BEST BAKERY ON STATEN ISLAND. They have the cutest pastries and pies. Their seven layer cookies are phenomenal. Everything is prepared daily and is fresh, and you can tell their stuff sells fairly quickly. I absolutely refuse to go to any other bakery on Staten Island. The best bakery in Staten Island, hands down! Everything is fresh and delicious. I ordered an entire cake pregnant and hungry and it was fabulous. I ordered Irish soda bread and regret not buying more than 2. I will keep coming back here to pick up baked goods. This is by far my favorite bakery on Staten Island and I have been to almost all of them! I'm so sorry I didn't discover this gem sooner. They have your usual italian bakery items but so much more! I was searching for a bakery in the area and I came across Annadale Bakery! After reading rave reviews, I wanted to give them a shot. I went in and automatically loved the place; nicely decorated, nice staff, great selection of pastry & cookies, as well as cakes; which is what I needed! I got the chocolate mousse cake ... WELL!!!! Everyone raved about it - it was absolutely perfect! Guests that don't typically like chocolate mousse, went back for another slice. Chocolate mousse cake has always been my favorite and this was the best I've ever had! I'm happy to have found this bakery because I'll 100% be back! read more

I ordered a cake for my parents 50th anniversary dinner on the night I went to pick it up they had NO cake for me. Apparently they take orders and collect payment but don't bother to put the order in with the baker. They did not attempt to do anything other than say I'm sorry and we will refund your money!! I had always thought that this bakery was one of the best on Staten Island, until I placed an order for a decorated cheesecake for a party this past weekend. I sent the bakery a detailed email asking them to make a 6' inch cheesecake that is higher in height than the average cheesecake with LIGHT pink flowers (to match, as best as possible, the specific shade of pink shown in a picture I sent to them via email) surrounding a cake topper I had purchased and given to them. I then followed up on the phone and confirmed that they would be able to accommodate the height and width requests and that they would cover the cheesecake in white ganache and then decorate it with light pink fondant flowers. I also asked for 6 cupcakes with buttercream frosting that matched the light pink flowers to be placed on the cake. Instead, what I received was a: (1) regular vanilla cake with cheesecake filling, at least 7 inches wide (or bigger) rather than 6 inches (this mattered a great deal because I had specifically told them that I wanted to place the cake on a stand with a tier that was only 6 inches wide - I even sent them a picture of the stand via email so that they could visualize it), (2) BRIGHT pink ganache (when I was told the ganache would be white), (3) three flowers (1 of which was white and not pink), (4) a broken cake topper which had to be taken off completely (ruining some of the ganache covering), and (5) 6 tiny cupcakes with BRIGHT pink frosting rather than light pink as I had asked for (and which did not even match the bright pink shade of the ganache on the cake, which I also did not ask for). To say that I was unhappy would be an understatement. If they could not make the cheesecake that I asked for, they should have told me that instead of yessing me to death and taking my money for an order that was nowhere near what I had requested. I won't be using this bakery for a party ever again. read more

OMG!!! So, I read some reviews and decided to try this place out tonight after a long hard day of work. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a warm and friendly woman at the counter (great way to start off!) and I then proceeded to walk around and oogle at all the delicious pastries! She helped me pick some stuff out and recommended a few items (thank you!!) . I just have to say when I got home and my mother and I tore into everything- we were truly blown away..... not only by the FRESHNESS (I went at 7pm) but by the amazing effort put into each pastry. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING I purchased was beyond delicious. Better than anything I've had in Staten Island and Brooklyn! This place is a gem and I will continue to come back! I have since told quite a few friends and family that this has to be a place they try ASAP! You won't regret anything, I promise! I already can't wait to go back :) read more

I ordered a first birthday cake for my granddaughter. I gave them a picture of a luau themed cake and it was done exactly as the photo. The cake not only looked amazing but was absolutely delicious. I ordered a specialty cake from here I was very specific in what I wanted sending pictures and ordering at the bakery and reviewed over the phone. When the day of the event came and it was time for cake it was nothing like what I ordered. The cake was absolutely hideous and nothing like any of the pictures I had sent. Another time prior a similar situation happened I sent a picture of exactly what I wanted and it wasnt what I asked for. Not too good at following directions at this place! I would NEVER trust them for an important occasion. Just for a quick loaf of bread or crumb cake is enough. Especially since they dont even care about your opinion. So many good things to try at this bakery. It has a nice variety of snacks, cakes and breads to choose from. The staff was delightful and helpful in describing the display. I had some cookies, a mini muffin, slice of chocolate cake, pistachio macaron (my favorite), their famous brownie with chocolate fudge (tastes pretty good). All tasted fresh and delicious.
