I went to a Broken Egg at another location and had a great experience. This location is the worst! The hostess was sullen and didn't smile, nor did she even listen to us when we asked for a booth. 1 request. How hard is that?! The rest of the employees were very unfriendly and lacked anything that resembled enthusiasm or customer service. I was going to say something to the manager, but the look on his face told me that his staff was simply following his unfriendly lead. Food was mediocre at best. It just wasnt a good experience at all. Corporate should really take a look at what's going on here, so that they can get a better handle on this poorly run place! read more

I have always loved this restaurant every time I have eaten here. The first time I had a great server & it was enjoyable. He was friendly, delivered exceptional customer service & the food came out fast & hot! This is my second time coming here for brunch with my puppy, and have never had a more miserable dining/customer service experience ever. First off, I called ahead of time and let them know it was a party of 2 plus my puppy and we wanted to be put on the waiting list to be seated outside. I was tracking my wait, and waiting around like everyone else. When it got to my turn, I went in and told them it says my table was ready. Ted, the manager didn't even greet me or smile but just told me I had to wait still another 20 minutes. I had explained to him and showed him that on the tracker it said my table was ready. He just shrugged and told me I had to wait. So, I waited because I was already here. Finally 20 minutes later I went back in and checked since nobody had called my name or called my phone like I heard them doing with everyone else. They had sat 3 people outside that came in after me! I didn't even worry about it because I was so hungry. Sat down, server Carlos just looked at our table after pouring water for another table and went back inside. Waited to see if anyone would come to wait on us and 5 minutes pass by nobody did. So finally had to go get someone and he came out, didn't greet nor even make us feel comfortable by even a hello. Didn't even talk to us. I just asked him if we could get our drinks and we were ready to order. So i ordered everything at once. He came back with the waters & coffee and that was the last time he came to check on our table except when the food came out. He had been outside multiple times to check on the other tables and the nice busboy even asked if we were OK and I just asked him politely if he could ask our waiter if we could have refills of water since he had not been back to check on our table. I was trying to have patience but was just over it. Ted, the manager came outside and asked a few tables if they were doing OK and such and completely disregarded my table. I had not done anything, was patient, and just observed. Anyways, the waffle came out cold but was in a rush to ask them to make a new one. Didn't even eat it and paid for it. Not happy about the service here. It seems to me they were just profiling thinking we were young & couldn't afford it or something, especially after spending almost $60 on half of what I didn't eat because it took forever to come out and half was cold. Anyways, I would hope to speak to corporate or one of the higher ups. After this experience it just ruined my entire Sunday Brunch. All the other chains that I have been to have been delightful but this experience was just not a good start to my day. Don't let bad days or emotions affect the customers you wait on. Especially after how patient I was having to wait so much longer than expected and getting seated after a few people that came in after me. read more

The food is always very good. I like their grits better than alot of other places. Also, their patio is dog friendly which I am a fan of.

Worse place ever.. wish I can give it a zero. First my mother asked for the gluten free menu and told the waiter she couldn't have gluten and they still gave her a muffin and when we complained they did nothing. Then my meal had a piece of hair she saw it and told her manager and again they did nothing. Didn't even apologize or offer shit. Oh and the coffee was cold. Worse place. Awesome spot for breakfast- the food was delicious, but we especially appreciated the customer service. It was a long 30 min wait to get a table, and after another 30 min our waiter appeared with a free plate of beignets and broke the bad news that there was a miscommunication in the kitchen, and our order had not been started yet. What a great experience from the moment I walked in. The Hostess was awesome and made sure I knew the items on the menu that were new. She also discovered it was my first visit and made sure I knew about the complimentary beignets. Of course being from the BIG EASY I had to try them. The server (Courtney) was just as pleasant. Today we went to celebrate our Granddaughters 2nd Birthday. She loves waffles. Had the Crab cake Benedict...OMG, it was so good. My husband had the Chicken and Waffles, he said he really enjoyed them. Our daughter had the Pancakes with warm peaches...best she's ever had. The atmosphere was very pleasant. But the service was terrible! My husband asked for hot tea...the hot water came, no tea bag. We waited quite some time for the waitress to come back. Finally had to ask another waitress, but by the time she came back with the tea bags his water was cold (I would say at least 10 minutes). It took quite some time for our meals to come (I had 2 cups of coffee while we waited). When our food came she forgot to bring the eggs and bacon for our daughters meal. We asked for it twice...it never came and we were charged full price for her meal. The waitress said she was going to bring a treat for our Granddaughters birthday...we waited so long that she could not take sitting there any longer. So we had to go outside in the cold while the men paid the bill. We loved the food, would really like to go back someday...but I pray the service is better next time. This was my second time going to a broken egg location first time being Raleigh NC. My first time my food was amazing and me being from MD I said if I ever see another one of these I would stop in. Stopped in this location was told the I air would be 30-45 min wait which turned into a hour. Once seated my friend ordered an apple juice the waiter came out with an orange juice smh. Went in on a Sunday morning before the church crowd. Waiting about 30 minutes for a table. Once sat, we didn't get offered a drink 15 minutes. We then ordered both food and drinks. The waitress was polite, but they had her working what seemed the entire restaurant. No one ever came back to fill our coffee or offer anything else. After 45 minutes the food came. Less than impressive presentation and quality. Standard breakfast foods as expected. We waited about 10 more minutes after we were finished eating for the check. The waitress let us know she would grab it. Over 30 minutes later we ask another server if we could have our check. The original waitress had printed it and forgot to bring it to us. The manager came over and apologized and gave us free dessert cards. I left them on the table, because we will not be returning to this establishment. Don't waste your time or money. read more

