DO NOT GO HERE!! They lied and claimed my tires were too old to put air in them even though the tread was healthy. They deceive customers and try to get them to buy new tires even when you don't need them. They claim it's illegal in CA to put air in tires past a certain year regardless of how healthy the tread. No such law exists in CA. They are scammers. I took my car down the street to Firestone and they put air in the tires no questions asked. read more

This review is over a month late, but better late than never, right? Last month I arrived in LaQuinta late at night and got a blowout on the sidewall of one tire. Next day I was towed to America's tire where they gave me a great price on four new tires which I'd been needing, as well as a rim for one, so I'd now have a spare. They were very efficient and friendly and even assisted with selling my sister the 4 new tires she's been needing! Hands down the best customer service I have ever had at any business in a long time. The staff greeted people as they waited in line (it's a shame that this is so novel, but it is--it feels nice to be acknowledged while waiting). Brandon helped me out and was efficient and professional. There was a bit of a mix up in getting my tires done, but I could tell they were genuinely upset it happened and did whatever they could to make it right. I took my other vehicle back to get a nail repair done and it was no charge! The guys remembered me from the time I was there a few weeks ago and were super friendly. Great customer service. I came in to get my tires checked because a low pressure sensor was on. Irvin was great. I personally saw home have to deal with a completely helpless lady who was so so lost. Parked backwards in the line, couldn't figure out how to turn around. Irvin displayed complete patients with this senior citizen. Extremely disappointing. I've put tires on several cars at this place. The service has normally been good & they took care of Classic Cars for us. Unfortunately not so today. Extremely inept check in the parking lot & then they want you to check in again at the desk. Unfortunately they don't say anything about this after putting our name in at a canopy in the parking lot. Very poor communication & interrupted by a guy from inside to tell the outside man he messed up. Guys I've personally seen extending great customer service in the past act like they could care less. Now over 2 hours to get 1 tire fixed & it's very likely they will lose a customer. More importantly I will not be recommending them like I've done in the past. Staffed and managed by professionals at every level. Sent my wife here by herself to get new tires on her hot rod. They weren't pushy, no useless upsells, and ended up recommending the same tires I wanted to her get. I've taken my Jeep here for aftermarket wheel and tires installs, never had a hassle, even put my old wheels back in the box. I would give this place 5 stars if they had a better caring selection of used tires. The always repair or take out nails from your tires for free. I love that about this place. The service is pretty fast considering how big and busy they are. I feel like this is the Jensens of tire spots in the desert, you will probably pay a little more for your tires, however you know that the process will be successful and that they are professionals. If you have a nail in your tire come here they will take care of you, and they will be honest about the state of your car. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this tire shop. First of all Luis recommended a great set of ZR 20's for my high-performance sports car. We were able to find a terrific value without compromise in quality. The tires came in that same day but unfortunately it was too close to closing time for me to get over there with the wheels. The next morning I showed up at opening and the place was already bustling with customers. So when it was my turn to get to the counter Brandon shook my hand and took the lead on my wheel/tire project. He assured me that he would assign just the right guy for my job since I was a little apprehensive because of the wheels are a brilliant white and no longer in production. About an hour and a half later they called me to tell me that they were ready to be picked up and when I arrived they were even more beautiful than I could imagine. I was in Thermal for a horse show and I hit a huge pothole that shredded the two tires on the driver's side of my car. I had it towed to this location on a Friday evening. I needed four new tires and luckily my rims weren't damaged too badly. My car was ready to pick up Sat. afternoon. I dealt with Larry throughout the whole process - from my first phone call to explain what happened until I came in to pay and pick up the car, and he was so helpful, professional, and kind. Unfortunately, I had a problem with the right front tire going flat on my drive back to Thermal. So I once again had it towed back to the tire store in Indio. They were closed on Sunday and I booked another night at the hotel so I could get it fixed on Monday. Larry happened to drive by on Sunday and saw my car out front. He took the time to fix the tire on his day off. He made sure the car was safe to drive and spoke to both me and my husband (who wasn't with me) to explain everything. I was so thankful to get back on the road and get home on Sunday! A bit of additional work was required, but Larry coordinated everything with our local America's Tire in north San Diego county and I am very happy with my new tires. :-) It wasn't quite the fun weekend I had imagined, but this trip restored my faith that there are still good people out there who are compassionate and willing to take the time to do the right thing. Thank you Larry for caring so much and for going the extra mile for us. We are long time customers of America's Tire and will continue to be because of this experience. read more

I had to buy a tire their salesman made a mistake on . STAY AWAY! They put on a tire I did not ask for and charged me for it . I don't work for them so why is the error mine? The employee was trying to speak to me as if he had some legal background, but he did not know what litigation was. He did not understand that a car has 4 tires not 3. I did not accept that tire , but was charged for it. I was in a hurry to drive back to Phoenix so I was stuck. The person had a Nike sleeve on his arm . I guess the customer is wrong and I pay for the mistakes they made. Since they had my credit card and need a tire put on I was stuck. In summary 2+2=5 here . P.S. They should not try to use adjectives in situations that don't call for them . The passive aggressive threats were pretty dumb, confusing, Idiotic , and lacked reality . It's cheap , but don't expect anyone to understand basic arithmetic. read more

