Menu was extensive! So many options it took a while to choose. I asked the server what was best between the Mardi Gras omelette and the lobster and Brie. She suggested the lobster and Brie and it was not my cup of tea. Flavor was great but I personally did not enjoy the Brie. The bourbon st pancakes are amazing!!! Must try. We were so disappointed with this restaurant and went on Mother's Day . I've been to this restaurant in other locations so not sure if it is just this location struggling or not. The bartender was particularly rude and I know they were busy, but we went out of our way to be nice and accommodating. We just kept being told they didn't have time to remove dishes, didn't have time to get us a drink and would not let us order food. I've really never seen such a disaster in a restaurant in my entire life. Plus how intentionally rude the bartender was to us was out of control. I've heard from others how rude that bartender is now. Plus we were charged $32 for 2 mimosas! I will never go back to this location. Nothing special going on here. Was told there was a 30 min wait for a table meanwhile there were several empty tables. The ambiance and decor is nice, the place clean. First of all, the ambience was excellent. We were expecting a great meal. But that was not what we experienced. First, the man who met us and seated us was not having a good day. He took us to a table that was wobbly, and we asked for a different table. He was not happy about that. The first person you meet in a restaurant can set the tone for the rest of the time there. Our waitress was very courteous and professional, but service was very slow. We arrived around 11:30 AM and the restaurant was not crowded. The service should have been faster. I noticed patrons at other tables were equally displeased. The food was disappointing. The "fluffy" pancakes were rubbery. The bacon was cold and too salty. The southern fried chicken sandwich was merely four chicken tenders on bun with two slices of tomato. We did not eat all of our food; we didn't want to risk it. Finally, when I opened my silverware, that was wrapped in a napkin, the fork was dirty. Not a good sign. We will not be going back. The other local restaurants, "The No Frill Grill", Baker's Crust, Taste, and First Watch are much better. This restaurant needs to work on its procedures and customer service. read more

Another egg bistro lived up to its name in terms of it being just that. You're better off going to McDonald's for less than subpar service and less than desirable food. The only thing this place had going for it was the decor. Start off was fine, super friendly server, very quick to come not once but twice to get drinks in. After that everything went down hill. Our server asked the table if we wanted straws, we all said yes, ten minutes go by and she went and saw other tables and people at the bar.. still no straws. So we got our own, which is fine. Our food order got taken and we waited patiently. Our food came out and two out of the four dishes were incorrect. Our drinks were empty and not acknowledged. Asked if we needed anything and we asked for butter, refills and hollandaise sauce for my salmon eggs Benedict... which had absolutely zero sauce. So all I got were poached eggs on some salmon locks. The other order, the traditional, with eggs that were supposed to be over medium with no runny yolk came out fried and over easy. Another ten to fifteen minutes pass by, no check in, no butter, no hollandaise sauce and no refills. When addressed, rather than taking accountability for the lack of service and poor food quality we got pushback and told if we wanted the eggs with jammy yolk we should've ordered them over hard. Maybe 5 or 6 minutes. Everything was fresh, and tasted wonderful. The in house made sausage is awesome! There's NO automatic gratuity. I had a chance to speak to Cyrus the manager and he's been managing restaurants for years. He knows what's right for the customers. Plus, they also provide a military discount. First, let me say the restaurant is beautiful and the service was excellent. However, the food was disappointing. I was interested in the crabcakes Benedict, and asked the server if there were a lot of fillers in the crabcakes. She said no so I went ahead and ordered them. The entire dish was very disappointing. The crabcakes were terrible and the so-called hollandaise sauce tasted more like a béchamel. The mimosa was flat and not made with fresh orange juice.
