed facing outward they made a mistake and I stalled them backwards. When I complained the guy Steve said I had requested that they'd be installed the way they did. I requested that they correct them and Steve became annoyed and started avoiding me. He said it would be a while if I wanted them corrected. I asked how long (I had to pick my kid up at school), but he said he didn't know with a smirk in his face. Everybody makes mistakes... it's how you correct them that makes a difference. Don't lie to my face! I was excited to get new tires, it's a big purchase. This guy Steve blew it for me. They eventually corrected my tires, but only after a long wait. I wouldn't recommend this shop just based on this experience. If they lied to my face over a simple mistake, I can't imagine the conundrum coming to them with real issues will cause. read more

Longtime customer - last visit left me disappointed. As a woman, I try to put air in my tires at local gas stations - most times the air gauges either do not work, or the area near the air station is filled with unsavory characters who leave me feeling uneasy when I am bent over putting air into my tires. Thank you America's tires - until this last incident, they would always check my tires and inflate them to the right amount. My last air check, the person filling the tires recommended I have my rear tires rotated to the front until I could get my other tires replaced. I made an online appointment, took a day off work, woke up early and even arrived a few minutes early for my appointment. The technician took my keys, went over to my vehicle, inspected it, etc, and after a few moments, came over to me and with a smile said "Where do I begin?" Apparently he was making fun of my car. I explained that on the previous air tire check it was recommended that my rear tires be rotated to the front of the car. The technician told me that he could/would not rotate my tires. Fine I said and left. I actually cried a little driving away, being humiliated. I've gone to this place for years, after going other places, other tire companies. I have always recommended America's tires to my friends who live nearby, people who have complained about not having a place to take their tires for flat repair, etc. This last experience left me so humiliated. When I opened up for a few friends on what the technician said about my car, they could only remark on how unprofessional and tacky the comments were. I have no wish or desire to humiliate the employee who made the disparaging comments, or even denigrate the facility. In the past they have always been polite and professional. Maybe the tech who inspected my car was having an off day or decided he was the car guru and wanted to scare me into getting new tires. I don't know. It would be nice that anytime a customer goes into their facility, they are treated with respect, not knowing someone's financial situation. Unknown to the tech, the money that I could have spent on new tires, and a few other things I need was instead spent visiting a family member who lives out of state who needed some help at the time. To me it was fly out and help family member the best I can, or have some repairs made. I chose the family member. The tech had no way of knowing that - instead it was let me make fun of this lady's car. Not cool. I will either look for a new place just to get air put in my tires, or brave the sketchy men who like to linger around the air pumps at gas stations next time when I go to fill up my tires. Again, the company has always treated me with professionalism when I've gone to them in the past. Perhaps that can be their experience going forward. read more

Worse America's tire place out of all the ones around the area. I've been buying and coming to America's Tire my whole life. This one is trash, I got a nail in one tire and it's taking them more than 2 hours to even have it on the bay. I've been to others and it's less than 30 minutes. Avoid this one! There is no sense of urgency. As everyone here mentioned quality and customer service is bad. This place really ruined a good life long customer, I'm disappointed and will look for other tire shops. Hard to believe I am writing such a positive review for a tire shop, but my experience with AT Fullerton was outstanding! Even though my car (Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti Sport) only had 22,000 miles, the tires were shot to the point that they had to be replaced right away. In a panic I ordered the wrong tires online and since my appointment was for the next day (bonus!) I called and spoke to Anthony the morning of my appointment and he quickly solved my problem for me. My wife took the car in at the appointed time (pulled right into the service bay) and 48 minutes later drove off with 4 new tires installed. Could not be happier, and the fact that they are only a mile or so from our house makes the experience even better. AT will be the tire provider for our 2 cars moving forward - thanks for the great service! read more

This place needs a top rate manager to effectively and efficiently run this place. Lots of black shirt workers and about 4 red shirt Supervisor type roles. I could not identify the top dog. This place is QUITE--more like library. Staff must be paid hourly as nobody's in a rush. Staff does not inform walk-in/emergency customer their wait time may be two plus hours due to previously scheduled appointments. Red shirt Staff walks around alot. They should utilize technology to communicate within and to customers. They walk around looking for a customer rather that calling on speaker or cellphone. A waste of time. Black shirts walk a slow pace as they perform repairs. Lots of discussion on how to address repair issues. I know why McDonald's didn't want these laborers working for $20 an hour. Again, a good manager is definitely needed at the Fullerton,CA location. read more

