Had dinner here the night before our Alaskan Cruise. I had Crab Chowder and a Fish Taco. Service stunk and the Taco was terrible. I could have got a better Taco at Taco Bell for 1/16 the price. The slaw was a bit too sweet for my liking but the ingredients were fresh and crunchy. The Caesar salad and bowl of chowder were pitch perfect too. If there is one complaint it is the very limited dessert options. Only 3 choices but no chocolate, no caramel... only 3 rhubarb desserts: sorbet, cheesecake, slump w vanilla ice cream. Anthony's pier self service cafe very good for quick bite or drink. We took 2 taco 1 x mahi mahi and 1 x salmon taco. Salmon was very yummy but mahi mahi was a bit dry. It needs some salsa or sauce. We got only ketchup for fries. Unfortunately with virus there is no more salt or pepper on the tables anymore and there is nowhere individual small salt packets. Everything you have to ask for. Even straws or utensils. It's a bit annoying. I wish they just kept individual plastic utensils. Margaritas were mediocre but it's only $6 so I don't expect anything fancy. Anthony's Bell Street Diner is located by the water and is not too far away from Pike's Place Market. If you crave the exercise, you can walk from the Market to here. But if you had a toddler and a senior citizen with you like we did, driving would save you a lot of time and... other stuff. There is no parking lot or structure on Alaskan Way, the vehicle thoroughfare on which Anthony's Bell Street Diner is located. The closest one we found was on Elliot Street and we had to use the pedestrian bridge to reach the water side of Alaskan Way. There is no other crosswalk nearby. Ordered the mixed fresh oysters and was glad that it came with a picture "oyster guide". The Fisherman's Basket had a selection of battered and fried seafood as well as fries that tasted really good. The Salmon dish was seasoned well and was cooked perfectly. Kids Menu is available. We had a great view form our window seats and we relished the time to sit comfortably and have a large, clean and well-stocked restroom during our wanderings. read more

We visited here with a party of four on Tuesday, July 7th at about 6:30PM with a reservation. Of course, this is not a normal touristy summer on the waterfront, so a reservation was not necessarily required. Anyway, it took a while for us to be seated or until someone recognized that we were in the restaurant (2.5 minutes to be exact). I am guessing that they are currently operating with a significantly reduced staff. Our server, although efficient, was very not excited or enthusiastic to be working that evening. He was really only doing and saying what was absolutely minimally necessary. With that said, our food was excellent. I had the smoked salmon fettuccine. It was a generous portion, at a pretty good price for this part of Seattle. In addition to the Salmon which was amazing, it had mushrooms, capers, zucchini and onions in this fabulous sauce. The dish gets a perfect score in my book. I do believe the others in the party, also equally enjoyed the food. So, overall, it gets a four out of five on my Yelp scale. read more

Came here with my boyfriend since we had some gift cards from the holidays and was SO happy to discover they offer free validated parking at the parking garage across the street (at the art institute parking garage off of Elliot ave)- score! We decided to go to the bell street diner instead of pier 66 because of the cheaper options with a more casual atmosphere and I was happy we did! We came around 5pm on a Tuesday night and it surprisingly wasn't busy, so we had our choice of seats at the bar where HH is offered. Beautiful views of the city and lots of window seating, woot woot! I decided to get the seasonal cranberry lemonade ($7) and my boyfriend got their Anthony's Amber (&4.50). The cran lemonade had some smashed cranberries with just the right amount of vodka, and a very pretty drink overall! For food we decided to get the waffle fries with cheesy artichoke dip ($6) and calamari ($8). The calamari was light and came with a yummy lemon aoli but I was sad to discover that the "waffle fries" were sadly waffle chips- I was craving deep fried yummy potatoes. Didn't say anything because our server was so sweet maybe I should have. This was the only place they lost a star. We went big and I tried their $22 lobster dinner special and my boyfriend got HH buffalo chicken sliders ($6). Lobster was perfect. Came with a side of yummy garlicy mashed potatoes that my boyfriend kept stealing bites of an a side of green beans. My boyfriends sliders were way too spicy for my taste but he liked them. For dessert (oh yea!) I got the burnt cream which was pretty much a thicker creme brûlée, yum!! Perfect ending to the meal. Service was quick, attentive, and very friendly! A+ for service. Rainier was in full view. We both ordered the perfectly grilled local wild salmon which came with very good creamed mashed potatoes with chives, and outstanding asparagus. About $27 per order. For dessert we had rhubarb baked under a tender crust with ice cream. This was very good and seasonal. There were at least 5 parties of people waiting to be seated on a sunny Saturday afternoon. We waited at least 5 minutes for someone to appear to seat us; unclear how long others had been waiting. One person in our party asked if we could seat ourselves as there were many empty tables available and we were told no and that somebody would be coming by to seat people shortly. That never happened so we walked out after waiting for 5 minutes. A couple other parties that were waiting also left before being seated. Inability to be seated during an acceptable timeframe with many empty tables available did not portend that we'd receive any better service after we were seated. We ended up driving to another Anthony's location - Little Chinook's at Fisherman's terminal and were able to receive our food quickly. read more

Did not care to ask if we all were paying together and when she came with the check and I politely asked her about splitting it she gave me a very rude response. What a treat! We ate at Anthony's Bell Street Diner, and it was exactly what we needed after a long day of travel from the East Coast and some afternoon sight seeing. My husband ordered the clam chowder and fish and chips, and both were delicious. I am not a seafood person which can be a challenge, but I ordered an Asian chicken bowl that was perhaps one of the greatest meals I've had! Our service was exceptional, and we were seated outside right along the water. It could not have been better! We made our way up the waterfront toward the aquarium for a nice after dinner stroll. I came here because of the outdoor happy hour and I know Anthony's has a good happy hour on food and drinks. Drafts are $3.50, 7 oz. wine pours are $5, spiked lemonade $5.50. All great drink specials. I ordered the shrimp cocktail shooters (6 for $5) and a bottomless strawberry rhubarb lemonade. I love their lemonade. The shrimp cocktail on the menu looked like prawns in cocktail sauce- like a typical shrimp cocktail. What actually arrived was small shrimp mixed with cocktail sauce and chopped up celery as a filler. It was not that great. The shrimp didn't taste very good. It was a bit fishy. Although it is served in a very cute crab shaped holder the product is not very good. I thought the server might comment that I only picked at a few of the shooters but she did not. Where they seat you for outside happy hour doesn't have a view. Or maybe it does when there isn't a cruise ship docked. Regardless, there was no water view when I was there which was the main reason I stopped in. Oh well. I would return but wouldn't order the shrimp again. They should change the graphic on their happy hour menu so it reflects the actual item. They do have great drink specials during happy hour though so I recommend getting drinks! read more

Came here with my mother in law after a trip to the aquarium. It was around 3 so very quiet in there but service wasn't super snappy. However, my cocktail and crab toast were both really tasty. The cocktail was called the pearisian (or something along those lines) and I highly recommend. Crab toast was rich with a nice salad. There were other nice looking things on the menu so I would probably return if I were in the area. They also have a nice outdoor area. read more

For HH dessert my fave is the baked almond crusted cherry and local vanilla ice cream. There's something about that amaretto combination that make my taste buds sing!
