First of all my husband called in and asked for something specific and was told they didn't make that and they did. Make sure your employees know what us made there. Thus wS the first and last time buying food there. So we bought a family meal and the spaghetti sauce tasted like it came from a had. Never ever again. just moved around the corner and finally got a chance to check this place out. the hours are a bit odd, they close pretty early - around 3pm or earlier if they run out of bread. their pizza on garlic bread is fantastic. decent prices. the place is lovely inside and it's been around for ages. the owner is lovely and automatically knew my partner and i were new to this place. she walked us through the menu and was very kind. everyone here is a local and a regular. a gem in riverside! they accept atm and have unlimited soda fountains. read more

The more I go here the less I like it. The bread is good,the veg. sandwich is a over priced joke. It comes with nothing on it and they still charge extra for avacodo. The meat sandwiches are ok, just really plain. When I eat there I always wonder why I don't just make a sandwich myself for half the price. They really need some kind of dressing or something to liven it up. I give the food 3 stars but the high price drops it to 2 stars. There are way better sandwiches in riverside for the same price. Meatballs are good. I got the meatball sandwich and it was hot, crunchy and had enough cheese to make it taste wonderful. However, I thought it was a little pricey and they need longer hours. But, I will be back to try the pizza or pasta dishes. read more

I love this place have been coming here since I was a kid & now my kids love it. My favorite meatball on garlic toast & the mafia are delicious. Love the people have run this place forever best bread in town. I have been going to Antone's for over 30 years and can't get enough. My favorite is their Special - which is pizza on garlic bread. YES PLEASE. I think it's awesome they've kept the same family recipes for 55+ years, and the little blue house on the corner that could. I don't know what the big deal is. I have been here twice, I had the mafia sandwich which was OK and I had a pastrami sandwich which was a fail. Both sandwiches were bland and nothing special, I've had better sandwiches from the Ralph's deli. Update: The hot meatball sandwich on garlic bread was really good. You have to ask for the garlic bread upgrade, learned of this from the Yelp reviews. read more

After working minutes away from Antone's for over 1 year, I finally decided to try it. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza and thought it would be delish, since they make their own bread. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. They don't use pizza dough, It's more of a deep dish bread, idk but it was tasteless. I can't comment on the sandwiches because I haven't tried them. read more

I kept hearing great things about the bread. Well, that was a lie. My bread was actually undercooked and barely brown on the outside. The sandwich itself was kind of bland. Boring. Rather dry, underdressed. What really peeved me was that I had to wait forever to order and not because it was crowded. Green salad : iceberg romaine mix with tomatoes and pepperocinis only. They will add onion, olive, cheese etc upon request. House dressing is good, think of red wine vinegarette. I enjoyed my "Mafia" sandwich and side salad. Everything was excellent but a bit salty for my taste. Yes, my only complaint was that the garlic infused bread was too salty. Next time I won't order the recommended garlic bread as part of the sandwich. I still prefer Togo's #16 sandwich to the Mafia. The meat is better at Togo's but the bread (despite the salty garlic) was great at Antone's. I will be back. read more

I've been coming here since I was younger. The owner is super nice & welcoming she always made me want to come back for more. You can't order a sandwich from here without getting their house made garlic bread! The sandwiches are your simple Italian not too heavy type. The location is an old house which I always thought was super cute. They do close earlier so make sure you check the time, I forgotten & sadly arrived to it being closed multiple times. This mom and pop establishment had the worse sandwiches ever. Never again would we step foot into this place. Should of gone to the thai place next door. My boyfriend ordered a meatball sandwich he couldn't even eat it. it lacked flavor the bread was hard and they say they bake it fresh daily.
