&pizza is one of my favorite create your own/personal pizza places. I was excited to see that one recently opened at Tyson's Corner. It can only be accessed from the outside of the mall, and is located near Cava, BGR, and the Drybar. I was able to attend the soft opening. The staff here was so nice and able to keep up with the pace of having to serve a line of people that went out the door. I love that &pizza has preset pizza options and create your own options. If you haven't tried it yet, I recommend trying the dessert pizza. The one I had a sweet ricotta and berries. It was so yummy! read more

The gnarlic was creamy and not overwhelming garlic taste. The American honey was sweet and salty with a bit of heat. It was all so delicious! If you are in a mood for something sweet, try the dessert pizza, Lori Lane. Fresh berries with a light ricotta cream and powder sugar. My husband and I were lucky enough to try &pizza during their soft opening on 11.21. It was a fun experience, and it was packed! Everyone was excited to check out their new location, and we were excited to try it for the first time. The staff were all very friendly and seemed happy to be there. I tried the Gnarlic pizza, my husband created his own, and we split the Lori Lane. I liked the flavor of the Gnarlic but it was definitely missing something, I recommend trying it with chicken or bacon as added toppings. My husband loved his creation, he asked for his egg on top to be scrambled and was impressed with the result. He must have been impressed by the hot honey because he declared we would be back just for that! I was most impressed by the Lori Lane dessert pizza, I loved the sweet ricotta and fresh fruit topping. The only thing I didn't like was the amount of crust. The way the pizza is prepared means you feel like you are eating bland tasting crust every few bites. read more

Definitely a step above other fast casual pizza joints- in crust and in quality of ingredients. I tried the moonstruck but modified a few things here and there. You put whatever you want on the pizza for one price of $10.25. I would definitely go with one of their "hits" so you don't end up overwhelming your pizza with toppings (like I might have done). I am so excited that &pizza has opened in Tyson mall area. Next door to Cava and Dry Bar. I attended the soft opening events, days before their grand opening and was able to try some pizza. Moonstruck, Gnarlic, and Maverick were my favorites among the ones I tried. I love fresh garlic taste of Gnarlic, and the fresh goat cheese topping for moonstruck and Maverick. I am not disappointed with pizzas at this location. During the soft opening, the employees passed around samples of pizza and the dessert pizza, and that is a must to try. It had fresh cream, fresh berries, and strawberries. SO GOOD. Definitely recommend after eating pizza. The employees are so nice, including the owners and so accomodating. &pizza has finally opened in Tysons! Well kind of. It along the outside strip near Cava and BGR. Awesome location and once you walk inside you feel the homey feel of &pizza. The staff were so sweet and I got a fantastic build your own pizza. Lots of wonderful flavors about. The staff was absolutely wonderful and the manager was at the front and super interactive. I absolutely loved how attentive the staff was and seemed like they were having a blast meeting all these new people. The moonstruck pizza with mushrooms was absolutely delicious with an addition of arugula and sun dried tomatoes. The truffle sauce and the the mix of sweet fig balsamic compliment each other so well. My first time at &Pizza was underwhelming, I ordered the white pizza with the fig and I was not pleased with it. It was very plain and to me the combination of the cheese and the fig did not go well together. Everyone I know loved this place and I was so confused. My boyfriend and I were walking around Tysons mall and were getting hungry and saw that there was an &Pizza nearby, I was craving pizza too, so I gave it a second chance. Im so glad that I did. This time. I built my own and the lady building mine was kind and pleasant to work with. BUILD YOUR OWN: I got the traditional pizza crust with the pesto sauce. I was very specific with my toppings because I was not sure if the toppings would go together. I asked the lady if she could put pineapple on half of the pizza and she did so with no complaints or negative facial expression. I was also curious in trying the vegan sausage that they had, so I also asked for her to put in on the other half in case I didnt like it, so I at least had a half that I knew I did like. I do not remember what else I got, probably mozzarella cheese, tomatos,arugula,mushrooms, and spinach. Overall, good experience and the pizza I built was much better than the one they have on the menu. I tried &pizza for the first time this week, though I have passed by multiple locations in the past few months around DC. Going inside for the first time was a good experience. They have menu boards on the side when you just walk in and you walk up to the Chipotle-style counter where you can pick a pre-made pizza options or create your own. It's all around $9.50 without tax. After they bake your pizza, you can add more add-ons at the end like parmesan, oils and sauces, spices, etc. The restaurant has a good amount of seating inside and also outdoor seating. One of the main issues with this particular location is that you have to walk outside of the mall around CAVA and BGR to get to the entrance. The stool seats inside at a couple of the tables is also really heavy and my friends accidentally knocked some over, which was a bit of a disturbance in the restaurant. I really like &pizza for 3 main reasons: 1. Unlimited toppings?? What is not to like? 2. It's fast; it takes about 5-7 minutes to choose toppings, bake your pizza, and check it out. 3. It's cheap -- you get a pretty good amount of pizza for about $10. It could possibly be 2 meals. (Bonus: They're pizza boxes are awesome!) Food: Farmer's breakfast - Spicy tomato sauce, mozzarella, spinach, sausage, chili oil, parmesan, and an egg (sunny side up). I really liked the egg on my pizza; it was a good touch, especially because we were eating like before 12pm. I only wish there was a bit more cheese, but overall it was a good flavor and combo. Solid, quick, fast-casual lunch spot for a great price. Definitely a fan of &pizza. I would give it 5 stars, but I personally am not the biggest pizza fan in general, so I will say 4.5 stars. read more