This pass Saturday I had an appointment to change my 4 car's tires . I got there 15 min before my appointment. Somebody helped me to check in and pay my service. I had to wait 50min to see my car be moved inside to change the new tires but the new tires were changed in just 10min. When I got to the other Auto Service for the Alignment they show me that the tires were set up incorrectly. One rear tire In the front and one front tire In the back. 35/40 40/35 I can see that they don't care the customer satisfaction, they are so sloppy and irresponsible. The manager from the other auto service call to America's tire to complain about it but they ignored. So glad at the place that I got my car's alignment the manager and technician showed me the mistake. So glad I didn't have to drive long distance to the other shop but I feel the difference driving my car. Next time I won't had to back again a place like this, all the employees working at the auto service don't have a license as a technician or certification as well. I recently got a flat tire while on the freeway. I called and spoke with the Assistant Manager Luis G., who had the tire size I needed to get me back on the road. He went and double checked to ensure the tire was in stock. After confirming, I had my car towed to this America's Tire location and Luis continued to provide me with great care and service from our initial phone call, to seeing me through with leaving with the two new front tires in my preferred tire brand/model, and the size that I needed. I would absolutely recommend coming to this Americas's Tire and working with Luis, if he's available. A customer for 12+ years with America's Tire in Fullerton, CA. In January 2024 they patched one tire for free. On 11/12/24 I returned to have America's Tire recheck the patched tire as it started losing air a couple months ago. Joshua was extremely helpful, professional and kind. Upon inspecting the tire, Joshua explained to me the tire patched was not repairable and that a new tire is recommended. Joshua confirmed all four tires were manufactured in 2023, so they were relatively new. Joshua waived the price of the new tire. This really surprised me as I was expecting to pay for a new tire. This saved me money. I move to Washington soon and feel peace of mind knowing my tires are safe for the long journey. Big shout out to Martin at America's Tire. He provided great customer service & helped me out when I was in a bind. I had to get 4 new tires for my BMW but they needed to be a very specific set which was $$$. He helped me out as these tires are typically considered special order or not typically in stock in stores. He knew I needed them ASAP. As it was a lease return & BMW is very picky on what tires are on the vehicles. I called around 5pm to check stock and they told me to swing by because they had them and they close at 6 but put me in line. Service was quick and efficient and they were very friendly & also made sure you didn't feel rushed even though they were super super busy. Our tire was losing PSI even though we filled it with air. We called in and they said they could immediately take us in. We parked in the lot and walked in and got help instantly. They tried to sell us new wipers but we declined. Took about 30 minute wait then got called in to park in the service stall where they helped fix our tire. Turns out there was a nail. I came to this location on a Monday at approximately 9:30AM to have a nail removed from the driver's side tire. It was a busy morning, I waited about 22 mins to have a technician meet with me to consult. I waited from 10:15AM to 11:45AM for my car to be on the bay. The car was ready by 12:30PM when I had an estimated finish time of 01:30PM. The service was free of charge. I will provide another review once I replace all 4 tires! read more

I was driving back from LA Saturday and a large piece of metal in the road demolished my right front tire. I looked around on Yelp and called ahead. The guy on the phone was a real human who worked at the location and gave great advice - which tires were best, how to use the online resources to make an appointment, etc. I made an appointment for Tuesday and was in and out in under an hour. I had such a great experience here. I came here because I had a nail in my tire and Tesla said they wouldn't fix it, hence, would need to buy a new tire from them. Immediately dreading that, I googled shops that would patch tires. I stumbled upon America's tire and decided to pop into this location without an appointment. The guys there were super helpful and said they could repair my tire at no cost, which was great. They said they would repair it by a certain time and it was fixed by the time they said it would be fixed. Imagine that. On time service and managed expectations all around. They even changed the fixed tire with the loner. They literally saved me about 500 dollars! I'll be recommending all of my friends to come here for any car issues. Since tire patching is free, I would recommend tipping them a bit for their service! read more

I use to love coming here for my tires and rotation but I feel this place is going down hill very unprofessional and stripping my bolt on my Honda pissed me off. I've been to an America's Tire before but never to this location. It wad quite busy even on a Wednesday morning. At other locations, there is a drive thru spot where you have to check in but here, there was no spot to check in. You just parked and walked inside to talk to someone. I came here for new tires and had to wait about 1.5 hours which is standard for no appointment. They were pretty quick during check in but it started to get pretty crowded after 12 and a lot of customers were antsy. The person that helped me try to get tires that were affordable and showed me all the options he had in stock which was nice. Overall 4/5. read more

I had an appointment for the rotation at 11 today. I was waiting until the service is done but the mechanic called me, one of studs on the driver side was broken and he gave me the repair sheet to send another location called "One Way" autoshop near Lincoln and Euclid. He said we pay for that. Free... I understood it might be wear and tear. So I went to One Way autoshop and waited until they replace the stud. It was done within 30 mins to process the order until the replacement was completely done. I got home back without double check over there. I noticed one of my lug nut was missing. I called the auto shop but they said America's Tire does has it and put it back, not us... I got soooooo upset for the first time since I became a loyal customer in 2002. Never ever happened to me this kind of bad service. Not reliable !!! I had to go back to America's Tire. I felt so terrible and so hungry at the same time. Disaster for me... I told the mecanic as well as a manager right away but the new manager, Eddie, said there is miscommunication between here and One Way autoshop. He apologized about the mistake but I can tell the safety is first no matter what. It doesn't matter whose fault. The service must be completely done without mistakes. Once you drive so fast on the freeway without lug nut, imagine the result...!!!! Big accident will happen in the future. I also noticed today, there were only new staffs at the front and a new mager less than 6 months. All new.... What is going on here??? I've been a loyal customer since 2002. I never had this kind of mistake by mecanics and I feel so frastrated. I got so upset. I recommended this location all the time but to be honest, I can only give 2 stars this time.