Second time we have visited this location. Kitchen is very slow, both visits took more than 30 minutes to get our meals and when we finally received them either something was missing or one of the meals were cold. Sat a table for four, but with 4 people ad the size of the plates there is no way you can fit everything. Good location, nice establishment and great menu, overall value is not good. I will stick to the restaurants that serve a good, hot breakfast in a timely manner to a table that can accommodate the plates. read more

Another Broken Egg has been a favorite go to for brunch. Frequented the location on Old Milton Parkway for years and was excited to try the new place in Roswell. I was disappointed with my experience. I asked for a simple modification to an egg dish which they messed up and then charged me extra. Server was not helpful in resolving this simple issue. Waited for 20 minutes even though there were multiple open tables, and many groups who came in after us were seated first. Once seated, we ordered hot tea. We werr brought a cup of hot water but had to wait 5 minutes for the tea bag. Then we placed our order. After 10 minutes, we were told that our order had accidentally been thrown away. When the food arrived, the orders were not accurate. Piss poor customer service. All-the-while, a creepy, smug man was wandering around with balloons stuffed in his pockets, not saying a word to anyone (balloon animal entertainer?). Bathroom was unsanitary. The food was excellent at this restaurant. Our server was very good. However, when we got there our name was on the list for about 30 minutes. At the end of that 30 minutes or so we went and checked with them to see where we were. At that time they came to us and said it would be another 30 minutes. When you have your hostess giving out times even if they're having to guess, they need to know what they're talking about. That is poor management and poor customer service when after the allotted time give or take, you say oh sorry it's going to be another 30 minutes. That is unacceptable. As I said the food was fantastic. But once we sat down it took forever for the food to get out. We put our name in at 12:26 we finally sat down at about 1:35 ,we didn't even get our food until about 215 to 220 and they closed at two. I am going to chalk some of this up to the fact this is a brand-new restaurant in Roswell, and they are still learning how to do things. We will give another try, but hopefully the time issue will improve. The prices are a little high in my opinion also. read more

We've been to this location a few times and always had a good experience. However, today even though the restaurant was not packed by any means, the hostess kept telling everyone it was a 25 minute wait with lots of empty tables. So she turned away a lot business. We only waited 10 minutes because I knew the hostess couldn't be right. They didn't have any clean coffee mugs so the waitress put coffee in to go cups. The waitress wasn't attentive at all. We waited over an hour for our food. The waitress never gave an us an update but when we asked her as she walked by, she said another 5 minutes. We waited 7 more minutes and finally walked out because she was no where in sight. Very disappointed today. read more

Just opened. It has a nice atmosphere. It has a full bar with a special daytime drink menu. Very friendly staff. A bit pricey for a breakfast place. Nice varied menu. It had a Caribbean influenced specials menu in addition to their regular. A chain that originated in Florida. I ordered the traditional platter. Eggs , andouille sausage, English muffin and potatoes It was very good. My wife ordered city grits and turkey sausage. The grits were not hot. They brought another bowl right away and the manager came over and apologized. They were very good when they came out again. I will definitely come back again. read more

My first mistake was trying to go there during the Sunday brunch hr. Waited for a table for nearly 10 mins while there were numerous seats open. After not receiving our food for almost 30 mins, the server said that they had dropped our food and had to remake it. Waited about 10 mins longer and then told the mgr that if our food wasn't out immediately that we were leaving. He never came back out so we walked out. I've visited this location twice. First time was a weekday lunch with a friend. I had the chicken and waffles, which were not very good. The chicken was flavorless and I did not care for the house-made chipotle honey sauce. The service was so-so, friendly but not super competent. Second time was a weekend breakfast with my family. My son and I both ordered the cinnamon roll French toast but the waitress decided that we should share one order. She came back a while later to apologize and say that the manager would not allow us to split the plate, which was fine because it was her idea, not ours. The dish comes with two eggs and choice of breakfast meat and we both chose bacon. My son said he did not want eggs but the waitress did not give my husband and I the option to eat them ourselves. We just paid for eggs we did not get. After a long wait trying not to make eye contact with a very creepy balloon guy, our food finally arrived. Most of it. The waitress told us they were out of bacon and that there would be a delay. Long after we finished eating, she finally came back and told us there would be no bacon and that the manager would remove the charge (he also gave us a card for a free meal). She should have told us immediately about the bacon (not when the food arrived, not when we had finished eating) so we could have switched to sausage or ham. It's like the place is staffed with people who have never worked in (or possibly eaten at) a restaurant before. read more