We ordered 4 different pizzas: pineapple jack, american honey, gnarlic, and the maverick. Overall, all of them were good but my favorite had to be either the american honey or gnarlic. I think you would get the most bang for your buck if you customize your own pizza, since you can add whatever toppings you want. The pizzas are not too thin and not too thick. I'm under the weather yet really hungry so I decided to order food in and said that I can't go wrong with pizza (& would probably have leftovers in case I felt crappy again tomorrow) and decided to go with &Pizza since their reviews were great and they were on Door Dash. I went with the build your own pizza and added a bunch of yummy toppings (which I was surprised were virtually all included in the price without an up charge) and of course MOZZARELLA CHEESE was one of the toppings in addition to the Romano tomato sauce. I was super psyched when it arrived bc it looked amazing and after a few bites I said something is missing and BOOM ! I realized there was ZERO MOZZARELLA . I even went back and checked my receipt for my order just to ensure it wasn't my mistake and NOPE, they forgot to add the cheese ! I was so sad yet couldn't give them less than 3 stars bc the pie was tasty, the dough was decent and the # of toppings included in the create your own was legit amazing, so, &Pizza was saved by these factors bc had these other things not been great this would've been a 1 star review. read more

&pizza is a fantastic option for those who want a delicious pizza on the go but deserve better than Dominos or Pizza Hut. They have a lot of signature options but you can also make your own. I am a huge fan of the American Honey but recently tried the Gnarlic and that might be my new go-to. This location is also great. The workers are speedy and polite and I've never been in a huge line. Most importantly, they take great care with preparing the food. If someone is handling payment and making the pizzas, they will change their gloves each time. Definitely noticed and appreciated. As a fast casual spot, it is usually not packed inside as people are probably taking their food to go or eating in in the mall. But if you want to eat in the restaurant, they have maybe 8-10 long bench/tables for you to sit with your entire family. The carry-out box is unique to &pizza and the logo/branding makes sense. Download the app and you get credits toward food. Most important of all, the food is pretty good. They have their signature pies or you can order a customizable pie. During my most recent visit, I customized my pie with classic tomato, mozzarella cheese, broccoli, grilled onions, tomato, mushrooms, arugula, and a little balsamic dressing. Everything was tasty and enjoyable. There isn't much seating at this particular location, so it is more of a takeout place. They also have that special craft soda machine with real sugar. Not a big soda drinker, but it is quite good once in a while. It isn't the best pizza ever, but if you want a fast casual pizza place with fresh ingredients at a reasonable price, &pizza is a solid option. read more

