As I walked in saw some dirty tables that still need clean up. Ordered number 3. As I was waiting for my food, I can see that they are preparing for large take out order. It took over 20 minutes to get my food. I was hungry and would appreciate if they give me heads up that they are gonna take that long so I can decide if I should wait or go some place else. They also packed my food to go even I was planning to eat there. Chicken taste was just on par with other similar restaurants. Their fries were delicious though. It was crispy from outside and soft inside. I just wish that they do better job on time management. Just want to give a shout out to Angel for being an amazing person. He was able to get our catering order out in 15 mins. It was so last min but he made it happened. We had a small halloween luncheon last min. I was driving by at 930am. I saw the sign said open so I walked in. He saw me and said they were closed until 11am but he still helped me anyways. He went through the prices and diff options. He was able to make the food and have it ready before 11am. Thank you so much. Had to sign a wavier to order the angry level heat tender and I understand why because it was very spicy, but faded pretty quick. The service was good and the inside was decorated nicely and felt hip but the parking situation is horrible. Wouldn't visit after dark because the location is sketch. Ordered on a busy Friday night, Valentine's Day today, and my wait was only about ten minutes despite having tons of mobile/uber/doordash orders plus a full lobby of ppl waiting too. Welp they just lost a customer for life. Whoever this "supervisor" Angel (if that's his real name) is definitely a piece of work. I've been here many times and never had any issues. After an 18 hour day at the studio I was excited to get Angry chickz on my way home. I called to put in an order. A girl picked up, I placed my single meal easy order... then she asked if I could hold on for a second and Angel then picked up. He restarted the conversation. Ok... I started placing my order again and he interrupts me saying if it's more than one item then I need to pay over the phone. I told him I'm driving and on my way there already and he cuts me off saying he needs to take payment over the phone. I said it's one meal + a side. He said that's fine. But if it's more than one item I need to pay over the phone. At this point I'm annoyed and say never mind. I asked to speak to a manager, and he said he's the supervisor and that was it. I started telling him that I've been coming there for years (you can see the previous 5 star review I left years ago) and I've never had anyone there speak to me like that. He cuts me off again saying he's not going to argue with me, he's there to take orders. Have a GREAT (sarcastically) night and hangs up. Honestly, put this phony in the kitchen or somewhere where he doesn't speak to customers. Super fail. Always come by to pick up some sliders but last time we got the Angry Fries with Mac and cheese on top and it was too good we came back. Today we were helped by the Sophia and she was really friendly and helpful while ordering and asking more questions about the menu, definitely love the fries compared to other Chicken sandwich shops which is a plus and why we always head over from the northridge area! Definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking their chicken sandwich fix. Unfortunately the ball was dropped for me on this one, and I probably wouldn't come again. My friend and I each ordered the combo #1 of the two sliders. Food was ready in about 10 mins for both of us. I ordered mild spice for both sliders. My first slider tasted like mild spice, but the chicken was extremely stringy to the point where I couldn't finish the slider. My second slider tasted like medium spice, but this one had a more tender chicken slice and I was able to finish this one. It was disappointing that they weren't consistent, and my friend said her chicken was stringy as well. We liked the fries - they were on the soggy side but we both like soggy fries, so if that's not your thing then here's your heads up! read more

I have came to angry chickz for a while now, today is the last time i will be coming, the spice was ridiculously bad , i couldn't even eat it. I usually never have issues with the spice level that I ALWAYS get but today they over did it. I got the same spice as always and it was not even edible. We went back explaining to them that this wasn't the spice level i initially wanted or that something might've been wrong and the big as in ( wide ) dark dude was just giving us attitude. service was lousy and the workers don't even seem like they wanna work. Not to mention we waited around 35 minutes for our food and spent so much just for them to treat us like some nothing of a customer.Wont be coming back anymore. This was my first time visiting this place. Since I don't have any other restaurant to compare this place to, I will say that we enjoyed our meal. Combo#1 and Angry Mac - both Medium in heat level. Now, if you are NOT a fan of spicy food, I do not recommend Medium Level. The Mac n Cheese was great! The sliders were wonderful but very sloppy to eat and the fries were amazing! My only complaint is the location! The parking lot is so small and crowded as is the inside of the restaurant. The location is a bit sketchy. Almost like skid row. Pricing and portions are as expected. Fries (seasoned) are the best part of the meal. Sauce is good but nothing special. The flavor of the tenders is good but more importantly the crispiness needs improvement as it was not crispy at all despite being hot and fresh.
