Staff is helpful. Parking should not be an issue. Ordered take out over the phone where they confirmed the chicken is halal for those that need to know at this fast casual spot. Pricing and portions are as expected. Fries (seasoned) are the best part of the meal. Sauce is good but nothing special. The flavor of the tenders is good but more importantly the crispiness needs improvement as it was not crispy at all despite being hot and fresh. There always a customer and/or customers present in the store and I bet the food and the workers are the reason why. Everyone should give this place a try. This place continues to disappoint. It's already not even close to as good as Dave's, and similar places are far less stingy with their toppings and sauces. Also, this place doesn't have any cheese, not for the sandwich or fries. This place is also very small (horrible ambiance) and the wait times (for even a single slider) are insane--30 min+ every single time (even though i'm the only one there)! The only reason we order anything from this sad place is because it is in walking distance and they're open late. However, lately the staff have been closing early. For the last month or two, they don't answer the phone after 10:30 pm. I have gone there around 11 and they act surprised and say they are closed. AVOID THIS PLACE! Poorly run and truly disappointing. See photos. They're supposed to close at midnight, yet the employees will ignore your phone calls and turn you away at 10:30 if you go in person. I love chicken sandwiches and I have tried a lot. I'm also a big sauce guy so I'm partial to places with great sauce. How does this place stack up compared to the chicken sandwich shops? This spot deserves the 5 stars! Ordered Combo #1 in "hot" and was pleasantly surprised. The hot did have a kick to it, but I will get xtra hot or the spiciest one next. A good portion of chicken and fries are served, always a bonus. Fries were crispy and well seasoned, not too salty but just right. My boyfriend and I Visited the Sepulveda store on Sunday after seeing them on my instagram feed. Upon arrival I ordered the slider and tender meal in mild I cannot tolerate any spice my boyfriend proceeds to order the same meal with the hottest level.. the cashier wouldn't finish our order until he completed the waiver. 15 minutes later she comes out with our food I was really excited to try this spot I'm a huge fan of Dave's hot chicken so finding a new place would be nice. I take one bite into the slider and I nearly died she mixed up our orders and gave me the Carolina reaper meal. In the midst of this I had an asthma attack. My boyfriend lets her know that she gave me the incorrect meal and she shrugged it off... He asked her what was the purpose of signing the waiver because I did not sign a waiver, he also asked her why don't they label the meals. That would make sense to label the meals. After all of this I was unable to eat my meal my boyfriend was upset and she didn't even offer to refund my meal. I also wanted to use the restroom and she said it was locked from the inside... With so many places popping up I have to pick and choose which I want to invest my calories and money in. The menu here is simple; tenders and sliders with sides of slaw, Mac & cheese, fries, and rice. This is the first hot chicken place that has rice and its refreshing to find good rice in a chicken place. I usually get combo #3 with one tender and slider in medium. medium is the perfect spice level for me. I love how the fries are seasoned also, which they give a good amount of. What I love even more here is their house sauce. Delicious. A few other pluses about this place is that they let you try the spice levels before fulling committing to anything. Also unheard of at a chicken place. Combo #3 comes with slaw in the burger, but if you say on the side you'll get a bigger portion as they put it as if you are buying a side. THIS IS A NOTE TO ANGRY CHICKZ..my recent visit I sat at the table closest to the employee door and an employee was mopping. The chicken here is hella good, the menu is simple they have 4 combos, all come with 2 well sized chicken tenders each combo is just slightly different. The medium heat is my favorite, just enough spice as they say which make it a perfect flavor. My third time there I stepped up to "hot" which is 4th on their level. The girl at the counter asked me if I was sure.... I went for it anyway. I'm not really the best at handling really hot foods so the Hot level was a bit much for me. It was still good but I had to take breaks in between my bites. With all these "pop up" hot chicken places around the valley it's good to know there's an actual real restaurant I can go inside to get something to eat.
