For what this place offers and what the price is for a pizza, &pizza is by far hands down the most value and customizable pizza you can get. (At least so far as my exploration of the area has been) This location is located outside the mall, but still part of the mall building? You can't access it from the mall, you have to walk outside to access it from the outside, but that's not an issue. There's plenty of seating inside and outside. We decided to get two pizzas and it was enough. We got garlic knots and I got a pizza and basically when I saw that the toppings were unlimited, I piled on with all the toppings. So, what you see in the picture is sort of favorites between me and my wife. The classic garlic knots were wonderful, super garlicky and buttery. For $12, you just can't beat it. And historically if you look back, prices used to be $7/pizza but with everything going up and price, $12 is still really good value for what it is. I enjoyed &pizza and definitely will either visit this store or others around the area if I'm in the mood for pizza. read more

Incident Details: Date: Saturday, May 16, 2026 Exact Time: 1:01 PM (when I started creating my pizza) Location: &pizza, 1961 Chain Bridge Rd, McLean, VA 22102 I went here with my sister to get pizza like we always do. The employee making our food was incredibly nice and polite. When we got the pizza, it was way oilier than usual, so I naturally asked him for plastic gloves so we could eat it. I've been given gloves at this exact location before, so I didn't think anything of it. But out of nowhere, another employee standing right behind him muttered in a low voice, "No! Just for us," completely denying my request in a harsh, unjustified way. The first employee apologized politely, my sister said it was okay, and we just accepted it. We had already told them we were dining in, but what happened next terrified me. The employee in the back who blocked the gloves started staring at me continuously in a very creepy, predatory way. He was checking me out from head to toe with an incredibly rude glare and a sketchy, unsettling smile. It was blatant harassment and a complete violation of my privacy. I felt so deeply threatened and unsafe that I was about to call the police right then and there, but I stopped myself only because my sister was with me and I didn't want to escalate things and scare her further. It got so uncomfortable that I actually turned to him and made a face like, "What is your problem??" Even though we planned on eating inside, I couldn't handle being in that terrifying environment. I felt forced to take my sister and the pizza and immediately escape outside to eat in the extreme heat just to get away from his eyes. I had an overall positive experience placing a catering order from &Pizza. Jeremy, who helped me place my catering order over email, was very helpful and handled my difficult requests with ease. I wanted to order custom pizzas (for people with dietary restrictions) and split the order between 2 credit cards. He handled this perfectly. I even had to change the delivery time the morning of - and it wasn't a problem for him. I have 2 main issues with the ordering process: 1. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone to handle questions. All of their phone lines are ran via Agentic AI (which is very cool to have) but agents have not reached a level to be able to handle every request. When I requested more help, it just told me to email. 2. The online ordering system needs greater customization. To change the delivery time of my order, I had to cancel my order and completely re-create the order. Finally, one of the pizzas I ordered (for my colleague with dietary restrictions) was incorrect and it left him with nothing to eat. I understand that I did not make Jeremy's lift easy and had multiple additional requests so yes mistakes happen. I was overall satisfied with the meal and highly recommend the garlic knots. Relatively new location in Tysons Corner Mall that hits the spot! The restaurant is clean and organized, the staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the food was freshly prepared. The menu was a little different from some of the other locations offering more pre-selected items in addition to the make your own. You really can't go wrong either way because the ingredients are fresh and everything was made to order. We went with the make your own with the spicy sauce, all the meats, onions, and mushrooms topped with pesto and the magherrita pizza topped with arugula. The beauty of this place is there is something for everyone's taste palette so why not check it out? I got the Pineapple Jack'd and it was good but lacking in pineapples. They seem to skimp on ingredients. I do like their pizza dough because it's thin and pretty crispy. However, my boyfriend's Maverick pizza was not that crispy and was so floppy that it would not hold the toppings well. His