Quick stop for an early afternoon lunch at this adorable spot located right on the pier overlooking downtown Seattle! Lovely open air or indoor seating. Service was friendly, and quick! Ordered the salmon bowls per the servers suggestion. They were amazing!! Fresh grilled salmon over pineapple rice with a light sesame dressing and salad. Hands down my favorite lunch dish in the city! Highly recommend a stop! Pro tip: they validate parking at a nearby garage. Call them for info. I found free curbside parking right out front mid-summer!

Had dinner here the night before our Alaskan Cruise. I had Crab Chowder and a Fish Taco. Service stunk and the Taco was terrible. I could have got a better Taco at Taco Bell for 1/16 the price. A real waste of time and money. I do not recommend this place to anyone or for anything. Caveat Emptor.

You're definitely paying for the location when you come here. We ordered 2 beers, 2 chowders, and 2 fish tacos. They actually forgot our drink orders until we asked about them. The server said they bar misplaced the orders. Did I mention, the place was pretty empty. The chowders were pretty good, loaded with chunks of crab and flavorful. The highlight of the visit. The fish tacos, not so much. Both the taco shell and the fish were dry. I'd expect a bit more for $11. The decor was nice & the views were beautiful. 2025-31

Food is okay. Food took awhile and service was a bit slow but they did check in with us. Just an overall okay experience:

Dungeness crab for happy hour only $15. Best deal around for 7 days a week. 10/10

We sat at the hightop tables in the bar area. Happy hour available here. I think the bartender was Aubrey? Her first day working and she greeted up was a happy face and was awesome. My daughter has gluten issues and she had questions that she said she would look into. Next thing we know the Chef came over and explained the things she could make gluten free. That is awesome service!!! She went with the lingcod that was absolutely awesome. Thank you to the bartender and Chef! You guys were great!

Great service! My 3-piece lingcod entree $29 was perfectly cooked. It was served with a generous portion of French fries, which were crispy and hot, just like the fish. The slaw was a bit too sweet for my liking but the ingredients were fresh and crunchy. The Caesar salad and bowl of chowder were pitch perfect too. If there is one complaint it is the very limited dessert options. Only 3 choices but no chocolate, no caramel... only 3 rhubarb desserts: sorbet, cheesecake, slump w vanilla ice cream. That's a big miss by the executive chef IMHO. I eat out often, several times a week, and I'll put this place in heavy rotation.

Anthony's pier self service cafe very good for quick bite or drink. We took 2 taco 1 x mahi mahi and 1 x salmon taco. Salmon was very yummy but mahi mahi was a bit dry. It needs some salsa or sauce. We got only ketchup for fries. Unfortunately with virus there is no more salt or pepper on the tables anymore and there is nowhere individual small salt packets. Everything you have to ask for. Even straws or utensils. It's a bit annoying. I wish they just kept individual plastic utensils. Margaritas were mediocre but it's only $6 so I don't expect anything fancy. Vanilla ice cream was very good with very good taste and texture. ------ Overall had a nice quick bite with nice fancy view. Place could be much cleaner and staff could be more friendly.

Classic seafood spot. Next to the ocean view. The service was great and food were very fresh. We ordered Cod fish & chips, clam chowder and steamed cheesy clams. Good portion of the course.

I tried to find some fresh seafood on the waterfront and other places in Seattle. I saw some good options but the restaurant was closed or busy due to Mother's day. I had a 1/2 chilled Dungeness crab which was good and reasonably priced. The staff and bartender seemed like sometimes they were overworked and short-staffed but they tried hard.

It was my first night in Seattle, and it happen to be my birthday, so I wanted to go somewhere that was a local favorite. The service at Anthony's was great, and timely. I had just missed happy hour, but the drinks weren't badly priced, and they were mixed perfectly in terms of alcohol volume. The food was a little bland, especially because I'm coming from the south, but it was nothing some hot sauce couldn't fix. The portion however was small, & not worth the $22 price.

We started with fresh oysters, which were beautifully presented over ice with lemon and mignonette. They were incredibly fresh and delicious. We also tried the Dungeness crab roll, which was packed with sweet crab and served on a perfectly toasted bun. Everything tasted fresh, high quality, and thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and relaxed. The wood interior, Pearl Bar, and outdoor patio make it a great place to enjoy lunch, dinner, or happy hour. I ordered half dozen of the oysters on the half shell-shucker's choice and mini-tini. When I ordered at the counter, the staff said I can pick mini-tini from regular martini menu. Oh, that's great. So, I chose "i dream of aquavit" and she told me "it's a little bit weird flavor, is it okay?" What? What's mean weird flavor? But I was interested in, so I told her I'd like to know "weird flavor" lol! Shortly, my "weird flavor(lol)" mini-tini came and it looked cute, taste was okay. The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

They used a good slab of coho, nicely seasoned with a aioli. The fries were crunchy and nice. I shared with my husband and it was just right, since we had a bunch of apps at the market. We also got a round of beers. Or in my case I got their hard seltzer, which wasn't too bad, I would probably just get a light beer next time. Service was great outside! I had the fish and chips, which are three pieces of Alaskan cod - coming with fries, tartar sauce, and ketchup. These were seriously awesome. I have to first talk about the beer batter on the outside, which has a phenomenal crunch. It's craggly and crunchy in the best of ways - with a consistent crispiness across the entire fish for every piece. I don't think I've ever had a crunch this good on fish and chips. The oil is clearly fresh, and it's served with basically no delay from the frying. I also loved the cod inside. It's super moist and flaky. Obviously, the fish doesn't have a lot of fat, but it makes up for it with a disappearing texture where you barely even need to bite through. They've clearly gotten the formula right on the fish. If that wasn't enough, the fries were easily the best I've ever had with fish and chips. They were hot, thick, and fluffy - a perfect combination that led to delicious results. The portion on these was great as well. If I had one complaint, the tartar sauce wasn't very good. It felt like it was missing both fat and acid, and tasted closer to ranch than what I was expecting a tartar sauce to be. I just didn't end up using it for the fish. Yes, this is pricey. The 3-piece order cost me $26 before tax/tip. That's quite expensive - despite a solid portion size. Is this the best fish and chips in the city? To me it's between this and Pacific Inn Pub. They have a much better tartar sauce and serve a larger portion at a third less of the price, but I think the actual fish and the fries here are better. I would say it's a toss-up - you can't go wrong with either one. Overall, a fantastic new opening that I would love to bring people to. 9/10
