    Apple Fritter French Toast
    Mike

I came today with family and ordered several dishes. The wait wasn't long maybe 5-10 minutes. I decided on having Apple fritter French toast , with potatoes, and brown sugar sage sausage. The server was friendly and attentive, as always. The food came out fairly fast and the portions were generous.

I really liked how it looked, It gave off rustic vibes. The wait wasn't long at all before they seated me. The mango margaritas was very delicious and the salt around the rim also tasted like mango. The shrimp and crawfish omelette was very creamy well seasoned. We got some beignets they were alright for FL. Definitely come back to try different items on the menu next time.

Service was great! There was no wait and the food came out quick. We went on a Saturday around 1pm for a late breakfast. It was clean and the sausage was good! My daughter got the pound cake french toast, she ate it in 15min lol my eggs were okay. Next time I will try the eggs Benedict :)

Pet friendly. Great service always. Food is always good. I never had to wait long to get seated!

Wow I can tell you the breakfast was amazing egg well done and sausages very juicy, all the food was super! I can tell you the place is super clean and well put together with the tables setup. Our servers I'm very pleasant and always checking on us, I'm sorry I don't remember her name but she was excellent. We was celebrating mama birthday and she brought some beignets as a birthday courtesy.

First time here snd curious about it bec one of these cafe are opening near me in Whole Foods Plaza. This cafe is open inside/outside seating too and has an industrial feel to it. Server was friendly and brought their version of a beignet for us to try, not even close but they were warm. I skipped my eggs this morning so I was looking forward to some protein; after much deliberation I picked Shrimp Benny. It was SO tasty! Two poached eggs over focaccia bread (but not to big which was fine since I'm watching carbs) with mushrooms, red peppers..lots of little shrimp in a wonderful sauce! I had to ask for a spoon to get the sauce! I appreciated the estimated calories so I could make a chose that fit my lifestyle! I look forward to it opening near me!

We had a big party(10) in the morning on a Saturday. 4 of us arrived 30m early to secure a long table. We waited by the door for 30m for the rest of our party to arrive because they wouldn't seat us despite our table being prepared already. They don't do reservations so keep that in mind. No other large parties showed up, it was just us. The food was average, the drinks were pretty good. I ordered a strawberry mimosa pitcher to split with a friend. The drink was very sweet. The service was just ok. With all of the better brunch options in the area, we probably won't be coming back.

This was my second time back to the us location ever. I had a taste for the sausage and gravy meal. I had the most difficult time ordering online. The meal comes With sausage links?!? I wanted them subbed for bacon. I typed in the comments the modification of the order. When arrived I only had gravy and biscuit, there was no sausage in the gravy. I asked to speak to a manger who made it right. I don't care for sausage links over bacon. I got to keep the potatoes, but I would suggest calling in the order instead. Food was great. Orange juice was juicing. Lol

5 stars! Food was amazing, drinks were amazing, our server, Michelle was even better.

    Supreme Omelette Bourbon Street pancakes

Visited Another Broken Egg Cafe this week. Very modern and clean design inside and outside seating is available as well. Nicely done. If there are any complaints, it's that the tables in some areas are very close to others. Great selection of breakfast/brunch foods. I think anyone would find something they like. I ordered the Supreme omelette with a side of Bourbon Street pancakes. The extra 2 stack of Bourbon St pancakes was a great deal and was really enough for two. Really good food at a reasonable price. Recommend. Our server was also very good and courteous.

Outside and inside seating. I really wish I remembered my server name because he was great. Very attentive and patient with our indecisiveness. Shirley temples were delicious. My omelet was really good but I found out I'm not a fan of goat cheese. The girls loved their breakfast as well.

The service and portion sizes were great, but I didn't find the food to be anything special. I ordered the lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes, which are topped with fresh blueberries. The pancakes come with eggs and a breakfast meat on the side, but they can substitute meat with another side, I chose potatoes. Overall, the meal was just okay - typical diner food. I ordered a regular coffee with cream on the side and thought it was priced a little high at $4, though they do offer refills. The inside of the cafe seemed a little cramped and busy, so I opted for their covered outdoor seating, which offers a nice respite for solo diners.