I came here on a Thursday evening around 6 pm to pick up dinner while working late at the office. It was just a few steps away from my usual lunch/dinner pick, Cava. The entrance is outside the mall; I'm not sure there's a way to access the restaurant from inside the mall. The place was pretty empty when I arrived, with just a few customers ahead of me, also getting takeout. There is plenty of seating inside. I was experimenting with a vegan diet at the time and was surprised by how many vegan options there were at &pizza (it looked like the base options were both vegan, other than the nongluten option). When I asked for the vegan mozzarella, the employee took off her gloves and switched to new ones before touching the vegan cheese. At the end, when they took my pizza out of the oven, the employee by the cash register also reminded the trainee staff to use a different pizza slicer to cut the pizza, pointing out to the trainee how to tell from the cheese that it was a vegan pizza. Like all &pizza locations, there is a good selection of toppings and it's easy to mix and match. My pizza was really tasty and didn't get soggy easily. The vegan mozzarella had a taste and texture that made it a pretty acceptable substitute for actual cheese, but I only really got it because cheese seemed like an indispensable component of pizza--I definitely wouldn't choose to eat it otherwise. A very convenient location with great staff. If you're in the mood for pizza and happen to be in the area, this is a solid pick. read more

&pizza alert at Tysons Corner! The entrance is along the outside of the mall next to BGR burger and Cava. Convenient location and another awesome fast casual restaurant for that shopping mall trip! The interior is modern and spacious. Went to their pre-opening this past weekend and was lucky enough to try a dessert pizza and a Create-your-own pizza. Like all other assembly line chains, &pizza workers helped the customers choose what they wanted from the cheese, meat, and toppings selections. Lots of choices and all the workers were extremely friendly. I got their ancient grain pizza crust along with half the basil pesto and mushroom truffle sauce. After I added on mozzarella cheese, jalapeno peppers, chickpeas, red peppers, chicken, shrimp, feta cheese, arugula, sun-dried tomatoes, and olives, I was a pretty happy camper! So many flavors and it only took 3+ minutes to cook the entire pizza in their oven. The dessert pizza was also yummy with berries and fresh cream on top! I went to my first &pizza and my first Yelp Elite (oooo ahhhh) event on the same day popping two (cherry) tomatoes for the price of one. From a Yelp event - 5-Stars and a honey chile glaze on top! This place was rather delicious and the Yelp events I've been sleeping on were fantastic too. But less Yelp, More Pizza. &Pizza is located outside - meaning it's NOT accessible from the inside of the mall. But don't despair. The closest parking garage is the garage that services Macy's. Park farthest from the Macy's door and you'll be closest to the &Pizza Door. Still don't see it? It's like right next to the American Girl Doll (more like Doll-ar, that shizz is expensive!) store. Found it? Good. Now go inside and order any of their pre-made pies (strips?). I liked the Farmer's Daughter that features actual egg (cooked anyway you please) and their version of the meat lovers. The "gnarlic" (gnarly garlic) applied both to the taste and my breath afterward, but it was hella good. They're all about going against the grain when it comes to their branding. Kinda addicted to their pizza now.. My go to pizza is the American Honey without goat cheese. I love the hot pepper flakes and honey and arugula that go so well with the pizza! It's my favorite whenever I go and I always get parm cheese on top and that's it. They add the sauce on the dough and whatever toppings before it goes in the oven, it comes out done in a few mins, then you get the rest of the toppings added at the end. My only complaint is that sometimes I'll get my pizza and then I want to pay but the guy has to make the other pizzas behind me so I'm standing there hungry for a few mins before someone can check me out. read more
