2nd time here but 1st time for lunch. And lunch was just as delicious as breakfast. Customer service was outstanding and friendly. Greeted immediately with some smiling faces. We sat outside on the beautiful patio with nice tables, chairs and a small couch seating area, umbrellas and a small fire decoration type thing that wasn't on. The lunch menu is definitely smaller than breakfast. I got the Sonoma Club Sandwich which was ham, turkey, baked bacon, guacamole, cheddar jack cheese, tomato and red onion on white or grain. The bacon is nicely crisped. Love it. Bread was toasted. Everything was super fresh. I did get a side of their amazing grits. Gouda cheese, bacon, scallions, tomatoes. So creamy, so gouda. :) Definitely need to check them out for either breakfast or lunch. read more

Tried Another Broken Egg today for breakfast! There was no wait at 11AM on a Sunday, so that was a plus! I had the Sunrise Spinach Scrambler with country potatoes, a biscuit instead of an English muffins, and added a 2 stack of buttermilk pancakes! The food was delicious! My only complaint would be the pancakes were really dry.. seemed almost overcooked. I had the Colombian roast coffee, and if you don't like a super dark roast, I would not recommend because it is strong! The caramel cold brew was also TO DIE FOR! Too bad you don't get free refills. Just visited for a quick breakfast before our day at the beach. The food was great and the service was even better. We had Addy, who was able to listen to my food allergies and help me figure out what I could safely eat with my celiac restrictions. It was the perfect breakfast to start our vacation. Everything was just "meh" I probably wouldn't come back. Eggs were not cooked as asked. Pancakes were horrible!! Thick, heavy, dense and very dry. Bacon was extremely greasy and not crispy. Potatoes tasted frozen with no flavor. English muffin was good tho! Service was sub par. Asked how everything was when we were just about finished, and just dropped check. Menu was extensive! So many options it took a while to choose. I asked the server what was best between the Mardi Gras omelette and the lobster and Brie. She suggested the lobster and Brie and it was not my cup of tea. Flavor was great but I personally did not enjoy the Brie. The bourbon st pancakes are amazing!!! Must try. We were so disappointed with this restaurant and went on Mother's Day . I've been to this restaurant in other locations so not sure if it is just this location struggling or not. The bartender was particularly rude and I know they were busy, but we went out of our way to be nice and accommodating. We just kept being told they didn't have time to remove dishes, didn't have time to get us a drink and would not let us order food. I've really never seen such a disaster in a restaurant in my entire life. Plus how intentionally rude the bartender was to us was out of control. I've heard from others how rude that bartender is now. Plus we were charged $32 for 2 mimosas! I will never go back to this location. We left and ate somewhere else and that bartender yelled at us while leaving about paying our bill, which I had already paid and tipped for some dumb reason! Terrible service!! read more

Came during the week and there was no wait and everything was calm. The food was delicious and them city grits had us coming back for seconds. The place had low noise level but I would credit that to being a day of the week, I've seen them very busy on the weekend so be aware with many people waiting outside so be aware that is totally worth the wait or a visit on a non peak day. read more

Our server recommended the "shrimp benny" and I'm so glad I got it because it was so flavourful . I'm generally not a fan of runny eggs but I devoured this dish. Literally not a crumb was left. Sadly we waited 90 minutes for our meal on a Sunday! Apparently the kitchen fell behind and though our server continued to keep us updated, this, our food arrived finally but lukewarm. We were never approached by management to explain the situation or even discount our meal. I felt sorry for the servers but would never return. read more

The manager didn't even bother to check in--we had to stop him ourselves. And all he could say was, "We dropped the ball today, we usually give great service." That's it? Nothing special going on here. Was told there was a 30 min wait for a table meanwhile there were several empty tables. The ambiance and decor is nice, the place clean. A waitress should at least stop by your table and say, "Hello, I'm your server and will be with you shortly." You are busy? Fine. Just let us know we have someone. First of all, the ambience was excellent. We were expecting a great meal. But that was not what we experienced. First, the man who met us and seated us was not having a good day. He took us to a table that was wobbly, and we asked for a different table. He was not happy about that. The first person you meet in a restaurant can set the tone for the rest of the time there. Our waitress was very courteous and professional, but service was very slow. We arrived around 11:30 AM and the restaurant was not crowded. The service should have been faster. I noticed patrons at other tables were equally displeased. The food was disappointing. The "fluffy" pancakes were rubbery. The bacon was cold and too salty. The southern fried chicken sandwich was merely four chicken tenders on bun with two slices of tomato. We did not eat all of our food; we didn't want to risk it. Finally, when I opened my silverware, that was wrapped in a napkin, the fork was dirty. Not a good sign. We will not be going back. The other local restaurants, "The No Frill Grill", Baker's Crust, Taste, and First Watch are much better. This restaurant needs to work on its procedures and customer service. read more

Not the best breakfast place in town. We asked for no onions on our omlette/scrambles, but there was definitely onion. It doesn't appear that the english muffin was toasted: there were some brown spots on the edges, but it was not crunchy all, like it had just come out of the bag.