pizza fell apart super easily. I like how you can customize your pizza and even the specialty ones they have, and when you download the &pizza. .app get a discount the First-time you order! (Highly recommend downloading the .app!) They're mango soda can is pretty good, and they only have three types of garlic bread knots as sides. The pizza also ONLY comes in one size, oblong length with 8 slices! After having a pizza here, you won't like the conventional pizzas that you get at other places. I recently went there to order a take out and was impressed by the changes they have done for social distancing. Big markings on the floor and customers can't get to close to counter and lean over the glass separator. Though I noticed they had less toppings than what they had when I visited them pre covid. Weirdly, Yelp calls this location "McClean", whereas I think most people would call it Tyson's Corner, as it's in the mall and next to the Metro stop that carry that name. It's not my usual location (I've been to all the ones in the DMV except one airport location); the crowd here seemed mostly to be teenage kids and mall employees. As with any &pizza, it's all about options. I topped mine generously. There was a bit of a weird smoky and almost burnt flavor in a few bites that I don't usually get; I couldn't tell if it was the sauce, the "vegan sausage" or something else, but overall the taste was good. The crust here bubbled as nicely as I've ever seen an &crust do, and with my mushrooms, peppers, and kale, I think I did okay getting my veggies in. This location has good seating space and multiple tables (the &pizza closest to my home only has one big table). For those not familiar with &pizza, it's a high quality fast casual pizza chain where they construct the pizza to your liking and blast it in the oven in front of you. The pizza comes out quick and is delicious. The ingredients are all fresh and flavorful. Crust is always good. Sauces too. Try Mike's hot honey as a finishing touch. It's really good. The soda choices are good too. Unique soda fruit mixes in the drink machine and lots of canned options too. The pizzas aren't cheap but reasonable. I didn't want to like this place as much as I did because it's essentially assembly line food, but they've really nailed it for quick and tasty pizza. This is the fancy adult version of a personal pan pizza that we used to get from Pizza Hut for reading books back in elementary school. From what I understand of the menu, you can start with a pre-made concoction as the base or just go completely bonkers and make your own 100% custom and it's all for $10. I almost always get the maverick to start off and then just add some extra stuff like tomatoes, bacon, and banana peppers. If you can, get the short asian girl to make your pizza because she puts some TLC in there. I had to take my wife here after the first time I visited (who was even more skeptical than I) and even she left raving about it. What elevates this place is both the quality of the ingredients (each bursting with taste) and the breadth of toppings (I never want to eat pizzas without eggs again). They put some toppings on pre-bake and others post-bake, which gives a variety of textures. Though the crust is thin, it is very solid - no drooping under mountains of toppings, cheeses, or sauces. That is probably their most impressive feat, as I find most thin crust pizzas get overwhelmed by their toppings. I should also mention the soda fountain. It is full of fun flavors, such as cereal milk and peach-ginger flavor. One soda (I think the root beer) had tarragon flavor. I don't typically go for soda, but its worth getting a cup and like a kid, going back for all of the flavors. The staff is nice but always seem a bit overwhelmed. On one occasion, they couldn't slide my pizza off the baking tray and had to cook a new one. The seating isn't the most comfortable, most of it is high table tops. And they definitely promote how "awesome" they are in phrases throughout the restaurant of their commitment to natural and local ingredients, which is silly given that this is the case in most new restaurants. But these are all nitpicks, and the 5-star rating is well earned by &Pizza. read more

They essentially ignored us, even after standing at the counter for 15 minutes. My family left after being ignored repeatedly, even after getting the staff's attention. We sat down because we were waiting so long, then went back to the counter, then sat down again, etc. Being ignored is extremely rude. One staff member was busy while the others just kicked backed and watched him do all the work. It looks like they had a big online order. And the lazy staff decided to ignore the in person guests and just watch the one person prepare the online order. When we mentioned that we thought it was rude to be ignored, surprise surprise, they ignored that complaint and said nothing. So we promptly left.