Albert and Steve did a great job finding tires for my work truck and wives Ford Fusion. Steve directed us from Michelins energy savers to pirellis P7 all seasons plus. It saved us 400 dollars and they have a 70k mile warranty! They grip just as well if not better then the michelins. Albert checked us out and was very efficient and friendly. Visited America's Tires this morning and they had me wait 22 minutes before they attended me. They have this new system (I say new because I have not seen it before and this is my go to tire place) where they take your name and then assist you when their phones slow down. I was #3 in line when I checked in but it took them 22 minutes to get to me because of all the calls they were taking. I feel they need to serve customers who walk in before the phones but I guess that's not their policy. I might give them another chance but now we have more options in the valley. read more

This is a great location. Make an appointment if you can, but all these guys work their butt off and they're super friendly. Which says a lot considering it's over 110 degrees in the summer and these guys are working without air conditioning. They won't rip you off, and will do their best to give you the best deal possible. Patience and kindness as a customer goes a long way. And if you're a returning customer with this company - they will notice. Randomly get a screw/nail in a tire you just bought? Don't be surprised if they bend over backwards to hook it up. I had a flat tire with a nail in it I called early in the morning as soon as they open they told me no problem bring it down I asked them how much a patch would be they told me the patch was free I said I'm sorry I think I'm having trouble hearing you did you say the patch is free? He said yes complementary I explain to him that I did not get my tires at his place of business is that going to be a problem ? He said no it doesn't matter where you got the tires we will fix your tire for free. They also have a line out side you can just pull up to check your tire pressure they will do it for free everybody at this place was very nicely dressed was very courteous and was very helpful I'm amazed because I live in Los Angeles and nothing is free if you're in this area and you need tire service of any kind you should stop by this place is amazing!!! read more

NEVER AGAIN!....Took my Dune Buggy in. Bought set of 4 tires. 3 days later 1 in front flat. Took back and say they checked it and should be ok. Week later flat again. Took back. They then changed the air intake from rubber to metal and said checked tire no screws, slits or cracks etc. Week later flat. Then the other tire was low. Took back again. Asked for new tires as add says if not happy bring back and get new. LIE! Argued with me saying wheels corroded blah blah. Says will take off clean and put back and tire doesnt hold air they replace. Larry Manager calls says took apart but never heard of them having seals and said theres green corrosion etc. I explained the green was from tire runflat stuff and where seals were. I thought I was taking this to a "Tire Guy" but evidently they do not understand you cant use impact wrenches on them or you'll break the seals....they did. But he still arguing and said be done the next day. It was a week. Twice in there in between. They evidently did NOT tell me that they also stripped the lugnut bolt coming off the brake drum and was having Midas fix it. Took my car to be worked on after damaging it and NEVER told me until it was there being worked on. I called Tony at Midas and got the truth that they told him they stripped it and the tire was leaking etc. Tony fixed the drum bolt and so afterthat week I picked back up all the while the Manager Larry NEVER returned my calls and once again the tires went flat. I faxed him. I faxed corporate no response. So took to Desert Wheel Repair as used them since 1990s they are pros and they know. Inspected and sure enough the seals were broke and he fixed them. $280 and Americas Tire not even responding at all as of today. Next stop payment on the credit card and file small claims action but who pays me for the time to do all this? 7 visits on this simple tire purchase? Ive used other store in Palm Desert for YEARS and NEVER had problems like this..... STAY AWAY from the Indio store as long as Larry is put there running it!!!!!! read more

Had an excellent experience today at this location! Very professional and customer-oriented employees, especially "Mario" who helped me! I went in for four new tires and was in and out in just over an hour! Mario even cleaned my rims for me before placing my new tires on, and was very welcoming to all my questions . The new tires were finished off with a beautiful gloss, and the price I paid is definitely the best in town! Mario was great, and never made me feel foolish with all my questions, and I had plenty of them Mario is a true asset to this store and I hope he is given kudos for his wonderful service to me today! read more

first off, the five star is for Temecula, not Hemet. i went to the Hemet store to have a set of 5 spoke all matte black wheels with new tires put on my BMW. the car ius dark blue, almost black, windows are as tinted as law allows, obviously going for a dark look. they put a huge square of silver balance weights on my black wheels! why? they make black weights for black wheels,duh! so the guy at the store recommends i paint them! thats where i left went home and called customer service. i changed from Hemet to the Temecula store. they took me in with no appointment, removed the silver weights, cleaned all the adhesive from them off, rebalanced my tires with black weights, rotated the tires , reset my tpm and i was on my way in no time. 5 stars for temecula, none for hemet. read more
