I'd narrowed down my choices, but after chatting with our server, I went with the lobster burger. First of all- who decided to put the words lobster and burger together? It sounded confusing. And possibly unappetizing. Turns out, I owe whoever invented it an apology. The sweet server swiftly delivered a buttery brioche bun stuffed with big chunks of lobster, crisp lettuce, and a juicy tomato. I also requested a side of melted butter because...obviously. I feel like if there's lobster involved, melted butter is non-negotiable. Crispy fries rounded out the meal, and it was so ridiculously good that I pretty much unintentionally halted all dinner conversation to enjoy the party in my mouth. My husband ordered the ahi tacos with a side of duck fat fries. He inhaled every last bite of the tacos. They were piled high with fresh ahi and all the fixings, and the duck fat fries were rich and savory perfection- crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, exactly as fries should be. The restaurant itself is pretty small, with just a handful of tables inside plus some outdoor seating. I can definitely see this place being packed during peak hours and high season, so plan accordingly. We'll absolutely be back sooner than later.

Feel free to bring a dollar and staple a dollar to the ceiling or if you're a copper firefighter bring your patch and they will hang it proudly. When I'm on vacation I like my food very simple. A simple double smashburger and fries 100% does me in. For servers are definitely all smiling another staple and not really an expectation but I'm so glad to see it. My wife got a chicken quesadilla not really adventurous again for the same reason. Another Broken Egg is an absolute gem of a spot! My boyfriend and I decided to make a day trip from St. Pete and stumbled upon this charming breakfast place. From the moment we walked in, we knew it was going to be good--the bustling crowd was a sure sign! Our server was a delight, offering us numerous recommendations and making us feel right at home. Although I missed out on the cinnamon French toast (apparently a must-try!), my lobster and brie omelette was a delightful surprise, packed with flavor and uniqueness. My boyfriend enjoyed his power bowl as well. To complement our meal, we indulged in a pitcher of mimosas that were absolutely divine. Overall, Another Broken Egg exceeded our expectations with its fun and cute ambiance, friendly service, and delicious breakfast offerings. Today, 2/4/22 was my last day in Sarasota until next February, my family left the breakfast decision up to me and without hesitation I said Another Broken Egg Cafe. All the staff is amazing, very attentive to your needs and truly care about you having a great experience. Today I had the Lobster and Brie omelette, City grits and a Screwdriver. My mom had the Floridian omelette, we split them in half and shared. Both were amazing. No pictures to share, but the portions are very generous, and you will not leave hungry. IMO, you are wasting your time eating anywhere else. Use the call ahead feature on Yelp , very easy to use and you get right in. read more

Another Broken Egg is worth the time and money for exceptional food and service. We have been going there for years and the food and service is consistently good. We usually order an egg scrambler with spinach and roasted red peppers. It comes with potatoes and muffin. For dessert, a waffle with strawberries. Waffle is the best tasting in town -- crispy and light. They,also, make a great blood Mary. I prefer coffee and a mango ice tea. Price is very reasonable for what you get. terrible service. they were out of 2 menu items that i tried to order and the server had no idea each time she had to come back and tell me instead of knowing. Not only were they out of 2 items i wanted they continued to rush me to order my food after they told me. food was subpar i could make a better omelette at my house. drinks were watered down. only got 1 napkin and it was soaking wet because they cleaned the table right before we sat down and didn't bother to dry it off. Fortunately for visitors this another excellent option for breakfast or a snack in Siesta Key. The staff are pleasant and the service is swift. My wife and I both enjoyed our meals and were in and out of there quite quickly. I like to eat good food but don't like to take too much time away from outdoor activities and this place is perfect for that. Our drinks took forever to arrive (after the food), and two ladies who'd ordered classic eggs Benedict had to send them back (the whites were very under-cooked and running all over the plate). When they complained to the waitress, the response was "oh, well our Benedict's are always like that" - so they basically had to insist she take them away and get cooked ones.... Which took forever and the rest of us were finished our meals by then. Hey, rejected or uncooked dishes SHOULD get some priority, but not in this place it seems. When the new Benedicts finally arrived the yolks were solid, so apparently the kitchen had decided to over-compensate and punish those nasty folks who'd complained... but by then we were past even mentioning it. Heck, how hard is to poach an egg anyway?? The entire service experience was amateurish at best, with dishes delivered randomly so we never got any feeling of coordinated service at all. Maybe the waitress was unhappy that we we'd sent back complete rubbish. My own "daily special" sandwich (I don't remember the name) was also very forgettable and I ended up leaving most of it. When I asked for the check, the waitress took forever to produce it - clearly she's not suited to the role. Then, when I went to pay the check (which has to be done at the front counter!!), there were 4 other folks all waiting for somebody to take our money. There was some unknown issue with one checkout, and nobody on staff seemed to have a solution (nor were they particularly concerned), but eventually we all managed to get the checks paid and able to leave. This whole non-standard way of paying checks is simply chaos in itself - whoever decided it was better than a table-side checkout must have been smoking something strange. Totally chaotic mess in every respect... not a place we'll bother visiting again. Why it seems to be quite busy is a complete mystery - undoubtedly only because there isn't much else around to compete with. Epic fail.
