    Scallops with Pork Belly

My 100th review - a perfect evening with my husband, at a perfect restaurant with fantastic staff. What a great way to celebrate. First off - What a renovation! We hadn't eaten here since before covid and then the restaurant underwent a major renovation which looks wonderful. Bright and airy and the staff was fabulous. Special thanks to our server (Aylissa) and the bartender who both took fabulous care of us for our entire dining experience. We tried the Sweet Potato and Goat Cheese appetizer and it was astonishing. We also had a fabulous roasted squash and the winner of the meal was their over the top Scallops which just melted in your mouth. Finished it off with the Raspberry Oreo Tart which was fabulous. But the shocker was the Pineapple Rum Baba which was a flavor explosion in your mouth. I took one bite and didn't want to share with my husband, to just cover the bowl with my hand and have a Private moment with "my precious!" Try it out, you won't be disappointed, amazing food with amazing service.

A very nice atmosphere with a courteous and efficient staff. The hot Cajun seafood dip was outstanding and the calamari very fresh ....... Ribeye, Filet Mignon, Salmon and Seared Halibut were served as entrees and the consensus overall was very good with the exception of slightly too salty on the salmon. Dessert options looked great but we didn't indulge. An enjoyable experience.

Absolutely LOVED this place! I wanted a fancy dinner for my last weekend in San Antonio and had been disappointed by many restaurants folks suggested on the River walk so I decided to try something outside of downtown. I found antlers lodge on google and made my reservation for 1. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It's very old school with hints of modern. Very regal. I sat facing the fireplace for the view. I ordered the cioppino for the entree, a strawberry mule, a s'mores martini, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The presentation for the cocktails was beautiful! The strawberry mule had a strawberry flavored smoke bubble on top of it and the s'mores martini was toasted at the table and I got to blow out the flames to bring that campfire effect. Both cocktails were delicious! The cioppino was so yummy! Had great flavor, just the right amount of salt and large portions of seafood. The crostini was great dipped in the broth. The star was the sticky toffee pudding though. I guess they don't put it on the menu but one of the staff recommended it to me and I just had to try it. I never had it before and it was out of this world! Perfect balance of sweet, salty, great texture and creamy vanilla ice cream to tie it all together. It paired very well with my s'mores martini. The staff was amazing as well. There were multiple people who came to check on me throughout my meal making me feel like a valued customer. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a delicious, intimate dining experience!

Located at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort, Antler's Lodge is the property's flagship ,high-end restaurant. Food was very good and service was excellent. Aylissa was our server and Ryan was our bartender. Both were very attentive and made our visit special. Reservations are encouraged and can be done easily on the Hyatt website.

Absolutely the best restaurant in San Antonio. The staff were very knowledgeable of the menu and wine list. I will be coming back on my next trip. Ms. Tsai was a wonderful hostess!

The ambiance was really cool and calm. Went on a Tuesday night and it was very relaxing! The waiter was really nice and helpful, and clear in the explanation of different dishes. We started with the crab cakes which were actually extremely satisfying. Paired with the sauce given, it was eaten pretty quickly. My wife got the scallops and she believed the textures were slightly overcooked giving it a rubbery texture and wasn't as seasoned/flavorful as she'd hoped. As for me, I got the Lone star bone in ribeye. I enjoyed the portion, and the texture was pretty satisfying. I was hoping for a more flavorful taste of seasoning however received more of the natural flavor. Due to this, when you would taste the hints of salt/pepper it definitely enhanced the taste of the meat more, but not what I was expecting. Lastly, we were celebrating her birthday and received a complimentary dessert which was a pineapple cheesecake. Presentation was top tier especially as a fan of cheesecake I have an expectation of the visual. So when this came out, we were already intrigued. Paired with how well it tasted with the pineapple it was extremely satisfying and the highlight of the night. Definitely would come back to visit in the future

Food was good, ambiance is overplayed online, for instance, there is no bar. Feels like a national park restaurant, not exciting.

Birthdays, random cravings, "we survived the week" dinners & you name it, we've probably celebrated it here. The vibe is casual, fun, and laid-back, which is exactly what you want when you're about to put on a bib and commit to a seafood boil. And yes, that is exactly what you should do here because the boils never miss. The seafood is always fresh, the sauces are flavorful, and the spice levels are not playing around. My recommendation? Stick with level 2 unless you enjoy sweating through your meal and reevaluating your life choices. My go-to combo is mussels, shrimp, crab legs, potatoes, boiled egg, and veggies. And before anybody gets suspicious about the veggies in a seafood boil, hear me out, they absolutely belong there. They soak up all that buttery, spicy sauce and add something extra to the whole experience. Don't skip them. Also, get the flights. They're fun, they're good, and they make an already good time even better. Smashin Crab is one of those places we keep coming back to because it's reliable in the best way: good seafood, great flavor, and the kind of meal that feels like an event every time.

Jenn was our server, and she was amazing very attentive, informative, and provided great service throughout our visit. The ambiance was a fun, lively vibe with music playing, and the restaurant was clean. The happy hour menu had a great selection, with everything from shrimp boils to cocktails. We started with the 1/2 dozen chargrilled oysters ($19.12) and the Smash'd Margarita Flight ($11 during happy hour). Chargrilled Oysters: 8.5/10 The oysters were cooked in garlic butter and Parmesan and served with crispy toast. The toast was definitely a highlight for me it added such a good texture and paired really well with the oysters. I would absolutely order these again! Smash'd Margarita Flight: (9/10) This was a fun way to get a taste of the different margaritas they offer. The prickly pear was my favorite of the flight! Shrimp Boil: (10/10) For our main meal, we ordered the shrimp boil from the happy hour menu and added a few extras. I loved how customizable the boils were. They have a great variety of add-ons, from broccoli to ramen noodles, and you can also choose your seasoning and spice level. Overall, we had a great experience. Good food, a fun atmosphere, plenty of options, and great service from Jenn. We'll definitely be back and those chargrilled oysters will be making another appearance at the table! They have three different kinds, and the server was knowledgeable enough to explain to us what the different kinds were, size, graininess, and other intangibles that would help us make our decision, and I'm glad he did because we got the Gulf oysters and they were awesome My wife had a Lobster and shrimp roll, which was one of the most delicious things I think I've ever tasted in a seafood restaurant, I went standard with fish and chips, and they were quite amazing, battered properly, lightly fried, golden brown, hot and juicy on the inside, with very little grease residue, five out of five would definitely eat those Again. We ordered the fish chicharron. Not even close to the same dish served at the other location. It made us so upset, that it's not even worth talking about anymore. My son LOVES the paella at the other location. He picked the shrimp out and refused to eat the rest. We all tried it and agreed, it lacked flavor, and it didn't even feel like it was cooked the same. I ordered the caldo 7 mares. This one is mixed. It was FULL of seafood...but ZERO of the rich seafood broth you expect. For the price, the broth should at least taste...well, no joke but it should taste like fish. Even salt didn't help. The misses ordered the fried fish and shrimp. That was the best dish, and not by much. We had a michelada, and it wasn't bad, but again didn't hold a candle to the other location. The one sauce, the chipotle mayo type, was absolutely delicious. The green one not so much. Even that sauce is completely different than the 151 location. The chips were stale... Our waitress visited us once, and we WERE the only family dining there. No refills for us I guess! We were perplexed how the same family of restaurants can be so different!!! Visit the 151 location, trust me!
