Pancakes = divine. Beignets = hard as a rock. Eggs were delish! It's a good place to come to every once in a while.

I had a quick breakfast at Another Broken Egg Cafe. The hostess was very friendly, however the bartender was cold and dry which wasn't very welcoming. On the other hand, she made this spiked coffee perfectly! I ordered a waffle with chicken sausage and scrambled eggs which was just ok, not bad but nothing unique or special. The restroom was very dirty which was off putting. It's a small location but I came on a weekday morning so there wasn't a big crowd. Parking is also limited, so plan your visit wisely!

Another broken egg café is located in North Hills. There's parking on the street as well as a parking lot and the area is very walkable area. I found parking right outside the restaurant. The restaurant was jampacked. When we entered, the hostess looked at her watch even though it was an hour and a half to closing and I said, do we have enough time, she said yeah yeah yeah. She seemed a little bothered that we came in at that time, but she fixed her face and took us to a table to be seated. The floors were kind of dirty, as if they had stopped sweeping up, and I had to ask them to wipe down the table again. It took longer than usual for a server to come to us. He did apologize when he got there and took our drink Orders. He came back and took our food orders. Our drinks took a while to get there and he apologize for that. The food was OK. the service was OK but the restaurant definitely could do with a manager that stays on top of the staff when it comes to timeliness and cleanliness. The gentleman at the table next to us was complaining to the server and then the manager that the bathrooms were filthy and the toilet was running over so I did not use the restroom. Thank God for hand sanitizer. I really like the bar area. I probably should've sat there and ate. , I'm gonna be back in that area a couple of times in the next coming months so hopefully that restaurant improves

We were spoken to upon arriving and seated quickly. The area was quaint and there's a small bar near the dining area. Our server Brittany was literally a rockstar she was very warm, helpful, and empathetic. She also was very knowledgeable about food allergies and the food menu they have. We had their biscuit beignets and they were amazing! Their omelette and baked bacon was also pretty good. If you are in the area please check it out and ask for Brittany !

The pictures tell you everything you need to know about how our experience was here. We ordered the strawberry shortcake french toast and it came with a side of eggs and bacon. For $16 this french toast was absolutely disappointing. The portion was tiny and the taste was absolutely awful. I'm shocked that they even thought it was ok to bring this out to us. We've had frozen french toast that was better than this. They gave us syrup on the side and we had to drench the french toast in it to make it taste somewhat decent and even that didn't help much. We also ordered the brunch jumbalaya and for $16, it was a huge waste of money. The service was ok, but definitely will not be returning. for a breakfast/brunch/lunch spot, this place's food is a major fail.

The focaccia here is extraordinary. A thin, crispy, tasty treat. Must try. I do not like that the menus and countertops were sticky, and that my poached eggs arrived cold (they didn't even ask how I wanted them - soft, medium, hard). Kinda gross to have cold eggs. But the rest of the breakfast was fine. Tasty sausage, bacon, ham that was standard breakfast fare. Service was good, bartender was nice but curt.

I love Another Broken Egg! It's been a favorite since moving to NC a few years ago. The food is just so good. Seasonal menu always has something you want to try. Service has always been good when i've gone. I love their coffee/tea cups. Currently they have a Honey Lemon Blueberry French Toast on the menu. The lemon drizzle is really good, I wish they put more of it on top. 6 pieces was a bit much for me but if you are eating with others you can share. Add Another Broken Egg to your brunch rotation or go for a visit if you are staying in the area.

Cute spot in North Hills. Our server was awesome and gave great recommendations. I was a little sad that they didn't have a latte or oat milk. I settled with their coffee because they had hazelnut creamer and it was surprisingly good. I went with the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and my husband went with the hash Brown Benedict. Everything was delicious. Definitely would go back.

The food was blah; I am particularly not a fan of watery grits. The wait staff was friendly though.

Joined the waitlist for Saturday breakfast at Another broken egg, and we were seated right away! I love the industrial modern breakfast diner vibes. The menu is extensive, as is the drink selection. We ordered the biscuit beignets to start, which were not my favorite, as I was expecting light and fluffy Cafe Du monde beignets. The food took a little while to come out, but when it did the salmon Benedict was delicious, although too salty. The Bourbon st pancakes were also delicious and super sweet.. with a hint of the rum butter flavor. Overall great breakfast experience.

My partner got the iced version--which was somehow even better than the warm version. I don't like my coffee drinks too sweet, and they struck exactly the right balance. I couldn't taste even a whisper of matcha flavoring, and the price was laughable for a glass of green milk. When my flat white arrived, I felt that twinkle return to my eye. Sadly, about 3 sips later, as I neared the end of my beverage I was shocked to discover a texture component I was not expecting. After a lot of contemplation, I have decided I am not a fan of coffee grounds swirling around my mouth. The customers are hip and trendy, the employees exceedingly friendly and speedy, the drinks bespoke and innovative, but I think we need to cut out the frills and go back to the basics. Ok, now that's out of the way I was so stinking excited when someone finally opened a Biggby here!! This location is a tough spot!! Being super familiar with the area, I wasn't put off by the difficult shopping center, but I hope this location is able to thrive despite the stress the physical location may bring. The traffic sucks, the turn in and turn out options to the shopping center suck, and the shopping center isn't the most attractively laid out despite the facelift attempt. But this Biggby location is a shining star in an odd location and they are killing it! The staff are so freaking nice no matter how busy they are. If you've never been to Biggby before, prepare your heart for every flavor combination under the sun. The number of flavor syrups Biggby offers is unreal! They also offer a number of sugar free options and non dairy options. I don't like overly sweet items, so warning if you're like me, ask to have the drink with one less flavor shot of each flavor your drink has. Their regular coffee is absolutely solid option. I'm a little snobby with my coffee sometimes, but I can't complain about their plain coffee. I drink it black, so I can't comment on the sugar or cream options but I'm sure they're just as plentiful as all the other options at Biggby. The only food I've gotten to try so far are the donut holes. No they weren't donut shop quality, but they were perfect with a giant cup of black coffee. The inside is super clean and spacious. A Truly Artisanal Bakery…read more I rarely leave reviews on yelp anymore, but this bakery is so impressive, it inspired me to type this down. I'm from the Bay Area and loved going to all kinds of bakery when I travel. I did not have much expectations when I came to Raleigh. I tried Paul and Jack and couple other bakeries, they were all good, but not impressive. The first thing I noticed was their Mill Room, and second I noticed that they have 100 score on hygiene. Not that I care about the score that much but still impressive. Then We got a bunch of pastries, the shortbread was the first one we tried and wow, it was so simple yet so flavorful, truly malted tasting shortbread, it has so much depth in taste. Then I had a had a ham and cheese croissant, it was on the salty side but I kept eating it when I'm not even hungry. The true winner though, is the plain croissant I got which traveled with me for 72 hours back home. I got it out of my bag, slightly flattened by all my stuff, I expect it to taste flat and meh. I put it in the oven for 6 minutes and it turned out to be the best croissant I've had. It was flaky, soft and soo flavorful. Now I cannot stop thinking about it. Lastly, I want to say that with so many pop ups, new bakeries coming up in different cities, often times we were chasing that unique flavors, that special toppings on croissants, but Boulted Bread stayed true to bread, and perfected the craft without focusing on "exotic" or "special" flavors. I truly respect this.