I have mixed feelings about this place. On one hand the bar service is great, the table service not so much. Some menu items are great, some not so much. I got the bourbon pancakes which were delicious, but I asked for over medium eggs. The eggs were dang near raw. Not even over easy but raw. I liked the BLTA sandwich, but the Avocado on it was so brown it didn't even look like avocado. My husband enjoyed his brunch jambalaya. The strawberry mimosa is yummy. Not a bad breakfast spot, but not blow your mind either. Very mid.

When we arrived, we found this pleasant environment with ample seating outside. As we began to review the menu, the manager of the shop was very friendly and helpful in navigating their menu. Ultimately, I decided to sample the bacon, egg, and cheese wrap. It was quite good. I believe they used a cheddar that was a bit strong for my taste and would have preferred some milder cheese options (like provolone). Regardless, it was tasty. My only complaint (and this may be specific to me) is that they did not have a cola flavored diet drink to offer. Yes, I admit, I need my Diet Coke with my meal. So, I had to walk around the corner and find a place to sell me a soda. Other than that, a great option for a meal.

Calamari was prepared well and not too chewy. We shockingly each chose a salad: the bistro steak, the chop chop Asian, the goat cheese, and the salmon. Each one was incredible. Mine was the chop chop and I absolutely loved it! It was HUGE and you can bet I ate every single bite. Loved it!' I enjoyed the food; however, I think some details were missing or off for the price point. For example, the rib eye was requested for medium temp; however, it was medium rare and very chewy. The broiled ocean platter was kind of skimpy for the price point, and the shrimp & lobster diavolo were pretty good (though lobster wasn't very tender and slightly rubbery). I also wasn't given a pasta spoon- so had slight difficulty eating it. It took quite a while for us to get our food, approx 45 minutes? Our waitress was very kind and checked in- but forgot the lemons I had asked for- for the waters. We had inputted in our reservation request to not be in the center- and we were sat in the middle; though, 80% of the tables were empty. So, all in all, it was good but for the price point, I had higher expectations.

We loved the gambas al ajillo -- the shrimp had great flavor and just the right amount of heat -- and the grilled sourdough was perfect for soaking up every bit of the delicious sauce. A few things fell short, though. Our table for two felt cramped, especially since it was positioned directly against a wooden divider. I was facing the back of the restaurant, so as right-hander, sitting up against the wall felt awkward and made the space feel even tighter. I'm a huge fan of seafood stews and almost always order them when I see one on the menu, so I was looking forward to the Sicilian Stew. While the overall flavor was good, it leaned a bit too salty for my taste. More disappointing was the fish itself -- it seemed cooked down and stirred into the broth to the point where it acted more like a thickener than a distinct part of the dish. I would have preferred visible pieces of fish with more texture and presence. Overall, the staff was warm and attentive, the service was excellent, and the food arrived promptly. Despite a few drawbacks, I'd still be open to giving Taverna another try in the future.

The overall restaurant looked clean and great for a date night. We weren't feeling too hungry so we ordered the following based on the waitress and our friend's recommendations: 1) Crispy Brussels sprouts 2) Duck Fat Corn Bread 3) House made pasta + sugo The crispy brussels sprouts were a bit undercooked and lacked flavor but if you prefer a less crispy Brussel sprout dish I would recommend it over the duck fat corn bread. The duck fat corn bread was disappointing. It was an odd combination of flavors that did not mix very well. The corn bread was mushy and the crisp Napa cabbage with the random ranch/spicy sauce combo did not pair well and left my mouth feeling confused. I had high expectations for their house made pasta as they had a pasta maker out for viewing. The pasta was overcooked and every bite was an interesting mix of flavors...some bites salty...some bites unseasoned. There was barely any meat present and overall we ended up not finishing our meal and wrapping up the night.
