Visited here with friends for a birthday party and, while impressed with our perfect seat, wasn't all that impressed with the food or the prices. I had the hardest time finding something fresh on the menu to eat which surprised me for a high end seafood restaurant but I did end up eating some yummy prawns but for the price, I wasn't impressed. The restaurant was nice and some of the others enjoyed their food but, overall, I expected more since I'm all about the food so it's most likely one and done for me since they're are other options in Bremerton on the boardwalk. I was disappointed but it's been quite a while since I've hung out on the waterfront there and may just go back for Happy Hour one of these days if I end up in the area. The family and I came to this location in Bremerton. My sister said it would be a good choice, while we waited to catch the ferry to Seattle, since most of us enjoy seafood as well as a place that served a variety of different dishes. Here's the dishes and items we ordered as read right off the menu: Anthony's Clam Chowder $4.50/$5.95 My take: the chunky soup was filled with celery and red potatoes the way I like it. But that's just it, it didn't take a whole lot different from a can of Chunky Soup or Progresso. I enjoyed the chowder very much but hardly distinguishable in taste to this chowder novice to the stuff you can get in a can. Dungeness Crab Salad with Chowder $14.95 - Dungeness crab, avocado, grapefruit, romaine and market greens with basil vinaigrette and Louie. Served with Anthony's clam chowder. My take: this probably their best bet or my suggested dish combo! The crab salad was fresh! The crab had good flavor and was given in good portions. The greens were crisp and colorful. The citrus tanginess of the grapefruit adds a good balance to the greens and vinaigrette dressing. Anthony's Baker's Bowl & Caesar Salad $10.95 - Our toasted sourdough local filled with our award-winning homemade clam chowder. Served with a Caesar salad. My take: what's better than chowder in a bread bowl? Their Caesar Salad is good but certainly nothing special. Fish Taco & Clam Chowder $9.95 - Your choice of one blackened rockfish or one mahi mahi taco with a cup of our award-winning homemade clam chowder. My take: this is the dish I ordered. The rockfish was firm and fresh but lacks flavor. The seasoning, the lime I squeezed on it nor the salsa fresca did much to enhance its taste. I was not too impressed. Mahi Mahi Tacos $11.95 - Chargrilled mahi mahi wrapped in warm Santa Fe tortilla Tortillas with tomato and salsa mayo. My take: I liked this more than the rockfish tacos. The mahi mahi has more flavor and I liked the salsa mayo dressing. This is a better bet if you're craving fish tacos in my opinion. Anthony's Peach Lemonade $3.95 - Our signature lemonade flavored with fresh local peaches. My take: their lemonade is homemade and can be a bit too sour and needs to be sweetened a tad bit, so the sweet taste and fibered texture of the peach nectar was a terrific balance to this drink. But I only took a sip because it's essentially a "chick drink". Ha-ha! Okay, don't hate please! This location is on Sinclair Inlet, in the new Harborside Development, adjacent to the Kitsap Conference Center where it overlooks the Bremerton Marina. When the weather is good, as it was this particular day, I strongly suggest you eat outside to enjoy the great view of the Sinclair Inlet while watching the Bremerton ferry and numerous Naval ships come and go. There's nothing like dining outdoors by the water while enjoying some pretty good and reasonably priced seafood! Okay so I've lived in kitsap for almost 20 years now and all the while this restaurant has repeatedly come up whenever the conversation of good food comes up. I have to say I wasn't impressed... the ONLY reason they received 3 stars is because they serve trout (it was delicious), which is oddly rare to come across. Our waitress was actually the bar tender. She was not very pleasant; all business when she took our order and delivered the food, cause that's about all she did. Never once asked if we needed refills on our drinks, didn't question why the scallops weren't touched. Unfortunately heard the table behind us complain about their food and their bill was comped. Maybe they were having a bad day I don't know but I do know that it's way too pricey of a place to have a bad day! Cause I'm not willing to go back and spend that kind of cash to hopefully have a good experience even if they do serve trout! Good deal. Came here on a weeknight and got the Sunset Dinner menu before 6pm. 4 courses for a little under $30 including tip! Walking distance from both the Hampton and Fairfield nearby, so don't have to look for parking if you're staying at either. Servers and hostesses are friendly. Service is a little slow--it might be a bit understaffed. But atmosphere is nice, and food was good for what it cost. Salmon croccatini: good, crispy Clam chowder: a little on the salty side Northwest duet: pretty good. Looks small at first but definitely filling and tasty Chocolate mousse: it was alright. Although the outdoor seating was closed today, it was a wonderful indoor eating experience. The COVID-19 safety measures were followed very well. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was amazing! We were not terribly hungry, so we got a few little things and they turned out to be almost too much! The clam chowder was a bit heavy on the potatoes, but overall some of the very best and the salad paring was my favorite. The kids had pasta, and they raved about it. The ambiance was great and the bathroom experience was pretty awesome too. They take the whole fish restaurant to a whole new level isn't his place, and it makes it so much fun to be inside. Atmosphere here is great. A wall of windows overlooking the water. Locked at the Bremerton Ferry Dock. We ordered a glass of wine and were pleased that the waiter opened a fresh bottle at the table, because the one at the bar was almost gone. I personally like the Oregon Pinot Gris, but their wine choices were limited to Oregon & Washington vineyards. I did not see any Californian or International wine choices. But they are a seafood restaurant, not a winery. Of course, we started with a cup of clam chowder (yummy) and then we had crab toast served with a Asian slaw. While this was very tasty, I was little disappointed that the shrimp were more prominent than the crab. Was tossed between this a actual crab cakes... next time crab cakes. I knew this was going to be a slow experience from the minute we walked in. We were in town for a wedding and wanted to grab a quick bite before the festivities. Unbeknownst to us, Anthony's only has the dinner menu available starting at 2pm on Sundays. Uhhhh....what? 4pm I can understand, but 2pm? Really? Anyway, we were told it would take 10mins to be seated, even though the restaurant was fairly empty and there were tons of tables. I couldn't comprehend why until I saw the speed at which one girl was busing the tables. We stated we were in a rush, so they ended up being able to accommodate us. Given we weren't looking to eat a giant meal, we ended up with a few orders of the fish & chips and the blackened salmon tacos. The fish & chips were fresh and fried nicely. A bit under-seasoned, but decent overall, along with a side of fries. The salmon tacos were also ok and came with a side of tortilla chips and salsa. We kind of ate and ran, but the location is nice and there's a huge patio with a view if you're into that sort of thing and have the time for a leisurely meal. read more

Service has become total and complete crap. My husband and I have been to this location many times. We drop at least $125 every time we go. But the last 3 times have been sub par at best and today was the straw that broke the camels back. We went in and asked to be seated at the bar. The hostess said she would have to check because the "bar tender was leaving" (at 2:30 in the afternoon??)Although odd.. that was not the issue. What was the issue was the extremely rude employee in the bar who screamed across the restaurant "NO, they cant sit here!" The hostess about cried.. (she was actually sweet). But that nasty employee with ZERO tact is why we will never come back. This person was rude and embarrassing. A simple "I'm so sorry, but we aren't seating anyone at the bar right now" would have sufficed. Hire some people with a shred of class. Maybe pay your hostess better for putting up with rude waitstaff..I've worked customer service jobs for years. I know it can get rough.. but the rudeness of this employee was not warranted at all. Showed up without reservations to a very full anthonys and had their best experience on our waitress Loradana J Seem to have the magical ability to serve everyone In a timely manner and yet take a moment to interact with them in a very kind and caring way... I often say in my reviews customer service is a lost art, however it is not lost with her. I highly recommend Anthonys in Bremerton and sitting in her section if you have the opportunity. Started by we can't seat you without reservation (the restaurant was half empty), then outside in the sun (with 4 seniors) then inside with 3 tables for our party of 12. for years, we've enjoyed riding the ferry over from seattle with our two mini poodles. this was a very nice day, and we were excited for a nice patio dinner on the water. we got to the restaurant and they suddenly changed their policy about dogs on the patio / this is not a county health requirement. the restaurant lost over $100 in high margin revenue, as we would have ordered appetizers, drinks and entrees. any restaurant that actively refuses customers now does not care about customer service and survival. overall a wasted afternoon, and I highly recommend avoiding any Anthony's restaurants as they clearly indicate they do not need customers. read more

We just ordered here, I was reluctant to do so only because I couldn't see good pictures and I'm pretty picky when it comes to a simple Cesar salads. My husband insisted we try it so I went ahead and ordered over the phone, the person over the phone was very kind and she repeated everything back to me. My husband walked to get the food and came back with tough fish and chips (from the kids menu) the chargrilled burg was dripping wet, to the point where my husband said it was a mess and unenjoyable, and my Cesar salad I asked for 2 extras of everything but came with two different colors and textures of dressing, no extra cheese or croutons and also three forks for one small salad in the same box(made no sense) for the price of everything this was not worth it at all, and very disappointing. Imagine an outdated Denny's fashion style restaurant with a water view; small overpriced portions and a mismanaged staff. Six pieces of broccoli, a cup of rice pilaf and a small lobster tail that's the extravagant "Anthony's Lobster Dinner"; 70$. Three hostesses at the front podium giggling and flirting with the bus boys with nothing to do. Seven times I overheard multiple waiters, waitresses and the bartender to those dining/eating "Sorry about the wait." "Thank you for your patience." The place wasn't busy at all. Four people at the bar. Roughly only half the tables were filled. Great courtesy but no reason for anyone to be waiting for anything when you're not busy. For example, we ordered one beer and one mixed drink. Our waiter took the order to the bar and they were made within 3 minutes. They then sat at the bar as the only two drinks for 11 minutes before our waiter asked if we were ready to order. I mentioned those were our drinks at the bar and if he could grab them. It speaks volumes about your establishment when you have lots of folks standing around and the floors are dirty and the bathroom needs attention. 180$ for two entrees, two drinks and one appetizer. Wife & I went Friday evening for dinner. She had the seafood scampi and I the weather vane scallops. Between the appetizers, dinner, and warm bread w/butter a very satisfying meal was had. Moderately busy was expected for a Friday night dinner but due to our later arrival as time went on so did the patrons. Their salad was delicious and enjoyable with complementing flavors and textures; I don't usually eat salad due to prioritizing space for the main courses but this salad was too good to leave alone.
